I order a small Hanh Nhan hot pot. The food is not tasty. Water is charged. Free side dessert.

Perfect place food meatless Fridays! Yes I know we can still eat fish, but I do love me a good vegetarian place. Upon walking in, we were immediately seated on a Friday night. We came early so people started to trickle in as we were dinning. We ordered: –Phở ap chao 4 stars –Bun bi cha gio 4 stars –Com tay Cam Luc Vi 4 stars (clay pot rice with mixed veggies and nuts) –Bun rieu 4 stars The entire dinner was a solid 4 – 4.5 stars. I love eating vegetarian food whether I have to or required. There’s something about eating clean food(sort of) that makes my insides happy. If I could, I would probably eat this type of vegetarian food over meat any day. So my favorite dish would be the first 3 dishes. I recommend getting the PHOAP Chao Fried/crispy. What this is, is thick white rice noodles, fried into a crisp, and then this yummy mix of veggies and sauce is poured all over it. Get the FRIED version. I love how the sauce softens up the noodles so the noodles aren’t too hard. Keep ladling that sauce over the fried noodles so the noodles can soak up all that goodness. Then the fresh veggies helps to lighten up the dish. We definitely want to come back and try the«all you can eat» Hot Pot for $ 8.99 a person. On another note for any interested parties: They charge 0.50 cents for water! That’s so lame!!! Especially for people like me who NEVER touch their water during dinner. We didn’t know they charged for water, so we got 4 waters. It wasn’t till we saw the bill, it will say«Da Lanh» that we found out. It’s only 0.50 cents but I don’t even drink water during dinner! So anyway, just wanted to let ya’ll be aware. Muy Bueno!

Really banging out my buck here for $ 8.99 on a higher state of conciseness. Hot pot is tasty warm fuzzy and good. Plenty of protein. It’s not the type of vegan that gives you more noodles and holding back on the protien.

First time going to a vietnamese restaurant that only have vegetarian items but as Vietnamese cuisine. Cute modern clean restaurant. They play vietnamese music as your background music. My family order fresh spring roll, crispy egg noodle with vegetable and beef and other kind of meat, salad but had egg rolls and roasted pork but of course all the meat are vegetarian. We also had hot pot. We didn’t do ayce hot pot. We just share a small size hot pot that costs about $ 14.99. I like the broth of the hot pot. It was very flavorful. It comes with vegetable imitated meat and 2 different type of noodle. All the other food that we order were good as well. Even though i am a meat eater, i always enjoy vegetarian food. It always feel good to my body as long i don’t eat too much of it The prices of the foods here are reasonable. Friendly staff and great service. The foods came out at a good amount of time since it wasn’t so busy when we came.

Just ate there tonight and the hot pots were superb. This is my second time here and i love the food. There are lots of flavor in the soup broth and customer service was excellent. Got lots of refills for my family’s meal but the tab totaled $ 31 for five people.

HORRIBLE service! !!! The short hair girl definitely make me loose my appetite. No smile, very rude, and a lot of attitude. It’s like she thinks she is at Vietnam where service doesn’t really matter… keeps this up and they aren’t going to last long! Plus false advertisement for kids under 5 all you can eat Lau free. Someone has to order the actual one in order for it to be effective. They should have written that on the sign also! I got cha ca thi la and omg, it was super sour. Definitely, did not want to eat it after the first but, but had to because I’m in my vegetarian days so can’t throw away.

My whole family ate their bun rieu here… We all love this noodle soup choice. Their interior is very pretty but the outside of the restaurant does not stand out though. It’s near the corner of the plaza. This restaurant is worth the try cause their dishes are delicious.

The service was beyond awful, and the food only tasted decent after I bathed it in a decent amount of soy sauce. I believe this restaurant has potential if they replaced their rude and disrespectful staff and waitress. Not only does this give the vegetarian restaurant a bad image but in no way does the attitude of the waiter/waitress reflect the principles and beliefs of Buddhism. This will be my first and last time at this vegan restaurant. I suggest that everyone stick to the traditional Bo De Tin Tam Chay or Au Lac restaurants. I felt terrible that my parents had to wait 30 minutes for less than mediocre food.

Came here with my mom recently and we shared the bun rieu and com tam bi cha thit nuong. The bun rieu was really good! I highly recommend that. The com tam bi cha thit nuong was just okay. I also ordered com tay cam for take out and ate it the next day. It was good! I can only imagine how much better it would’ve tasted fresh out the kitchen. The service was good as well. I will definitely be coming back. :)

I am not vegetarian but my parents are so when I come up here to visit them, we always go vegetarian. Overall, I love Vietnamese vegetarian and this place did not fall short of expectations. Dishes are really creative and flavorful – and cheap compared to others. Their bun bo hue is the best I’ve had. I also like the com something something grilled beef…#57. My parents also like to get the small hotpot($ 14) which actual feeds four. I’ve been here three times and all have been delish. Looking forward to trying the other dishes!

