Empire Pizza

I tried this place for the first and last time last night. I was with several friends, and we decided to order from Empire because we had a coupon for a party-​sized pizza, another regular sized pizza, and a bottle of soda for around $ 25.
When the delivery person came to our house, he was on his iPhone FaceTiming with someone. He basically only spoke to the girl he was on the phone with, and didn’t speak to me much at all. He hands me the party-​sized pizza and soda, and I give him our coupon and cash. He glances at the coupon, mumbles «I don’t need this», and tosses it on the ground. Very unprofessional manner of dealing with a customer, if you ask me… refusing to speak with a customer and littering on my yard?
It doesn’t end there. I turn around to hand the very large pizza box and soda to a friend (since I couldn’t deal with the cash and the box at the same time), and just as I realize our second pizza is missing, he’s already in his car driving away.
We ended up calling the store again, and they refused to give us our second pizza. They claimed we misread the coupon, and we only get a single party-​sized pizza, instead of two pizzas. They were no help at trying to resolve a miscommunication, caused by their poor wording on their own coupon. It didn’t help that the person on the phone was very difficult to understand, but I realize that’s not completely his fault.
My friends and I will NOT be ordering from here again, after the incredibly poor customer service and the dismal behavior of their delivery person.

Worst place to order they pick up the order wrong and they charged a lot. If you call them for the items that it’s missing they get upset and rude

DO NOT EAT HERE! I will never order food from this establishment ever again. I ordered an sausage pepper and egg grinder and half way through all of a sudden I had a mouth full of crunch, and began spitting out pieces, of what looks like white ceramic or glass. I called back obviously angry, and they did not care in the least! Just told me it was impossible and there was nothing they would do. I am absolutely appalled with their service. I wonder what the health dept feels about glass in people’s food

I tied this place again recently and my experience was not good. I ordered a chicken parm dinner. Delivery was fast and the food was hot.
The chicken was NOT fresh chicken breast, it was processed chicken that was frozen before hand. I was not happy at all!
This is not acceptable by any measure, it in essence was a giant chicken nugget covered in sauce and cheese!
No future business from me.

We used to get A LOT of pizza from Empire. Birthday parties, get-​togethers, Friday night pizza. You name the occasion. The kids each had their favorites so we’d get 4 – 5 different ones. The Buffalo Chicken and Philly Cheesesteak pizzas were favorites. I’m not sure what happened but within the past 6 – 8 months the ownership or management changed and the guys who used take care of us were no longer there. I gave them 2 stars because they are still friendly but the pizza isn’t anywhere near as good as it used to be.

Terrible service! The food is not bad at all but I will never go back. We ordered lunch a few times in the past month and they have messed up the order every single time with no remorse. Ridiculous.

We use to live in Connecticut and when we go back, we are always certain to visit Empire Pizza. It’s a smaller, casual pizza place but their menu is huge and everything is tasty and priced well. Our usual order is the buffalo chicken pizza, garlic bread with cheese, and a side salad. Depending on their coupon– that we use to find in Valumail– you can get a great meal for under $ 30.
Definitely worth a try!

We were in the immediate area and came across this small pizzeria and purchased 2 slices of cheese pizza. The crust and topping was pretty decent. I would return if I found myself in the same area again, but would not go out of my way.
