I tried the Fresh Monkee for the first time this morning. Walking in, I have to say I did not expect what I saw. Cozy chairs in a sitting area, a small radio playing in the corner, refreshing air conditioning. The very friendly girl behind the counter helped me to decide which flavor to try. When I told her it’s my first time, she explained how it works, what the sizes are. Behind me was a regular customer, I assume, since they knew each other. I didn’t feel rushed, and the shake I ordered is amazing. This is the kind of place I love to visit. Everyone should try it! Except not this one, this one is mine and I don’t want waves of customers blocking me from more of these delicious shakes.

I really tried to like this place, the first time I went it was extremely bland and watered down and also poorly blended. I figured I’d give it another shot because maybe I just had bad luck. Nope same deal the next time I went. Highly disappointed. Probably won’t give it a third chance.

Single-​handedly one of my favorite juice spots that is also vegan friendly. Whenever I’m around the area I have to stop in. I’m able to get in and get out pretty fast. Pricing for juice is fairly less then some of the other places I go to. If you’re into raw and all things organic this is the place. Or if you’re a juice junkie like me, fresh monkee does not disappoint.

Came here for a meal replacement shake for lunch. Big menu, and my shake was delicious. Appropriate prices, $ 6 for 24oz shake, and $ 7.50 for 32oz. I would come here again.

The caramel coffee buzz and the regular coffee buzz are my favorite shakes! The chunkee monkee is also one of my favorites. I go here after the gym on Saturday mornings. I wish they were open later on the weekdays so I can visit after the gym. Great shakes and great service!

Stop in here after work the other day to pick up a smoothie since I had errands to run and wouldn’t be having dinner till late.
The staff member was very helpful and friendly. She happily answered all my questions.
Having read the reviews before going I knew they had a 24oz smoothie size, even though it was not on the menu nor did the staff mention it.
I got the 24oz smores smoothie with almond milk. It was good but had a little chalky taste from the protein powder.
Please note the menu doesn’t include prices and since I only got the 24oz I was thinking it would be around $ 4 something. Boy was I wrong. The reason I am giving them only 3 stars is mainly because I feel though the smoothie was good it was not worth the $ 6 and change price tag.
While I did enjoy my smoothie at that price I don’t think I will be back.

I come here at least once a week! Definitely worth my 20 minute drive! The shakes are amazing, perfect meal replacement and Reasonably priced compared to others! Staff is always welcoming and friendly! Definitely a must try:)

The shop itself is very cute and refreshing. The concept is great but seemed to be not fully followed through with. The menu does not include prices, so I was SHOCKED to find that my shake came to $ 8. Ridiculous. Pretty bland in flavor, seems that what they use is almond milk and quest bars. You could make it yourself at home for WAY CHEAPER! was disappointed after all the hype.

It’s a cute spot and the ingredients were super fresh. Sadly, both smoothies I’ve had were totally disgusting. I don’t like chocolate or peanut butter and those smoothies seem to be their strength. I had the apple juice smoothie and it was bland and boring. Today, I had the berry smoothie and it was truly awful. Maybe there was too much spinach. Maybe too much of the vegan protein (though I have used it before and liked it well enough), but it was inedible.

Went to Fresh Monkee today with my mom. I got the Chunkee Monkee ! The drink was so fresh, the best thing about this place they make it right in front of you. I definitely recommend everyone to try for a quick healthy drink!

I cannot get enough of these shakes. They use fresh ingredients and have options for the type of milk you want. There a menu or you can create your own. My two favorites are the chunky monkee and the hazelnut monkee. As a meal replacement I am always full. The size and price are good. These are also not your typical smoothie. They are light and frothy. I normally suck mine down before I’m out of the parking lot. The owner and employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. This has been a great additional to Wethersfield!

Glad Wethersfield has a place like this. I went in for the first time this week. They have a list of different smoothie and juice options, and also make it easy to customize your own. The staff was knowledgable about the ingredients.
I decided to make my own with the vegan protein and was very happy with it. The size of the shake is huge (even for a meal replacement) and price is very good considering the amount you get.

Judy is super nice and Fresh Monkee is a cute spot on the Silas Deane Highway. There is a tiny but cozy seating area towards the entrance where I envision post-​workout dates being held. I had been a few times for juices and smoothies but haven’t been in a while. My favorite juice from there is a blend of apple, pineapple, beet, carrot, and kale.
I love that drinks can be customizable but there is also a list of smoothies with pre-​selected ingredients like The Ultimate Green, Key Lime Tart, Peanut Butter Jelly Time, etc. from which to choose. Juices are based on available of fresh fruit and veggies. Now that there are multiple sizes to choose from I’ll be back!

So freaking good! As other have pointed out, these are not smoothies made with some barrel of sludge from a factory or a bunch of artificial flavors and colors. They are made fresh with real ingredients when you order them. The owner is extremely nice and helpful and the vibe is relaxing a welcoming. Every smoothie I have had here has been fantastic. In addition, they stock all manner of nutritional supplements as well. Portions are huge and you could certainly have a Fresh Monkey smoothie as a meal if you get one with protein. Okay, stop reading and just go there. You’ll thank me.

Hooray! Finally, the juicy smoothie movement has made its way to Hartford area! This spot is awesome! It is right in the middle of busy Wethersfield, and offers a variety of super fresh, made on the spot juices and smoothies. I ordered the special of the day, Watermelon Mint juice, which is so simple, and so refreshing. The cups are huge and the prices are extremely fair. The place is small, and there might be a line, but good things are worth waiting for. Cheers to the Monkee!!!

Wonderful spot for fresh juices & smoothies! All natural, not a fake sugary syrup drink. Prices are great & the drink cups are huge. Hours on Unilocal are wrong, Unilocal says Saturday open until 12, but they are actually open until 5. So glad I found this new place.
