This place is under new ownership and called Asian Café. I love it. I came in several times for lunch with a friend and each time was delicious. It doesn’t seem like that they’re very busy. I think it’s mostly due to the fact that they are hidden away in that center behind Wendy’s.

I like this place. I know its got new management within the last 6 months. Standard chinese food menu, but its good and better than Thai Basil down the street! Everyone is friendly and their happy hour is pretty good too! $ 1 beers!

Husband’s pick I really should have stuck with my choice. I ordered the walnut shrimp which really is battered deep fried shrimp covered in this sugar cream sauce and then tossed with walnuts covered in sugar. I enjoyed my 4 broccoli spears with chili sauce and the crab ragoon was okay. I took the batter of the shrimp and didn’t even taste the fried rice or the egg roll. The egg drop soup had only a little egg. The service was good though. So if you want deep fried sugar tossed with sugar nuts then this is the dish for you. I can’t handle lunch that sweet unless I choose to just eat some ice cream.

Well, I can’t speak for vegetarians or for people whose to-go order was messed up(which account for the only other two reviews I see for this place). We ate here within days of moving to Broomfield from Los Angeles. Admittedly, we didn’t expect much. We’re used to some pretty stinking good Asian food. But this place was really great. Like other reviewers have said, it was pretty slow, but the atmosphere was very clean, nicely decorated, and relaxing. The staff was amazing. Definitely friendly and accommodating. We ordered the crab wontons, which were delightfully plump and stuffed full of yummy-ness – much unlike most Asian places. Then my daughter had the beef lo mein, my husband ordered some spicy, crispy chicken dish similar to orange chicken, and I had the panang curry with beef. I wasn’t a fan of the beef. I don’t know enough to say if it was the quality or the way it was cooked. But otherwise, everything was really yummy. My curry was chock full of good veggies, just the right amount of spice. My husband’s chicken was delicious. Overall, we definitely plan to go back.

My family and I went about 1pm the week after they opened. The place was dead, but the food was absolutely awesome. The Thai curry alone was enough to die for. Ordered delivery tonight, a friggin ton of food. All of it was hot, fresh and good. The drunken noodles were just spicy enough, not greasy(which I sometimes have an issue with). If you get a chance, order the beef on a skewer. Excellent sweet grilled and tender. Above all I recommend the curries. Unless I’m making at home, I have never had better. Lots of food for the price.

I was hungry on the way home. I didn’t feel like cooking. I had seen the flyer about their opening, so I decided to stop in. One nice thing I noticed was that you were not overwhelmed with the cooking smells from the kitchen. The staff was friendly. I looked at the menu looking for something to eat. I like noodles so I asked them about the Japanese pan fried noodles. I specifically asked what kind of noodles, they went to the kitchen and I heard someone yell udon, udon. So I ordered it, knowing that udon is rice noodles. I got home and opened the bag, it had 2 containers, one with the combination of chicken, beef, shrimp and veggies, the other had a hard nest of noodles. the type that you would find in a can and crumble, only these wouldnt crumble. They were not udon noodles! They were inedible. There is nothing worse than getting home and finding out your togo order is WRONG. The meat mixture was not bad, what was bad was that I didnt get the noodles that I ordered. I will not go back there again.

Not that impressive. We came on a snow day so I won’t judge the lack of patrons by that; we were the only people in the restaurant for most of our meal. My biggest gripe is the lack of vegetarian dishes. Usually in Asian restaurants there is a separate vegetarian section, but not here. Many of the dishes can be made with tofu, but a lot of those dishes are deceptive in that they have fish sauce or shrimp. I wanted to try the Vietnamese Noodle Bowl because the description didn’t include any meat. But it came with fish sauce. The Spring Rolls, which in other restaurants never include meat, come with shrimp. And all the egg rolls have pork. However, our waitress was very accommodating and offered us the spring and egg rolls without meat. And our main dishes, Lo Mein and Noodles Udon(both with tofu) were delicious. This wouldn’t be top on my list of Asian restaurants, or even in the middle. But it’s nice to know that the staff here is friendly and willing to accommodate our vegetarian diets.
