I wish there’s negative stars, this place is horrible DM First, take forever to get a seat. Then we order and the waiter didn’t even rmb our order Second: food took forever to come out and it was cold. The food taste horrible also, the portion is super small and so expensive, not worth it. Overall, please don’t waste your money and time coming here

Me and my sis love this t house. One of the best junk food that we both enjoy. I think the price a little expensive just for little portion. But so far the food is great

The 1 star I’m giving is for the sweet server(Anh). This restaurant is so bad that I would NEVER come back again. We ordered«dau hu da» with red beans and mochi. The mochi was hard and old. This item is $ 3.99. We also had«pha lau» which smells really bad. They probably didn’t prepare the intestine(+old) properly. We didn’t even touch bowl and told our server about the smell. She brought it in, about 20min later she brought it out again and still had the same smell. They still charged us $ 5.99 for the bad«pha lau» we didn’t eat and $ 1.50 extra for the red beans because(according to the owner) red beans is expensive(!!!). We questioned the $ 5.99 charge on our bill to the server. She was very understanding. 5 minute later she brought out a different bill with $ 2 difference on that«pha lau». So instead of $ 5.99, they charged us $ 3.99 for a dish we did not touch. Ridiculous!!! See you never Sidewalk.

Don’t go here! The only reason why I’m even giving a star because our server was so Sweet. We ordered dau hu da duong. The Mochi was frozen and old so it wasn’t chewy like it’s supposed to be. We added on dau do(red beans) they charged us an extra 1.50 for one tea spoon of red beans because it was«expensive» What kind of bullshit is that? We ain’t even mad about it because this place is Vietnamese so of course they would do something like this We ordered the Pha lau. It came out smelling like shit. Literally shit. This is probably because the intestine wasn’t properly cleaned plus it was old, combination made a nasty smell that made me want to throw up. Our server was sweet enough to try and bring out another one, but it still smells like shit. They ended up charging us for 5.99 for smelling shit. We had the server go back and said we didn’t even eat no way we should be charged for it. She took off $ 2. So we got a discount for smelling shit. DON’T GOHERE.

Indoor is very stuffy. Food is… Let just say if you have any other reason to come here beside food, go ahead. But if you want to eat here, save yourself a trip and go somewhere else. Our server, on the other hand, was super awesome(honestly the star was for her). We got a pha lau. Okay, I know what you’re thinking, it’s intestine so it should smell bad. But omgs, this is beyond bad… Sidewalk, you just ruined one of my favorite vietnamese street food! They should take that dish out of the menu completely. I mean it smelled so bad that we didn’t even touch it. We talked to the server and she was very understanding. Long story short, we still got charged(3.99 instead of 5.99 for the dish), but hey, please take this out! It’s not edible! See you never Sidewalk!

I came here at noon, and they have not customer. No one there to greet me, until I found my seat and then I had to call them to give me the menu. The menu was ugly, then I ordered my foods. OMG, it wasted my time about 20 to 25 mins to wait. I had to asked them many time when my food come out. They said«If I want to have the food come out early, I have to call before I come.» The way they said like they did not care for customer even there were not customer at that time except I and my friend. When the food come out, it seem they divided one order to 2 order(one for me, and another one for my friend”. It looked messy on my disk, not the same like I had before. Bad customer service!!!

Stop by today to get some drink since the weather is pretty hot outside. I got recommended this PANNACOTTADESSERT bowl(Che Khuc Bach) for $ 4.99. AMAZING, Totally worth it. it serves with lychee bits and lychee simple syrup with the 2 flavors of Panna cotta(Milk & Matcha) and some toasted almonds on top. BEST to get for a hot day. This dessert is very popular in Vietnam and not alot of places in the U. s have it as Good as here. You should check it out. Since it’s new so they didn’t put it on the menu. However, you should get recommend by the workers here. If not then just ask them :)

The tea has no flavor. I mean it s milk tea, but all I taste is jasmine flavor and the sweet of boba. The food is ok, nice decoration work though.

It’s one of my favorite boba place. I love the bánh tráng trn, fries, and rice cakes of it. The service is really good. One special thing about this place is the cute space of the shop. I love the sea salt jasmine tea boba of this place.

On our last day in California, after a big lunch we had a few hours to kill before everyone had to part their separate ways. So we wanted a coffee shop where we could all come and sit and just talk. Lucky for us this place was not far from where we ate lunch. The locals said it would not be crowded, when we entered there was only 1 couple inside. We came with a giant group of 13 including some rowdy kids, so we quickly had the place to ourselves. They have the old school tables where you take off your shoes and sit indian style. It was a cool concept. They had the normal tables and chairs too, but our group took up the whole shoe less area. The drinks came out quickly for a group our size however none of the drinks were any good. We got a wide variety and almost all of the cups were still 50% full. Overall, the drinks were meh, but the space is great if you a lot of room for your whole group.

