I have been a student here for almost two years. I am so impressed with Javier and his team of coaches. I started karate because I wanted to do something for me. As an older adult female, I was nervous at first. Javier is such a professional and treats his students with such respect. I quickly overcame my insecurities and am determined to achieve my goals. I am now on my way to Black belt and I know that I am being trained by the best. I have observed his classes for the younger groups and he guides them to be respectful and courteous. I strongly recommend The Dojo of Karate. For adults — you are not too old. Parents– respect and the skills that will benefit your child beyond kicking and punching. They will learn discipline and self control. For me self-confidence and training to take care of myself in any situation.

This is the 1st dojo my child has joined. Javier Lozano is a very good instructor. I’ve seen him work with kids only and he does a great job. He’s consistent, disciplined, and organized in his training techniques for the little ones.

I am a student of the Dojo of Karate. I decided to learn karate because I wanted to be able to exercise and learn something cool at the same time. I found that at this Dojo. When I was looking around at the other schools, I became very intimidated with the size and type of classes. I was concerned that if I was in a large class, I might not be able to keep up with everyone. I really wanted to be able to learn karate. The Dojo of Karate has classes for all ages. Sensei Lozano has separate classes for different age groups. Sensei Lozano is a wonderful teacher. He has a lot of patience and knowledge. I really like his neverending positive attitude. I enjoy going to class 3x a week, even after long days of work, I still do :)

I was a student at the Dojo of Karate for a few months before a job relocation pried me away kicking & screaming. Sensei Lozano has World Champion credentials and they show through in the quality of instruction that all of his students receive. In a short period of time I was comfortable with the basics of each class, I was learning quicker and quicker as my body adjusted to the type of workouts and I even had a few solid self-defense moves to fall back on. Pretty cool stuff for a short period of time. I have to be honest, I was a bit intimidated to walk into a Karate Studio. I had never really done any martial arts training before and didn’t know what to expect. It was a bit shocking of how warm a welcome I received and how the place quickly grew a family type atmosphere. The other students were awesome and you really become friends quickly when you work out together a few nights a week. The Dojo of Karate is the Karate-verson of like your local«Mom & Pop» restaurant where all the locals go because it isn’t a chain, the people are friendly and the food is off the hook!
