Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery

This is your standard chain restaurant. Nothing amazing or memorable. Well maybe some «things» were memorable when it came to our fun yet a lil confused waitress. If you ever watched a Britney Spears video from her early days then you know the naughty school girl routine… lol. I was the quiet observer, not a hater. I was taking it all in and saying to myself, if I ever have a daughter she would not be working here. Yea, it’s creepy watching elderly men flirt up girls the same age as their granddaughters, but that’s the atmosphere. Ok… back to the food. They have a better menu than Hooters. The salad I got was decent. They have some quirky names for some of their dishes, hence the Double D burger. If you’re looking for a fun, laid back restaurant with some serious people watching grab your bag pipes and head to the kilt.

Worse experience ever! You can see the pic I uploaded the fries were dripping in grease so much so that my burger was soggy from it. I literally took two bites when our server ask if we were all set. I showed her the grease running down the plate and she handed me the bill. I contemplated asking them to comp the whole check but I didn’t. How can a server who relies in tips not show this to management? Never again will I step foot in here, this is the third horrible experience at this establishment.

Service is top notch, food is great. Only issue I have is the prices are very high.

Pros: sports on the tube, beer.
Cons bartender’s attitude was extremely off-​putting. Watched the game but felt like the bartender was annoyed that I was even there.
Overall, poor experience. Wished I were at Buffalo wild wings, but they were packed for a fight on the tube. Should have realized why tilted kilt had available seating…

Typical crappy chain restaurant. Second time going and it blows! Only reason we go because it’s the closet place to offer the Rhonda fight. The bartenders especially the girl with glasses is extremely rude and unpleasant. Food is ok.

Last night I visited during the height of rush hour just to get off the highway as a brief respite. After sitting at the bar, I was completely ignored for a period of 20 minutes. No fewer than 4 barmaids were behind the bar. 3 of them passed by me multiple times. Clueless. They seemed to be more intent on several one-​on-​one conversations with male patrons than noticing a parched guy in a suit sitting and waiting. The fourth seemed to be a manager or (horror) an owner who was engaged in conversation with one specific client in the corner for a long time. I’m guessing this because she was out of uniform but behind the bar. It was so bad, the 2 guys near me commented that they never anything like it. While this was happening several individual guys sat at the bar and were promptly served. I don’t hang at this place so they don’t even know me. But I do tip well.
I should have walked out but was thirsty. I walked up to the waitress station on the opposite side of the bar where one of the «bartenders» was hanging and chatting with a patron and ordered a drink. Served immediately. As I stood up enjoying my cocktail she suggested I «grab a seat at the bar. You’ll be more comfortable.» Are you kidding??? Bar purgatory??? I stood, feet planted at that waitress station and even ordered another.
Only drawback was I had intended to order an appetizer and dinner but the waitress station probably isn’t the place to eat Buffalo Wings! So I left spending $ 20 and steaming instead of spending $ 100 and happy.
I’ve tended bar in Boston in the past and I’ve enjoyed the Tilted Kilt experience in other USA cities-​San Diego being my favorite. This franchise has deep rooted personnel problems. This usually relates to lax ownership. I can’t see it lasting unless they call «Bar Rescue».

My Irish Dip was so small it shoulda been labeled as a slider, not a sandwich. And the service sucks — my beer has been empty for 15 minutes and still no sign of the so called «waitress». Absolutely pathetic excuse for a pub.

Wings were below average. Burger was undercooked. Bad food and waitresses with revealing outfits.

This place is fun!
We capped off a day of mini golfing and go-​karting with dinner at Tilted Kilt on a quiet Sunday evening. It was our first time, and we’ll definitely be back.
«Ye Olde Pub”-style décor is really cozy and inviting. I’d love for a room in my house to look like this.
Food was better than expected. Irish Nachos are kettle chips, ingeniously topped with cheese, ground beef and diced tomato. Avocado-​bacon and Black & Bleu burgers were juicy and delicious, as were the accompanying plain fries and garlic fries. Love that they provide malt vinegar at the table. Only bone to pick is that the burgers were cooked medium-​well rather than medium-​rare, but what do you really expect at a casual chain? Cocktails decently priced.
Last, but certainly not least, the girls are sweethearts. Super warm, friendly, perky, adorable, sugar, spice, and everything nice. Happy to pull up a chair and chat if it’s not too busy. And let’s be honest the view ain’t bad either.
If this place «embarrasses» you, you probably need to get over yourself.

