We come here once in a while for the buffet. The atmosphere is not the best, but the food is good. Overall, I wish the food was a bit spicier, a bit more flavorful, and a little less sweet. I’d like to see other paneer options on the buffet besides saag paneer. The beers from their microbrewery are good.

I love their lunch buffet and come here almost once a week. The food is delicious and at a good price. There is plenty of flavor and i love the way they have so much selection compared to the other lunch buffet options at other restauraunts. One side of the buffet is completely vegan and although im a big meat lover their vegan food tastes as good as if it has meat in it. The naan bead they being out is always fresh and soft and delicious and tastes delicious by itself, swooping all your food ir dipping in the chutney. I tey not to eat too much of it though because it is very filling. Also they have alot more dessert offerings than any other Indian buffet i been to.

Absolutely LOVE the food at Yak & Yeti. Best Indian food we(my husband and I) ever get, and we get it often. We usually get take out. The service usually isn’t that great/friendly, but they get the order correct and the food is amazing. My husband enjoys the buffet when we do eat in, but I’m a vegan, so I always order off the menu. LOTS of vegan options, YAY!

Decent food at a good value. Your experience here won’t blow you away, but you also won’t leave disappointed.

The overly priced dinner buffet made my rating a 2, if I had based it solely on the lunch buffet it would have been 3. I’ve been eating the buffet here for 2 years at least and it’s gone from really good to just so-so, quality wise. There is never anything different on the buffet and on 3 occasions recently the chicken dishes had so many shards of bone in them, that I couldn’t eat it. We always go for lunch but decided to go for dinner once thinking there’d be different options, nope! Everything was exactly the same as the lunch except for a higher price and that’s annoying especially when they leave things empty or barely any left. The service is always hit or miss… I cant say I’ll never go back quite yet but I’m becoming increasingly disappointed.

By far, this Yak and Yeti(the original) is my favorite Indian restaurant in Denver. Their buffet is always fresh and packed full of people, great beers(they have won for their IPA at GABF!) wonderful chai, and hands down .Denver. Creamy, fresh, and vibrantly green, it hits the spot every single time. Obviously I am a saag girl but I always get vindaloo along with it, the acidity of the vindaloo is perfect with the creaminess of the saag. And when you say hot, they really make it spicy! Unlike the Arvada location of this restaurant, which is technically closer to me, you can tell the kitchen staff and front of house alike are committed to serving the best Indian they possibly can. I really can’t say anything negative about this place. I have visited this restaurant over a dozen times and have always had the same smiling, consistent service and food. Downtown restaurants could take a page from their book!

Buffet was good. Not as good as the jewel of India — Some items cold– Some items too recycled– Good but they can do better.

During my visit to Yak & Yeti, I spent most of the time trying to figure out how they had so many 5 star reviews. I know that sounds very negative, but it is the truth. I requested a booster seat for my daughter as soon as we were being seated. They never brought it to us even though we asked twice. It’s a bit difficult to try to contain a 2 year old that doesn’t have a seat to sit in. A server other than our original server asked us if we were doing okay. We then asked for a water for our child. They then proceed to bring us a coke. After telling our server that we didn’t order a coke she then goes to get the guy that asked us if we wanted anything. What the hell! Why not just take the drink we didn’t order and bring us the kids water. I felt as if she didn’t believe what we were saying. The food just wasn’t that great either. I was truly expecting to taste«my new favorite restaurant» type of food, based on the reviews that I was reading. On the plus side, they did have many vegetarian options! Overall, I would not recommend this place.

I went here on New Year’s Day and had a really wonderful experience. No vegan options on their buffet, but they have some really delicious(and big! And cheap!) menu selections and I didn’t mind«having» to choose from their menu at all :) Also, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! I was really impressed and am definitely coming back!

Pretty decent indian lunch buffet: it’s a little spendier than some without being that much more exceptional but it’s conveniently ‘on the way.’

