Not a good match with Dr. Suzanne Werthheimer. She is just not for me. I got halfway through my appointment today, and she realized that she doesn’t take my insurance.
The front desk should have been responsible to ask me if I had any changes in insurance. So, now I am responsible to pay for the appointment in full. In which, she knows that my husband got laid off from his job, and money is tough right now. I would of thought that she would have «let it slide,» since it wasn’t my fault.
I understand that doctors need to get paid, but this puts a bad taste in my mouth. I’m really disappointed in this place. I wouldn’t recommend it.
It’s really hard to find a psychiatrist that is a good match. I had a psychiatrist, a while back that helped me by doing pro-​Bono. Now that is a genuine Doctor that truly cares about the nature of mental illness. I will always admire Dr. Annabelle Wallace!

Horrible place. Doctor «Jane» said I wasn’t a good fit for her after she forgot to do intake questions on our first visit. She said that I might break her heart during our second visit.
I’ll need extra counseling after this.
STAY AWAY!!!

This place doesn’t care about their patients. They only care about money. I took my son here for over a year and was constantly being pressured to increase appointments. Toward the end they advised me to take him out of school so he could be seen more. He is a normal boy who just needed ADHD meds.
In the end even though he had an appointment in 1 weeks time they refused to refill a prescription and left my son to go «cold turkey» without medication until his appointment. They constantly asked me if we were paid up. which we were with insurance and co-​pays at the time of his visits. Very shady business practices here. My pediatrician no longer refers patients to them.