This place is okay. They always forget about the little things. Have to remind them to bring out a couple of items that we waited for. I had the bun bo hue here and it was really big. I couldn’t finish it. So make sure you share with someone. The portions here really big. My mom ordered the mi xao gion and she barely finished a third of it. My aunt got the phở ap chao and she had to Togo that home. I really liked their spring rolls that they have here. Gotta make sure you have a person to share with! Cause you won’t finish it. Prices here are reasonable. Most of them don’t go over $ 8. They have shabu here too! Which is awesome for vegetarians :)

So I came here to have the $ 8.99AYCE hot pot. The place is located in the same plaza as the Stater Brothers, and is closer to the corner on the other side. The Hot Pot was okay, it came with a divider in the middle(we ordered for two), so we decided to make one side spicy and the other not. There is a sweet, spicy and lemongrass sauce on the side to add some flavor. It came with a variety of veggies and fake meats. The fake meats were okay, they had sort of a rubbery texture that is reminiscent of the kind you can get at the supermarket. The veggies were hit or miss. The taro for example seemed kind of old and when we boiled it it didn’t get soft right away. The shiitake-like mushrooms tasted like they were dried mushrooms that were soaked again. The other veggies tasted fresh and good though. The soup itself was okay, I didn’t find the flavor all that interesting or noteworthy. Overall a nice meal for $ 8.99AYCE, but it wasn’t something I enjoyed all that much.

I came here with my parents to try this place out. We normally go to bo de to eat vegetarian but we wanted to try this place out. My parents ordered noodle soups while I ordered the all you can eat hot pot option. When we were ordering, the rude waiter guy with the glasses kept telling my parents that they couldn’t eat off of my hot pot since we only ordered one all you can eat. Yeah we already know that. At least say it without an attitude, otherwise good luck retaining your customers. I’d rather go to Bo de, much better food over there anyways.

Finally had the chance to try out this place during lunch. I ordered the bun bo hue and the bi cuon. The food was average in my opinion but the portion was big. I asked if they cook with MSG and the waiter replied with a no. After finishing my bun bo hue I was beginning to get thirsty. Upon leaving my mouth and lips got drier and drier. Although they said they don’t use MSG I can’t argue with how my body reacted afterward. The bi cuon was salty, as well as their dipping sauce. The place was clean and that’s what the 3 stars is for.

A plus that they open so early before lunch time — will have to come back for take-out. And, the $ 8.99 per person all you can eat hot pot seemed good for next time around… I had their crispy fried noodles w/seafood not at all oily; I liked the sauce(though would have like more on the plate). Pretty affordable prices for a big plate of food — another plus. My friend’s dish was so steaming hot which she loved. Also, I loved the décor — modern and slick.

**Note: CASHONLY $ 8.99 per person for all-you-can-eat hot pot. It includes vermicelli and vegetarian egg noodles; cabbage, kabocha squash, carrots, something that tastes like celery leaves(tan o); fried and un-fried tofu, a variety of fake meats, a variety of mushrooms. Service is excellent, one of the few Vietnamese restaurants that refills water. We are regularly checked on. A+!

Went here for one of our friends’ grandma’s bday. I’ve never ever been a fan of veggies, let along vegetarian food. Meat is life ;)! Nonetheless, this place really made me reconsider that meaty mindset! Everything we got was fresh and deliciosoooo! We went in a group of 10 so we got to try a lot of different stuff. The hot pot and fried egg rolls were my favorite! The broth for the hot pot was good, full of flavors, and even had a divider thing for spicy and non-spicy diners. Plenty of veggies, plenty of «meat» and unlimited refill for your broth! We almost got full finishing 1 order of this(5 ppl/1 pot). Egg rolls were crunchy and the filling was very yummy. Nem nuong was also fresh and tasty as well. The au lac luc lac, which I guess was the veggie version of bo luc lac, was somewhat lacking on the other hand. Service was slightly above average, since there were only 2 servers for the whole place. In short, good food, good atmosphere. I will be back :]

My mom, aunts, cousin, and I just finished our all girls luncheon here today and we were all really impressed! Service: 5⁄5 Our waiter was very kind and attentive. He explained what he recommended to us: bun bo hue chay & bun rieu chay — Vegetarian Vietnamese rice noodle soups. He also said their hot pots are good(all you can eat for $ 8.99). Price: 5⁄5 Most vegetarian restaurants in OC are a bit pricey, but not here! The majority of their options are around ~$ 5 – 7. They have a huge menu with 70+ options. Also, they have my most favorite drink in the world: dau xanh la dua(mung bean juice and pandan leaf). Ambiance: 5⁄5 Very beautiful inside! Seats and table settings are very elegant and they have Buddhist statues throughout the restaurant. I can see this being a popular eatery for Buddhist monks and nuns. In fact, there were two eating there while we were there. Food: 3.5÷5 Since this restaurant was new, stick with what they recommend. I geared off their recommendations and wanted to get their banh uot(rice noodle sheets), but they said they didn’t have any. So I went with my second choice, eggplant stir fried with basil, and they said they didn’t have that either. I ended up having to pick a random tofu dish(tofu stir fried with basil), which ended up being okay. It didn’t come with rice so I had to order that separately, which was dry. On the other hand, my aunts loved their bun bo hue(vermicelli noodle soup Hue style), and my mom loved her bun bi cha gio mam Thai(vermicelli with vegetarian egg rolls and Thai sauce). I see a lot of potential for this restaurant. It barely opened recently so I hope in a few months they are able to fix their small kinks in the menu. My mom would love to come back again.
