Throwback to those old 50s style Malts and Burger days. Be careful about order one of their«Large«burgers, its 90% bread w some small slats of meat on itIts a greasy spoon type place, but staff have ALWAYS been kind, friendly. The value for money spent pretty good. Get there before Noon, the lunch crowd takes over quickly. Wude ranch of mix on the menu. I usually do a regular double burger and tgey stick w you for awhile. 50s music piped in through the radio, old phots on the wall. A good place to bring the Grandparents so they can reminisce bout the good olé days. I give 3 Stars only because the last few times weve stopped in the bread on the burgers was stale. I work about 100 yards from the place so often its a fast quick bite to eat when time isnt on your side. Bring the kiddos for a pretty good shake… Oh and they really need to work on their fries, not a fan. They get cold and stale quickly.

This place has great made to order burgers. If you like pineapple milkshakes, this is your spot. The buffalo chips were pretty good as were the onion rings. The only thing I was less than impressed with were the canned mushrooms, I assumed they’d be grilled, but next time I’ll just leave them off.

Not so great it was exactly what u wanted a burger don’t get me wrong it was a huge burger but plain but the fries were decent I would have liked a little seasoning on the burger other than that I didn’t try anything else

Been in there many times. Its in walking distance of home. Have always got the food to go. Never disappointed. You know the foods fresh. Not under a heating lamp. Made to order. The staff is friendly. Their shakes are really good. Glad they are open on Sundays again. Sometime the smells good ones from outside remind me of my childhood. Would recommend Jims to anyone.

Liked the bun here but maybe I am in the wrong in which the burger didnt stretch to the outside of the bun. Maybe they put one of their smaller burgers on the 6″ bun but it was just okay biting into bread and lettuce before getting to the first burger bite. Once i did get to the burger it was decent. fries were typical fare. In all honesty, I was disappointed because I love old school greasy spoon type places but this time, I just wasn’t feeling it. I ordered a malt with my order and it came out of the back without a lid. The strange thing is, they dont have self serve fountain drinks where the lids usually located, you pick up your tray and have to stand their and sort out your ketchup, lid at this tiny counter. Probably a chore for a family of 4+. The strange thing is they put a straw in though. Seems backwards to me. I did not knock them any points for this but just an observation that caught me off guard. For the price I think I can do better elsewhere.

Been here twice, disappointed twice. Very bland burger, dirty oil made the onion rings taste bad. Place is dirty and run down as well. Won’t be going back for a third time. Burger King down the road has better tasting burgers.

Closed Sunday after August for the Fall & Winter. Then they didn’t update their hours so it’s a wasted trip. At least I wasn’t Jonesing for a great flat grilled burger like my wife was! Boy was she pleased with my suggestion! :-P

The Place is unnacceptably dirty to sell food in. The Food is terrible. Unseaseasoned mangled burger patties on an unnecessarily giant bun. All bun no burger for 8 dollars. This place has no business selling burgers. Not sure how anyone reviews this place positively.

Exactly what I expected: 50s diner food(think Sonic drive-in, but slightly better quality). 50s music playing. There were some cute Christmas decorations. The actual décor is run-down(holes in the booth seats patched with tape, faded carpet, etc), but it was clean. Both the lady who took our order and the gentleman who handed it to us at the window were pleasant and helpful. Everything was priced low, and the food was served quickly and still hot. The onion rings were very good. We will definitely be back here when we are in the mood for this type of food.

I’m from Austin where Dan’s and Fran’s Burgers are very popular. This is as close as it gets to making me feel at home. We have been driving by Jim’s for years and always said we should check it out. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. This place is GOOD and inexpensive. We will be back again and again. This place rocks!

This spot was not impressive. Seems popular enough with the locals. I can say the only reason I would return is to try a malt. The first bite of my hamburger tasted like chemical. Discovered it was the pickles after removing all fresh ingredients from my sandwich. Prices are reasonable which is why I gave it 3 stars. Ask for extra napkins and use the bathroom before you arrive.

Burgers good and fresh, fries fresh. Place was clean. Oldies music from the 60s, the place needs a pick me up, its definitely a greasy spoon. Needs a makeover bad… Over all the food is the plus

This place is pretty great. My boyfriend and I popped in. The regular sized burgers are HUGE. I get the double small usually. I also recommend the fish sandwich and other fish options. I am not sure about the italian sandwiches though.

We were charged $ 20.68 for what thought was two double meats with cheese combos and a small cheese burger. As we are waiting for our food the cashier comes to our table and says we owe an additional $ 1.14 when we ask her for what she takes our receipt and walks away. She comes back and said she only charged us for one double meat combo and the small cheese burger, we need to pay more for the second double meat combo. We ask her to see our original receipt because $ 20.68 is ridiculous for one combo and a small chesse burger. She tells us she throw it away. Are order is ready as we are talking it is correct and she told them to take it back because it is not paid for. We told them if we had to pay more we would like a refund. We got our refund and left. They have lost a customer we will not return here.

Came in for lunch today and had the double small burger with cheese and fries and a drink combo. Burgers are small size as advertised and we’re really good. A friend build this place as the closest thing to In and Out as I was going to get here. Well I have to say that he’s close. Another friend mentioned that there’s a place in Colorado Springs I have to try that’s probably a little closer to In n Out’s style. Overall the restaurant was clean and the food and service were great and fast! I’m usually around this area so I’ll probably come back!

This have been a staple for me since I was a kid. I remember driving from Boulder with my mom just to come hear. It’s the classic old fashioned burger place. They even have a classic car show here every couple months. I love the burgers. If you get a single, it’s kind of bready. No problem. I always get a double. The double 6 inch with cheese is heaven. It’s a lot of food, so be ready. The fries are just basic fries. They do have chili if you want to jazz them up. My side of choice is the onion rings. They are killer. Of course the shakes and malt are great too. The dinning room is messy sometimes but not as bad as the Thornton location.
