went to this buffet last saturday and it was nasty!!! The fried chicken was old and dried out and they would not change it out, the other meats in the place had no taste at all, or down right tasted terrible. Same went for the vegetables, not a whole lot was really edible. .. terrible waste of $ 35. We will never eat here again. Totally GROSS!!!

My husband went in and tried to get a dinner to go. *laughing here… they gave him one small strofoam container and said he had to get everything in it… salad, vegies, main course, desert, rolls, etc. So basically the food would touch and run into each food category. My gosh, where would the ice cream and fruit salad go? They also told him that they would check to be sure the food was not crammed into the container and that it shut without bulging. Needless to say, he did not get his meal to go and we will never go back there again.

I’ve gone to this buffet several times a year for the past 5 – 6 years. It’s mostly a place to meet family with our younger kids for a lunch where we don’t have to wait for our food and everyone can have a wide variety. The food is always OK. Not spectacular but decent for the price and the service is usually good. I’m writing this review based on my experience last week. My husband, two children and I stopped by for lunch. We were there right at opening so it was fairly uncrowded and the food was fresh. My issue was when we were paying for our food, the cashier had to swipe my credit card twice because she thought it had not gone through the first time. Well, lo and behold, a couple days later when I checked my bank account, I found the charge had gone through twice. Well, I understand mistakes happen. I called Country Buffet and explained the situation. The manager, his name was Angel, took my call and immediately apologized. He took my information about the specifics of the transaction and assured me they would get it fixed and credited back to my account within a couple of days. Having dealt with stuff like this before, I was a little skeptical it was this easy. I said OK but was already bracing myself for more phone calls and rigmarole. So, imagine my surprise when two days later, I actually saw the promised credit back in my account! Yes, it was actually there when he promised it would be. And I didn’t have to call back and re-explain the situation to someone new, I didn’t have to resort to screaming or cursing, they actually did something they said they were going to do the first time with minimal effort on my part. So, yeah, the food may not be 5 star but c’mon, it’s a buffet, what do you expect? It’s a good place to take kids and the service is always friendly. I’m giving this place 5 stars mostly because of the outstanding customer service provided by Angel. Honestly, this has been one of the most hassle free experiences in correcting a problem that I have had with any business and I really appreciate it.

I was looking for Sunday Brunch on Unilocal and even though this place didn’t have a lot of super reviews, we can anyway nexus of the franchise reputation. The place was clean, food was very good and you can special order omelets and eggs. Both breakfast and lunch food which is great on Sunday Brunch. Two thumbs up!

I would never usually dine at a buffet but my family had there mind set on dining here. It was exactly what you would expect, plenty of variety and quantity, but seriously lacking in the quality department. And you can’t expect much more with a $ 9 per person all you can eat establishment. Luckily they have a salad bar that you can’t really go wrong with. I followed that with some of their(supposedly) fresh meats at the carvery stand, which were mediocre at best. I paired them with some sides that I know are easier to not mess up, such as steamed vegetables and mashed potatoes. Overall, I would say the food was edible. This establishment is especially hard if your trying to eat healthier better quality products because everything is processed and loaded with fats and bad carbs. The only positive note was that the staff was very friendly and provided good service. I personally would never return to this establishment but I can see how someone who is not worried about their health would love this place. It simply just isn’t for me!

So we decided to eat at this country buffet because we are not fond of the one in Arvada. So we walked in and it’s very open an roomy. When we said we had not yet been to this locations buffet we were greeted by Matt, I believe he said his name was, he was very nice and welcoming an gave us the quick lay out of were everything was located and said let him know if we had a prob. Very nice, then the food was so good. Nothing was bad, or dry, or anything it all tasted so good and omg I was in heaven and happy, yes it is an expensive place to eat but when the food is amazing it is well worth it. And the greeting we got when we walked in the door was awesome. Thanks Matt. This will be the only location we will come to from now on.

