I have eaten at this restaurant twice. The quality of the food is good and tasty but both times I experienced extremely slow service. I even waited a couple of years before going back the second time to see if the first time was a fluke but sadly it was not. Both times the wait staff jokes about how slow they were to respond and didn’t seem to care about our concerns of the lack of service. After the second issue I decided I would never go back.

Family came in from Florida to visit and wanted to have my brother in laws birthday dinner somewhere a little unique so I mentioned Ted’s. Everyone looked at the online menu and decided to give it a try. It was a Monday night so the place was really quiet. We were seated immediately and the service was wonderful. There were eight of us and I am sure everyone cleaned their plate. We all ordered bison steak and the kids wanted to try the short ribs. My daughter now has a new favorite place.

My dad and two other out of town guests were visiting and I chose to take them to Ted’s based on reputation and proximity. Everything started out great; we had a 7:30 reservation and were seated right away. The waiter took a while to check on us, and then another long while to take our order, but we chalked it up to just being busy. The waiter came to our table 5 minutes after we ordered to let us know that the dish that 3 of the 4 of us had ordered was sold out.(Prime Rib) Not a huge deal; we all chose something else. After waiting 45 minutes and watching others who sat down after us receive their food, I asked the waiter to please check on our meal. After another 5 minutes or so he comes back and sheepishly told us that had had forgotten to ever put our meal in. At this point my visitors chided me for choosing TMG, and expressed their frustration after flying in from the east coast. I assured them the food would be worth the wait. The waiter let us know that the manager would be over shortly to make sure we were«taken care of» and that they would rush our order(who wants a rushed steak??) Another 25 – 30 min pass and we finally receive our food. After we finished, the manager finally came to our table(why let the frustration fester? Rather than tell us that a significant portion of our bill would be taken care of, or offer something for the future, The manager asked if we wanted 1 free desert. When said no, that after over 2 hours of being there we were ready to go, the manager said«oh. ok» 10 minutes later our bill arrived, fully intact. There are a lot of dining options in our area, and this experience made my decision a little easier for the future. Forgetting to place an order seems like it would be on the top of a waiter’s no-no list, but on a busy evening, it isn’t unforgivable. The aloof attitude post-incident was what really frustrated my guests and I. It would have been so easy to redeem the miserable dining experience with thoughtful customer service.

Excellent meal. We had the salt and pepper onion rings with horseradish sauce, burger duo with fries and the Delmonico ribeye(perfectly cooked to medium rare) with roasted corn and balsamic blue tomatoes. Everything was great. Wonderful server, Zach. Informative and friendly but not too intrusive.

Bison is a great meat and we often cook bison burgers at home. Bison was also kind of expensive here and heavier than I wanted for lunch so I had a chicken sandwich instead. Switched raspberry sauce for something spicier. Sandwich and asparagus were great. Dill pickles which they serve as a free appetizer was different and good. Waiter was nice enough to leave the raspberry sauce on the side so I could try it. I made the right decision. I love raspberries but not on meat. Did not know this was a chain owned by Ted Turner until after I ate here. I was impressed. Great service and great food. Guess I can forgive Turner for WCW and Hanoi Jane.

I am pleased to report that the regional manager for Ted’s Montana Grill called us back. The manager sent us some gift certificates to use and apologize for the horrible experience at the Westminster location. So for that they get three stars until we return. We really appreciate the call back.

CO is the home of the hamburger, you find them ovunque. ma that of Ted’s Montana Grill is certainly among the best! There are different, we tried the one in Madison Square Park, where the quality of food you agginge the beautiful atmosphere with outdoor seating in the middle of the park and around illuminated skyscrapers. The burgers are really ottimi. purtroppo very often you will find yourself in front of a long queue, but the service is fast and very organized !! Certainly one of the best memories of CO !!

I took a friend here for a birthday dinner and it was a good meal. She came for the burgers and they didn’t disappoint albeit a little pricey compared to other burger places. The service is super friendly but there are large gaps between seeing the servers who must have 10 tables each. Still, you can see they’re hard working and are so friendly when they get to you. On a birthday meal, they throw in a free cookie with ice cream but we also opted for the strawberry shortcake. All and all — a good meal with good service. No major complaints.

Excellent meal. I had the Kansas City cut Bison with roasted asparagus and Parmesan crusted broccoli. Seating was quick, and the hostess was very personable. The waitress took my drink order quickly and gave me a reasonable amount of time with the menu to decide what to order. They brought some homemade pickled cucumbers with my drink, which were very tasty. A nice change from the bread put out by most steakhouses. I started my meal with a nice Caesar salad that was served cold and was very fresh. A nice mix of greens with a subtle amount of dressing. The croutons were very good. The Bison was very good, probably one of the best steaks I have had in a while, perfectly cooked medium rare and very tender. The sides consisted of asparagus and broccoli, which, while not excellent were very good. The service was excellent. I never saw the bottom of my iced tea, and the waitress was quite attentive while not being annoying. Overall one of the first 5 star meals that I have had in quite a while. Well done!