I love Indian buffets but usually they are only available at lunchtime. They have a dinner buffet here! Lots and lots to sample, plus some salad stuff, different kinds of rice, many vegetarian items, soup, and dessert. I absolutely loved unlimited samosas and pakoras plus gulab jamon. The service was fantastic, so very fast. I can’t wait to come back for lunch.

Great place to eat at. I sometimes drive all the way from Boulder just to eat here or on my way back to Boulder from the airport. Great food indeed. The waiters there are not necessarily friendly, but that’s just the cultural difference. They are kind of neutral and keep to themselves which is fine by me.

I’m writing this review on behalf of Hubs as he’s the BIG Indian food fan in our home. With out question, he went straight for the buffet & seemed all too pleased with his decision. I stuck with the chicken soup. Service was incredibly friendly even as we walked in as soon as the lunch buffet was winding down. The food was still pretty fresh from what he could tell. I was a little bummed by bowl of soup came from the buffet line, but, eh, what are you really gonna do about it? Hubs had at least 3 plates with various curries and rices. The biggest downside(for me especially): naan. It wasn’t very soft or warm when we got it. A little bummed that it was so hard within 5 min!

Wow! This place has awesome service! Our server was incredibly friendly and helpful. He let us sample their chai and also brought out complimentary crackers! The garlic naan was really tasty. The naan was on the sweeter side, but oh-so soft and warm! The Alu Gobi(medium spice) was pretty flavorful, had a bit more oil than I expected, but the potatoes and cauliflowers were cooked to perfection. I tried a bit of the Sweet Potato Masala(medium spice), and found it to be really yummy! The dish was sweeter overall, but had a small bit of luck to it. One thing I did notice was that the server assumed that we were doing the buffet, so if you’re planning on doing the regular dine-in, flag ‘em down and let them know you want a regular menu.

A couple friends hosted me and another friend while we in Colorado for a few days. We wanted to take them out for dinner as a thank you. One of them is a vegan so it was difficult finding a place but this Indian place fit the bill. They really push the dinner buffet. The server was surprised when two of us said we wanted to look at a menu. I ordered a mango lasso which was so good! The sweet potato masala was delicious. I chose not to do the buffet bc I really only wanted one thing and wasn’t overly hungry. Those who got the buffet got their money’s worth. The place is decorated very colorfully and has a fun vibe. Was a fun dinner.

Indian and Nepalese food. They push the buffet. It is ok but not items I wanted. Had curry chicken. It was tasty but chicken was not great. Thought there was a lot of fat and skin on chicken pieces. Service was weak. Had to describe 3 times for regular black tea. Best for buffet and no service. Check out items first though. I will not go back

This is probably the best spot for Indian buffet in Westminster. Quite a few items are on display and they really take care of vegetarians as their potato Somosas are amazing. Their naan is also hot out of the oven and unlimited so you get your fill whenever you go! Their veggie curries are what I usually get seconds on, especially the cauliflower. There’s also a nice 20% off coupon for all those bargain hunters out there!

This was the first place I thought of to go to when my boyfriend suggested that we eat Indian food for lunch. I love this place because they have a buffet for both lunch and dinner. The lunch buffet is ~$ 11 and the dinner is ~$ 15, very reasonably in my opinion since it’s all you can eat. The lunch buffet had a great variety of curry like chicken curry, tikka masala curry(can’t go wrong with this one), sweet potato masala and more. They also have white rice, yellow rice, and naan for you to eat with they curry. The naan here is absolutely to die for! It comes made fresh and isn’t super oily like some of the naans I’ve had elsewhere. I also really like their desserts, especially the banana pakora and mango custard. Yak and Yeti is also a brewpub so they’ve got selections of beer like the Himalayan ale and Chai milk stout.

Yummy Tibetan food for the vegan and carnivore alike. The buffet is pristine. Better than most southern Asian sit down restaurants and top shelf microbrews!!! Great date place!
