Save-On Glass & Screen

We used Save On Glass because they were the least expensive of the glass companies and also provide a glass protection coating warranty.
1^st. They gave us a quote for $ 1329.37, we put down $ 500 in good faith monies for the work to begin. After the work was completed, they said they made a mistake and the new price was $ 1445.04.
2^nd. We were told at the time we made the deposit, the installation would be on Friday of the next week. Not true, the Tuesday of the next following week the installation began. My boss was very happy with taking multiple days off.
3^rd. They do not install their own product, the enclosure was installed by a sublet company who subsequently damaged the shower. We had to wait a few more days for another piece of glass.
4^th. The sublet company installed the damaged panel after a few days. I asked them about the coating, the installers were unaware of the coating and was not on the paperwork. I had to call Save On, they scheduled the coating to be installed later that day.
5^th. I read about the glass coating warranty after they gave me the info, you have to squeegee the shower enclosure every time you shower and dry off the hardware. I asked Margaret when we paid the balance why they sold us this product if we had the dry the shower after every use, Margaret said «I do not know». Great answer! $ 225.00 for this special coating and she has not idea why they sold it to us.

Professional, friendly, fast work, good prices. I’m so happy I found this place. I took some screens in to be replaced and they were ready the next day. I had a bunch of questions and they answered all my questions and even offered some information I didn’t know to ask about. Small businesses like this where every employee is an expert and cares about what they are doing make such a nice change from big chain stores.

So refreshing to find a helpful, knowledgable and friendly family-​run place like this. I’ve been here a few times, and each time they were able to cut glass on the spot. I needed hard-​to-​find louver glass for 1930s era windows and they had it in stock, ready to cut to my dimensions. Prices are reasonable, and they are just nice folks. Their business is in a small strip of businesses, just 2 blks west of Beach. Plenty of in-​lot parking.

Fast service, came out the same day to do the estimate. The double pane window had to be special ordered and they called to set up an appointment as soon as it was in. Installers were right on time and very nice and did a great job.

Nice people same day service in some apps. Like them they get the job done.