If I could rate lower I would!!! Wasn’t this guy on Undercover Boss??? I think he better get back in there! Went last night with my husband and daughter.(2 adults 1 child, 3 drinks) 42.00 Wow. could eat at Red Lobster for that and not bring home a pet ROACH!!! yes, that is what I said, cant take a doggie bag, but some little critter may hitch a ride home on you or in your purse. Keep your eyes wide open when you eat. That is if you can eat. we stood in front of the main table with the plates(no plates) for over 5 minutes asking if someone could get plates. one guy asked me, where are the plates? I said. well, good question I asked 2 people so far. His reply was, «well there really isn’t any food either to put on the plates! I started looking around at the dried up almost empty trays of food at every station!!! some totally empty. Meanwhile(STILLNOPLATES) I had to get a bowl of jello to give to my starving daughter while we continued to wait! Hungry men circling the tables like vultures & getting angrier by the second, This is a FRIDAY night at 6:30… really!!! they cant staff a place to have it running smoothly. The women seemed frantic and unhappy to be there. Food was ok. but now that I have brought home a roach. I want to puke. Who knows what I ingested at this place!!! Right when we were about to leave I did smell those great rolls that I remembered from the past being there then I realized the rolls had not been out the whole time we were there. Already done eating, they may have made the meal a little better? SOSAD, Why bother having a restaurant if you don’t keep up with the cleanliness, atmosphere(was so dirty & smelly) quantity of food, quality of staff… WHEREARETHEOWNERS?(probably eating at Red Lobster) the Manager? Who I did hear get called up to the front on a couple of occasions & I am sure it was unhappy customers like us. NEVEREVER would I step foot in the door of this on any other Country Buffet for fear of bringing home a ROACH and just simply knowing this owner /business manager does not give a crap about this location!!!

It has been about 5 years since I have eaten here, and oh boy … Has it changed! The layout of how the foot is presented at each of the stations has been overhauled and in a fantastic way too! We arrived on a Thursday evening, family night at country Buffett. They give away prizes for the kids via raffle tickets. This is on top of the icees and cotton candy offered! In addition to the normal desserts offered. The food was fantastic, the server, Dallas was right on and very attentive to everyone’s needs, inclusions ours and very pleasant! Customer service has changed big time and In a good way. The only complaint I have is the restrooms. The men’s was in I need of cleaning badly. The smell was rancid. I hope this can be addressed and resolved quickly. Bottom line… This place has been refreshed and yet retains the nostalgic familiarity that I remember. Great job guys!

When this restaurant relaunched we were so happy with the food and service. We had maybe 2 or 3 good experiences, but I have to say… the last 3 or 4 times we’ve gone, the food quality had really gone down hill. We have gone for breakfast and for dinner on different days and different times of day; and the food was really bad every time. It was stale from sitting out too long, or it was overcooked in the first place. There was one morning I couldn’t even eat what I had on my plate it was so bad. This used to be my favorite restaurant, but we have decided that we won’t be going back. Too risky for the price.

½ A star if it was possible. Sent this email the night of our nasty experience. Still haven’t heard back or even an apology. Hi, my name is Chris. Here is my dining experience. My wife and I decided to dine at your location last night due to the variety that is offered. It has been quite a while since either of us have been there. After a long day at work and not really sure what we wanted to eat nor did we want to wait a long time for food we decided to eat at this location tonight about 7:30pm. Bad choice! First, I was taken by surprise that our meal for two with two drinks cost $ 30.29! Like I said it’s been a while since I have ate at Country Buffet. Second, we almost immediately turned around and left after glancing at the pathetic options. Which we wish we would’ve. The roast beef from the Cutlery was extremely dry. The fried chicken was over cooked and tasted like old oil was used, it wasn’t even golden, just a dark dark almost black outside skin, that was also dry. Tried the pre cut steak. Dry. Not everything was bad, but very disappointed with the main courses, main being the majority or highlight of the meal. I know we were not the only the only ones unsatisfied, we over heard two other tables complain about the dryness to the waitress. Lastly, my wife decided she wanted a to go cup for her beverage. Go figure it was going to cost us more money for that, the $ 30 for a poor meal wasn’t enough. I am more then happy to send in my bank statement or copy of the charge since I unfortunately didn’t keep the receipt. But if it is in your hearts to refund my money my wife and I would gratefully appreciate it. Please don’t offer anything for free meals unless it’s at another restaurant chain. Thank You, Chris