Had a great experience! Wonderful staff especially Tiffany was very pleasant and always making conversation in between serving other guests. All of the girls are pleasant and very nice and respectful I am there every Friday with my Harley buddies. We always make sure to go and see Tiffany very personable and very nice! Would definitely recommend to try the establishment and ask for Tiffany!

Not a good dining experience at all. Bartender spent more time joking and fooling around with the other waitstaff, it took her 20 min to notice us when there was only 4 other people at the bar. Spent way to much time on her cellphone while we waited for another beer. Food was just average at best. Only positive was decent beer selection on draft. Otherwise completely overrated. Management needs to fix the entire staff.

5 stars to Tiffany. Not only beautiful but very good bartender. Too bad the owners need to figure out why they get 2.5 stars. The staff can be outstanding like Tiffany but if shit falls apart around her the whole thing fails. Hey owners… If you can’t figure it out get a restaurant intervention. You need a Gordon Ramsey. Or ask Tiffany your employees know what’s wrong. Did you ever think to ask them? Try it you will learn more than you think from your best employees. Drinks were good. Food okay. Get beyond your 2.5 stars.

Not a big fan.
The bartender didn’t let me know the specials. Took very long for them to acknowledge that I was there. Not too friendly. She seemed like she was disturbed when she had to take an order.
I should’ve listened to my inner voice and gone to Hooters.
Then to listen to the townies conversation at the end of the put the icing on the cake. Every regular barstool renter has a comment about everything

I went here one night with my dad and step mother. I knew that this place was kind of like a hooters gone Irish, but wasn’t sure what to expect. Kind of awkward watching my father drool over young girls who are dressed so trashy but I’m sure the drunk guys on a Saturday night really dig it.
Anyways, the nachos were bangin. I also ordered the kraken, which is kraken rum and some tropical liquor, made strong and got me feelin right on one.
Not sure if I’d ever go back. Im just not into that.

OOOps. Thought this was a real restaraunt. Did not know it was a strip club wanna be. The girls and I from work walked in, saw how they dressed the liitle girls that work their and walked out. Gross.

This was our first visit to this location. The food was good, the service was prompt and pleasant, and the atmosphere was exactly what you’d expect and want from a Tilted Kilt. We’ll be back the next time we’re in the area.

We arrived at the Tilted Kilt, and were immediately greeted by a pair of breasts. Then we followed another pair of breasts which commanded us to sit at a table. Breasts flew by us by the pair as we sat down.
At times, the breasts started to talk, asking us if we wanted something to eat or drink… quite odd — I didn’t know breasts could prepare food, let alone talk. But lo and behold, a few minutes later, a bunch of food and drinks hovering in front of even more breasts arrived at our table. Amazing — the breasts spilled nary a drop, nor let any food hit the floor. As a matter of fact, breasts were often seen around the restaurant doing various cleaning chores.
The breasts did their best to share their love of ice hockey as we watched it on TV, but when the name «Warren Glitzky» was uttered to describe the greatest player of all time, it was clear that they were trying a little too hard to get our attention. Still, they were very large, and perky, and apparently covered in some sort of topical shine-​enhancing agent.
Then the breasts demanded to be paid for their services, so we did. The breasts jiggled goodbye to us as we headed for the door.
Overall, it’s one of the breast experiences you can have in Wethersfield.

Good food, slow service.
We came in at lunch time and it wasn’t overly busy. It took a bit of time for drinks to come out and to place orders. Food was slow to come out and I didn’t get silverware.
Waitstaff was cute and friendly, we had the best looking one though! ;)
I ordered a chicken wrap with onion rings and it was delicious:) My husband got the Shepard’s Pie and was quite happy with it:) Friends got garlic parm cheese fries, fish n chips, stew, a burger and steak and cheese.
I’m not normally in the area but if I am we may come back or check out the other location.

We go there quite often to see Tiffany Amber, she’s been a local bartender for years & great! Waitress’s are ok on the eyes… Bartenders. Are breathe taking. Food is good, huge beer selections. Tiffany Amber has them all memoriezed test her!
Not a fan at night time. Girls are too busy talking to each other, food. Is. Cold ECt… So we just stick to days! Maybe I’m just spoiled !
The girls work hard give them some credit.

I can’t see the attraction with places like these. Former coworker chose this place to catch up. Food was eh, service was eh, and waitress outfits were terrible.
Hope I never get to the point when I find places like this acceptable.
