great little place to grab a drink… the atmosphere is great, the drinks are reasonably priced, and the service is just a little below average.

Love this place. Great food, great atmosphere, easy going environment, great Irish bar that is an alternative to all the typical choices in the area.

Such a cool atmosphere! I stopped in with my husband for lunch and ordered the Irish Stew. It was amazing! I hear they have live music sometimes as well so we will definitely be coming back soon.

So, we’ve been missing being brunch regulars and headed back in. Sadly, they seems to have downgraded on staff. When we entered I told our host(young, teenage lad) that we would love to have a booth, and that we had seen one in the back. I also mentioned that we’d be willing to wait for a booth. He said, «I’m sorry, I just seated that server and need to try and go by the rotation.» He vaguely gestured other seating nearer to the front. There were two booths available so I assumed he meant one of those and said, «Ok, I understand.» He then lead us to a table. I said, as kindly as possible, «I’m really sorry but we were very clear that a booth is our strong preference. Can you seat us at a booth?» He then stammered through the rotation explanation again and then tried to tell me why we HAD to sit at this table. I said, «I’m sorry, but no. We’d rather not and I think we made our request clear.» He tried one more time at which point we were frustrated. Then he lead us to a booth, but was very huffy and snotty about it. At that point, we didn’t want to stay and went next door for breakfast rather than have him treating us rudely. I get that our request was inconvenient, but since we had mentioned we’d prefer to wait for a booth, and since we have reasons for making this request, and since we were pleasant about it, having him try to force us to be seated otherwise and then being rude about it was very disappointing service.

Came in for Sunday brunch. We made a reservation for the 6 of us, but definitely didn’t need it. Our waitress was very friendly and remembered my mom even though she hadn’t been in for a long time. I ordered the french toast and was content. It wasn’t anything incredible, and you only get one slice of bread, cut in half. With the eggs, and hash browns I was full. Other people at the table ordered the breakfast sandwich, breakfast burrito, pancakes, and eggs benedict. Everyone was happy. I don’t think this is really a place I would rush back to for brunch, but it’s a good option for a quick bite.

Eh…11 $ for a small fried tortilla with a small amount of chicken and cheese masked by letuce?! I might have paid $ 5 for this had I was given the choice. I thought this place was supposed to be an upscale restaurant?!? Others in our party ordered dishes with coleslaw, yet somehow they made coleslaw with out any dressing. Yeah, won’t be back.

Really delicious breakfast. Had the hungry Irishman with pumpernickel toast. The green chili was amazing it was very flavorful but not overly spicy. My wife has steak and eggs that were cooked perfect. She didn’t even need to use steak sauce. Their spicy bloody marry is to die for.

It was ok, but not GREAT. The waffles and chicken were, though. But the place was empty on like a Sunday night but they packed all their patrons into this tiny room … so you couldn’t even get up to go to the bathroom. It was strange. Their Guiness mixers were not tasty, and the whole deal was pretty expensive for what it was. But it was alright I guess.

Wednesday night is trivia night. Starts at 7. We didn’t know that but had a great time. We didn’t play but it seemed fun. We ordered a local beer and a lady that was a rep for them brought us stickers to thank us for buying their beer. Boom. So far so good. We ordered the honey siratcha wings and a Ruben with fries. Food took no time to come out. Wings were a very good combination of spicy and sweet. House ranch and blue cheese to compliment the wings. Great food item. As for the Ruben. I’ve never had one and it was amazing. Since I don’t have a Ruben to compare it’s hard to say but I really enjoyed that one. 4 beers. Wings and Ruben later our bill was only $ 35 plus tip. Not too bad either. Great time here!!!

Not a fan. We’ve been here several times now and found the food to be decent but the service is spotty. Last time were there we wound up having a legitimate issue with our bill but when we spoke with the manager she was rude and condescending. We won’t be going back.

Went here to try someplace new for dinner and found a great new pub to frequent! Has a pub atmosphere & modern décor with ample seating choices. The Fire pit outside looked particularly interesting for a colder day. Was surprised at the novel nightly special which was a burger with a Krispy Kreme donut as the bun, definitely a strange item that I’ve never seen anywhere else. Needless to say, I wasn’t brave enough to try it this time. Ordered the Honey Sriracha Wings with both ranch and bleu cheese dressing to start. They were perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, mouth wateringly tender on the inside. The main dish of Fish and Chips was excellent too, with Ketchup, Tartar Sauce, and the classic Malt Vinegar, plus coleslaw on the side. Very good quality fish too! The beer selection and«Black Menu» were great as well. We were lucky to go during Octoberfest and tried the Octoberfest Marzen, which was amazing! Also tried the«Black Coffee» Guiness and Kahlua mix off the Black Menu. As an extra bonus for checking in, I got a «Baby Guiness» shot(Bailey’s & Kahlua w/a splash of Guiness). Would definitely go again!