This was our first trip to one of these and likely the last. While there was a wide selection of food, and it didn’t taste bad, this particular location was filthy. The floor was gross and the stations for dirty dishes were appalling. The soft drink area was nasty as well. I can’t imagine how they are making any money in that area. Our waitress wasn’t very nice and never smiled. The cashier was on the phone when we first walked in, and we had to wait for her to hang up in order to be waited on. NOT impressed.

Not sure why we bother trying to eat here. This is the second time we’ve been turned away at the door because they close in half an hour. Any other restaurant I’ve ever been to seats right up until the closing time. So much for making Country Buffet better.

Anthony Weido’s TV ads are a lie! It isn’t better, I filled out a comment card listing the many problems and he hasn’t made it right — he hasn’t even contacted me(I didn’t expect him to personally — but his representatives haven’t either! I’m thinking of filing a class action lawsuit for false advertising!!! So much for«You have my guarantee, I’ll make it right!»

Wow!!! Way, way better than it used to be. New choices and improved flavors of food. It seems better set up, things are easier to see, and food seems fresher. They definitely put some thought into improving their food this time around. Both of our picky eating kiddos are raving about the changes. A much needed upgrade.

Received coupons in the mail, one for breakfast for $ 4.99, hell McD is about the same price, but this way I can have a great choice of items… fresh fruits, eggs, anyway, pancakes, waffles, french toast, bacon, sausage, juice, milk, coffee… hell I could go on and on, but you get the picture(altho your drink is another $ 1.79 more). The wait staff is always cleaning your table of used plates and other items. Most importantly… the food isn’t that bad and pretty good considering it’s a cafeteria style restaurant.

You’ll find an amazing array of choices here. It’s up to you. You can pig out. You can be disciplined and put together a meal that meets whatever dietary restrictions or preferences you may have. There are sugar-free desserts and ice-cream and orange sherbet. For Atkins types the steak and non-carb options are great. friday nights there’s salmon for lovers of that fish along with shrimp. personal stir fries. a mexican buffet. salad bar. grill. I’m leaving stuff out! With so many choices, it’s all you! Needed… Wheelbarrow taxi service to take overstuffed patrons to their cars where they can pass out until recovered enough to drive. Family discounts are needed for this service. Know your limits! You’ll be the only one to enforce them at this place!

I really like this place and think the food is good and I have never seen it crowded BUT Lunch buffet ended at 3:30. We got there at 3:35-and she wouldn’t give us the lunch price-charged us for dinner! It is their right, but-geez. I felt it unnecessary. I mean $ 2 a meal can add up to $ 4 for 2 people(I rounded it off). Not a big deal The food is still good and the servers still efficient. They could have gotten 5 stars so easily!

Okay I figured what the hell and try it since we were at Brunswick and I wasn’t sure what I wanted to eat and my little one Loves buffet’s. Can’t beat the price at under 17 $ bucks for both of us including drinks. Well there were a few good things that were tasty and for the price you get a bargain. Most of their stuff looked not very appealing, but they did bring out a fresh batch of fried chicken and that was Delicious! I also liked their grilled cheese because the bread was buttery even though it wasn’t a fresh made sandwich. I also like their taco bar, which was worth my meal/drink costing me less than 10 bucks. Will I go back? Probably not, but hey it was worth a try. Oh I did like their pudding though, their tapioca was yummy!