Service was good but we also got there before the crowd. The menu said they have a weekend bbq menu starting at 7 pm so that’s when people started arriving. We sat outside at first but moved inside because everyone on the patio smokes so I don’t recommend it for kids since the smokers didn’t really give a shit that it was bothering the kids. This place is more like an Asian tapas and tea bar place so don’t expect a large dish but you can still get full. We and the kids liked everything we ordered which was chicken wings, sweet potato(not yams, also battered) fries, steamed dumplings, crispy rice thing, friend tofu, banh bot chien, and fish balls. We also liked our drinks which was the pink sunset and peach tea. The peach tea had peach slices and mint in it so it was refreshing. I would eat here again because the toddlers actually ate all their food.

Location: the environment is interesting, first time here. You can chose to sit either inside or outside but beware if you sit outside you run the possibility of annoying people who smokes and you will be baked in their smokes. Other than that weather is nice today. Designs and deco of the environment is cute and different, will totally remind of that you are definitely in a Vietnamese joint. Service: the girls who served us are nice, mostly spoke Vietnamese to us…(They seem to rush you into ordering though) Good thing I understand Vietnamese fluently *proud. Food: Ordered golden fish ball(tasted okay, edible), phở Lou(do not order this !!! Taste like orange juice mixed with curry with old bread), rice paper salad: I feel like a stomach is coming … Quail eggs are not fresh they are the canned one… Too sweet/sour. If you’re craving for this DONOT order this here… Go to the night market… you will not be disappointed there. Overall 2 stars because I will never come back. Foods and drinks that we ordered are extremely disappointing. Here is a picture of the food and we are finished eating :(. Come and try for the unique design and the environment of the place but I am not too sure that the food will improve.

Unique place for street food, but not the place to go if you are a «Clean Freak» this place lacks Sanitation Standards. Once you walk in and take a seat you can tell that chair was probably not cleaned since the day they opened. Only to be cleaned by your own bottom. The restroom is by far the dirtiest place with flies around the sink. Mop bucket left with dirty water keeping insects around. Windows area not well cleaned. But for the price you can ignore all these safety issues cause we Asians don’t care if you get food poisoning(racist joke that is true for most places in Vietnam and many other countries). Even when the place is not that busy the employees here would rather stand around and look pretty rather then clean the area. Total was 15 $ for 3 people with 4 orders of food.

sidewalk t house is a kitschy-quainty teenybopper getaway from the mean hustle of westminster. when i mean getaway im serious because in their patio i encountered an endearing construction of a parisian-hawaiian-shangri la of consummate kitschdom. an audacious attempt at running away from it all whilst hanging outside is the largest two-story printed backdrop i’ve ever seen in my life portraying a pristine, jaw-dropping waterfall cascading away all your worries off into a sunset in a land of nostalgic recollection. so if that isn’t escapism then i think they probably just knew someone at a printshop that gave them some discount printing. as i stare at this gargantuan idyllic landscape, im vicariously taken away to what they would like me to believe is paradise – for a blissful moment of life i’ve escaped the labyrinthian confines of phở restaurants, gridlocked streets of toyota camrys, and abhorring architecture of westminster. it’s all well actually because in my hand is a rather enjoyable oversized matcha green tea w/sea salt crème & almond pudding. all that other stuff i said is just hyperbole – im just here for the creamy matcha tea. see you in paradise.

To be perfectly honest, they’re still working through their grand opening kinks, finding out what works and what doesn’t. For starters, what works, The outside seating is well furnished, from big groups under umbrella canopies, to round tables and other seating spread throughout, they really wanted focus to be on the«sidewalk» aspect of the theme. Two of the drinks I’ve tried so far aren’t bad, and one of the two was actually very tasty. Their signature drink is the Sidewalk T, which is a regular royal milk tea with popping boba and grass jelly. Obviously this one wasn’t that special, but it wasn’t bad either. If you’re not a fan of popping boba than either steer clear or option out of getting it. The Floating Dream was tasty though! Matcha green tea with sea cream, and bits of mung bean really offered a different texture and taste to other competitions sea cream drinks. Most other places offer their sea salt cream with their jasmine green tea, by switching out for matcha, you get an even more textured and creamy concoction that is offset with bits of mung bean. Not bad at all. The drinks come in one size, big. Getting togo will get you a «half and half» size cup, the ones that won’t fit into any cup holder ever. The drinks in come in nice glass vases and containers that will be sure to elicit smiles and comments from patrons. What doesn’t work, The hybrid seating of Japanese tatami mat seating and sparse table seating don’t make it work for indoor seating. While you’re waiting for your drinks, you’re either left standing awkwardly, sitting on the steps to the tatami floor mat seating, or contemplating taking in the outdoor seating outside. Chances are, the two actual inside tables are taken up already because who wants to sit on the floor… Their take on Vietnamese beef stew, bo kho, was a bit on the sweet side and while bo kho is a sweet take on beef stew, this one had an acres sweet kick to it. So much so that amid bites of stew I was reaching for the bread to dip into the salt, pepper and chili dip. They also have a lot of other common Vietnamese street food, those I’ll have to try in the future. All in all, it was an A-OK experience.