We met friends at Ted’s on the way to a show in Denver. We had a wonderful meal and attentive service. The Bison Short Ribs were excellent! We mentioned that we needed to be aware of the time to make it to the show and our server was prompt with everything. We even had time for a coffee before we left. Food and Service were top notch. The facility, was clean but looked like it has been a while since it has been updated.

My wife and I are new to the Denver area and we quickly found Ted’s near our corp. housing. Bottom line is that the food is amazing and it has been a great dining experience everytime. The only reason I did not rate them a 5 is that on our last visit, my wife who has never had a desire or willingness to try bison was served a bison steak without our knowledge until the bill came. Once it was brought to the servers attention as I assumed it was just a error on the bill, he advised that she was served a bison steak in error. The more bothersome part is that there wasn’t an apology or offer to adjust the bill to coincide with what we ordered. Instead, we were charged for the incorrect order. To managements credit, my wife emailed them the next day and they quickly responded and offered not only to take care of the situation but also displayed a clear desire to not only ensure our satisfaction but also wanted to ensure that they pursue the coaching opportunity with the server. We will continue to make our weekly visits to Ted as not only do we enjoy their food but we also respect the ethics they displayed in reaction to our situation.

When in the greater Denver area, I try to eat here. Where else can you get Bison steaks(more flavor than beef, with less fat, therefore healthier). Staff is very friendly too.

Ted’s Filet, the Bison version is easily one of the top 5 steaks I’ve ever had. Friendly staff and manager. Bartender made a killer dirty martini.

This restaurant was good. The food was hot and very well prepared. The service was quick and friendly the only thing was that we were served with dirty silverware. There was left over encrusted food on it. ok I’m not one fly off the handle about small trivialities but that was disgusting.

From the moment we walked in the door. nothing but amazing service. We were seated immediately and our server, Chris, came over to catch our drink order. He gladly offered up some of his favorites from the menu. None of which disappointed at all. The Bison Avalon burger was delish and the bison short ribs were spectacular! We also enjoyed alcohol drinks that were mixed to perfection. We will definitely be back for more amazing food. This place is not anywhere near Applebee’s type of food. This is a huge step up from there… even would go as far as to say… a whole ‘nother city. We loved everything we had… and will not forget to finish it all off again with an apple crisp next time we stop in… yum! Thanks for making us feel like we had a home cooked meal without all of the work or clean up. See you soon!

My wife likes this place so I reluctantly take her there. The food is okay a small step up from Applebee’s /a small step. But $ 9 bucks for a bourbon and ginger ale comon. Burgers are OK if you send back the overcooked first one served .I’ll probably go again just to appease her. But reluctantly!!!

Overall… honestly I wasn’t really impressed. Pros: The service was great. Erinn did a fabulous job. We didn’t wait on anything. We saw the tip on Unilocal about getting free rolls and she happily delivered. The lemonade is very yummy. Booths are comfy. The ehh: Burgers were ok. Just tasted like cooked meat with toppings. You might say, what did you expect??? Well, I was at the Cherry Cricket recently and this burgers would have been amazing without anything besides the meat. They were seasoned. I definitely can’t say that for Ted’s. Kids mac n cheese was cool because it wasn’t loaded with fake powdered cheese, but it had hardly any cheese at all. So while it isn’t powdered, it is basically non existent. Anyhow, I’ll be back for steak :)

Mmmm… bison, sours, and rolls Ted’s is a fave of my wife and I. Wish they had one in Phoenix, but we have to hit it on trips since they aren’t here, yet. Loves: The old-time brass and wood design; the sours(half-pickled cucumbers), the rolls, prime rib, anything bison, and their fish are all excellent; and even the Borax soap in the bathroom kicks it into cool. Service is excellent most of the time. Can be a bit of a wait if you arrive on a whim, though.

Have eaten here numerous times. The pickle /cucumber appetizer is hit or miss. If you get them when they are crispy then you lucked out. They have a pretty extensive selection of burgers which you can get in beef, chicken, or bison. The green and hot is always solid with pepper jack, guacamole, jalapeños, and chipotle ranch. They also have a couple options with a fried egg if that is your thing. Steaks will run you around $ 25, they are decent but not sure I would say comparable to authentic steak houses. A major knock against this place is NO Happy Hour, and well, that makes me sad. Nothing says unhappy like a $ 5 coors light. I would recommend at least trying this place once, even if it is to get the bison and discover that it really really tastes like beef.
