Whataburger

Slow service.

I’ve never been a fan of Whataburger before. I’d been stricken ill after consuming some of their menu items when I was in my 20’s so I just stopped eating there altogether for many many years.
When they put in this new (ish) location by our house I wasn’t particularly happy about it since I’d not eaten at a Whataburger in so many years but my daughter is a night owl so often she will get something from them late in the night.
I decided to give them a try again after all the years and they are pretty good. They’ll never take anything away from my favorite place (Burger Street), but they are pretty good. And you can do much worse if you are hungry in the middle of the night.
This particular location also has some of the nicest people I’ve every come across in a drive-​thru window. Always friendly, always courteous, and always attentive. Were there a set of awards for drive-​thru staff, these folks would be in heavy contention. I wonder what we could call an award ceremony for drive-​thru attendants?
Sorry, veered off track. Bottom line, if you’re hungry and it’s late, you could do worse. And you’ll likely be greeted by some very nice people if you do choose to come here and grab a late-​night bite.

I’m never a big fan of breakfast type foods, so I’m happy there is a place to satisfy my random 7am burger cravings, or any other time cravings. Fries are always hot, which is part of my low requirements when it comes to fast food.

I asked for a sausage bob… Apparently it’s only a down south slang, old habits die hard. Love their breakfast on a bun; sausages, eggs and cheese on a burger bun.

This location was built a few years ago and in a very convenient location. The Whataburger combo is what I usually order and they cook it very good here. The only thing is they don’t seem to understand the definition of «Light Mustard.» It seems almost every time I order a burger with light mustard, they continue to put a significant amount on. I started ordering no mustard at all and I put my own amount of mustard on my burger. That is my only complaint about the service other than that they are very friendly here.

Drive thru took 15 before the Order was brought out… This is the worst drive thru in the history of fast food… the manager April did not help

Okay, Maybe It’s Just Me, But This Particular Location Blows! I Rarely Eat Burgers. I Do Like Their Burgers A Lot, They’re A Bit Pricey, And They Are Worth It. My Problem Is At Nights! I’ve Been To This Location During The Afternoons And Evenings, No Problem! Late Nights On The Other Hand, Always A Problem! In The Past 6 Months, I’ve Been Here About 4 – 5 Times, Problem, Everytime! Who Ever The Manager Or Shift Leader Is, Has No Idea How To Run Their Shift. The Food Always Takes Too Damn Long. And Everytime I Go, I’m Sitting There Waiting On My Food For Nearly 20 Minutes. And I Get Small Orders Too. How Long Does It Take To Put A Burger Together? Who Ever This Manager Is, Needs Another Job. And I’ve Noticed That If You Say Something To Them About, They Go And Get The Manager, Then He/​She Will Give You A Free Pie And Some Free Food Coupons! But Anyways, I Don’t Like This What-​A-​Burger Late Nights! Only Reason I Go This Late, Everywhere Else Is Closed This Late. But Again, I Don’t Eat Burgers Too Often. And Yeah, This Particular What-​A-​Burger Sucks Late At Nights! Stay Away

Waited over 20 minutes for food and that was using the time on the receipt. When the server brought over the food and apologized for the wait, we then heard the manager tell her that she was not to apologize for the wait because they were going as fast as they could. Very sad, good employee bad management. When someone in the back recommended opening the second grill the manager said she did not want to mess up that area.

For a place that is supposedly fast food, they were not fast at all. It took 30 minutes for me to get my food, and it was drive-​thru too. The drive-​thru is supposed to be even quicker than usual. Also, they burned my toast. Not happy with my experience here at all.

Service was great food arrive quickly and fresh. Every body had a smile and wanted to help out.

Horrible service. The girl acted like it was a chore for her to bring us ketchup. Then she comes back with two… really? Who uses one ketchup on their large fries? When I asked for some spicy ketchup, the girl made a grunt sound and brought 2 back. I was hoping she would ask if there was anything else we needed, but alas she did not. I had to go scrounge up some napkins and pepper. What happened to bringing the tray around?
Meanwhile, the manager or person in charge was talking quite loudly to the Hispanic worker as though talking louder helps him understand English better… about getting breakfast trays ready. While her voice was perky, the words coming out of her loud mouth were rude.
My fiancé and I wondered why it was so dead… chances are, everyone already knows about the poor service and rude staff. I won’t be coming back. I’d rather drive all the way to White Settlement for Whataburger. Or just settle for some Sonic.
On the food — the burger was EXTRA greasy… unlike any other Whataburger I’ve had. And the fries were luke warm. It’s not like the place was busy… there were two other people there and they were done eating…
