It took two months but I finally received my results, there was a mistake on my email so that cost me an extra month but I’m not counting that in the two month wait. The results seem easy enough to figure out. I would recommend having a backup sample in case things do get lost and keep an eye on your credit card statement because that’s how you’ll know they have (hopefully) received it. No crazy mold detected in my apartment yay!

I wished I had found this site BEFORE making a radon test kit purchase. I sent in my samples and 4 weeks later, still nothing. Customer service is the worst and you are out of your test kit money; Home Depot should be chastised for selling into this scam. Caveat Emptor!

WATCH OUT!!! This companies email does not work (bounces back) and they do not answer there phones or return messages. I have tried to contact them for the past 6 days via phone at l different times during the day. They DO NOT ANSWER in ANY DEPARTMENT! I got so tired of leaving messages that I finally thought I would go ahead and email the company, So, I went to the website and sent an email to them, it bounced back within minutes. So, I tried to email them again through another email I have, it bounced back this morning.
What a SCAM, I had testing done by some company local to me, they sent the samples to this place for processing, and I can’t even get someone to answer a few questions about my results.
BBB Here I come!

I moved into a new «Money Pit «this past June and it took us a whole month to get this place in living condition. After the 2^nd month I noticed a brown spot beginning to protrude from the freshly painted walls in the master bedroom. Then the black blotches appeared. Insert drumroll here. … I did some cold calling and was recommended to this Prolab self home test kit. I performed the test as the directions stated and even before I mailed out the petri dish I knew we had a problem. (Growth on the dish overnight.) I mailed my dish in with a $ 40.00 check and within 21 days I received the results by email. I had no calling issues or result issues. Will recommend to others if situation arises. I highly recommend seeking other remedies if your results come back positive. Keep in mind this is a test lab only and they will not recommend or refer you to a mold removal specialist. A+

This company is horrible and unreliable and on the verge of being fraudulent. I purchased a radon kit from a home depot and followed all of the instructions exactly per the kit. I mailed the kit in and kept checking the status on line to see what the results were yet the website kept stating they never received the envelop. I mailed the kit exactly 96 hours after the radon tubes were exposed in my basement, mailed in their self addressed stamped provided envelop, put in a check for $ 30.00 and after 3 weeks went by they still stated per their site they never received it. I called several times and left messages, no call backs. I finally got a hold of someone and they stated that they never received the kit and that I should purchase another one and follow the steps all over again and resend in. HELLO? Radon causes cancer and I have to go through all of these steps again? I finally received an email after 4 weeks where they stated that they received the test kit yet it was past the dates that they allowed to do a test so it was invalid. They then cashed my check and told me to purchase another kit and resend in with another $ 30. NOT. I have emailed 3 times asking for a refund, no response. I have called and left messages 3 times, no response. This company is fraudulent and would never recommend to anyone. I filed a complaint with the Florida Attorney Generals office. I am hoping to get a refund and get this company closed for good DO NOT USE.

Basically had the exact same isue as Lori G. Wish I had come here before I bought it!
I bought the product at Home Depot so I figured this company must be reputable, but this place is a total fraud. Cashed my check– never ran my test and have been giving me the run around for over 6 weeks! They consistently claim only one person in the entire company can approve refudns and of course he is always out of town!
I encourae anyone else who has had this same problem to write to Home Depot or wherever you bought it. I am going to make sure Home Depot is aware of the Unilocal reviews (all of which I notice are 1 star!) and their «F» rating with the BBB.

Worst company ever. Scamers cashed check and i payed for extra expediting cost. Plus next day air. Never received results. Called three times every time said they would get them out right away. Probably not even my kit if I ever get results. Similar reviews on other sites. Shame on me for not researching better.

Never heard back from them after buying their test kit. You have to call and leave several messages. Finally got ahold of someone and found out they had emailed the results instead of mailing them, and that they had gotten the email address wrong, but never bothered to follow up.
Given the seriousness of their tests they should use the mailing address and phone numbers in the order form as well to follow up with their customers. Especially when they know they’ve gotten a bounced email from their bad data entry.
Even after I got the test results I had to do some additional research to understand what the results meant. They should give some guidance or additional reference material for folks looking to understand the results.