After seeing such a long line for the Early Bird, I decided to try The Exchange Tavern for breakfast. Compared to the Early Bird, there was no wait, plenty of seating, better pricing(under $ 10 a plate), and really nice and personal service. I had basic eggs, croissant, and hash browns with a side order of bacon. They were all really good and the croissant was delicious. They have endless coffee/cream and keep the cups full and the coffee itself is local and organic. My friend had some contraption with eggs, green chile, Canadian bacon and bread. I forget the name but he loved it. Sadly, the Early Bird has been inconsistent in the last few visits in both food and service(from awful to really good 5 star service) but they always have a line and you’re paying double the price. Instead, give the low key Exchange Tavern a try for breakfast. If you’re like me, you will enjoy another option for meals. I will be back to try lunch and dinner too.

After a less than stellar visit a few weeks ago(they were apparently horribly short-staffed), we decided to give it another shot. The service was excellent, the people were friendly and overall we had a great time. Would visit again in the future, this place is great! I had the hash and eggs, it was wonderful.

To address the drinks & tip — the drinks had nothing to do with the HORRIBLE meal!!! The tip was because the service was good despite the AWFULFOOD!!! Of course we are NOTWILLING to come back EVER — move on folks, this place is disgusting!!!

I’ve always had a love hate relationship with this place but over the past few months it’s gone down hill. Great back patio!!! A great place to have a drink alone or with friends. The fire pit out back is great as the air gets cooler. The food is okay– it’s mediocre at best. Nothing on this menu I would rave about. The service– we love the floor staff. Usually great and attentive. The day bartender is also great. The evening bartender is AWFUL. He is rude, inattentive, if you get a drink from him good luck getting another. Let alone your tab to get out of there. Why is the day bartender who is awesome not on evenings!!!

Love grabbing a bite and a beer here, great selection of beer and delicious food. The flatbread pizzas are delish and I really like the Ruben. Our server Gabby took great care of us, defiantly an awesome spot

One of the best brunches I had since moving from Northern Virginia! The only reason I give it a 4 star rating is because I wouldn’t consider the menu to be completely authentic Irish food, but the taste makes up for it! I had the the Pork Belly, Belgium Waffle and eggs and every bite was fantastic. Poached my eggs exactly the way I like them and the waffle was so light and crispy I didn’t want it to end! We had a very nice server as well, Gabby. She gave us recommendations that we enjoyed. My husband had the Steak & Eggs and loved every bite! Highly recommend the Guinness Latte they created in house!

Big fan of the brunch here. They have everything you’d want for breakfast PLUS alcohol. The Bloody Mary is outstanding and is on my personal Top 5 list. They are nice and spicy and taste homemade(not sure if that’s the case, but they are seriously that good) I like the breakfast sandwich and highly recommend trying the croissant if you are early enough to get one. For dinner, I find the flatbreads are consistently good. I like the margarita(tasty balsamic glaze) and my husband likes the black and bleu(steak on a pizza… Awesome). They offer a gluten free option, though I haven’t tried it yet. Fish & chips are solid– best I’ve had in Broomfield. Super friendly atmosphere — the wait staff seem to really take care of the customers. One of the best parts: The Exchange is large enough that I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seated on a Sunday for brunch.

The Exchange Tavern gets an A-OK three stars from me. We ventured in for dinner and returned to check out their brunch. Both experiences were fine, but the only thing that I’d give a four or five star rating to is the service. The food was just ok both times… Actually, brunch was rather underwhelming. I had the Reuben for dinner(I loooooove a good reuben) and while it was good, it certainly wasn’t the best I’ve ever had. I probably wouldn’t even put it in the top five… It was a bit skimpy. Husband had a gluten free flat bread(he has that whole celiac thing going on) and he liked it. When we returned for brunch I tried the Chicken and Blueberry Waffles and he thought he’d give the breakfast flatbread a shot since he enjoyed the dinner one. His thoughts on the breakfast flatbread were as follows: it’s bland and you get mostly bread. They could do so much with this, but instead they skimp out on the egg and bacon, and leave you with a tasteless crust with potatoes and a small amount of other toppings. It wasn’t hearty or filling. My brunch dish was ok — I liked the chicken, but the waffles weren’t great. I love chicken and waffles, but it just fell short of my hopes and expectations. The gravy was an interesting addition — I asked for it on the side. Ok, so… The service was great, friendly, and prompt both times. The food left us wanting. We’d come back to The Exchange Tavern, but it wouldn’t be our first choice. Three stars is an appropriate rating for what we experienced.

Looking for a good old world style pub in the northern burbs? I’d definitely check this place out, and I’m bummed that I didn’t discover it for so long. I went to the plaza to hit up Early Bird, and of course they were on a 30 minute wait like any other weekend that I’ve ever tried to go here. So in my starving disappointment I aimlessly wondered back towards the car, and saw a menu in the window. What a brunch menu selection these guys have too! Burritos, skillets, biscuts and gravy, corn beef hash, breakfast booze drinks, dark wood without your usual smell of an old pub. The staff was pretty astute. They were definitely accommodating. I’m sure there are other great things to say about this place, so I’ll be back to give it another whirl. Bonus: free baby Guinness pint with Unilocal check-in
