I like this Coney Island I’m a fat kid and usually go with the chicken gyro and chili cheese fries it’s a lot of food my girlfriend usually goes with the bacon and cheese omelette which is huge with a side of hash browns she does not even come close to finishing it! For the two of us with tip we walk out spending around 24.00 bucks.

The first impression of this place is that you don’t want to be too big, or you will not fit in the booths, because the seats are set really close to the table. There isn’t much room to easily get in and out of the seats. For the dinner selections, they have three soups. Two of which I could not eat, because I am lactose intolerant. One started off with«cream of» and the other was a cabbage soup. Cabbage has a lot of lactose in it. So, I had to choose the chicken gumbo. It had a nice spiciness to it; yet, you could still taste the chicken flavor. The wife chose their fried chicken and mashed potatoes. She felt that they were good. She regretted getting the bread that came with it though. It had been toasted on the grill with butter melted into it, and the overall flavor profile was that it seemed to be greasy. I ordered their gyro wrap with rice. The gyro was nice. The tzatzki sauce seemed to be fresh, and unlike some tzatziki sauces that I have had the sauce wasn’t broken. The ingredients were all fresh. The meat was juicy. The rice was a bit confusing. It didn’t come on the same plate as the gyro. It came in a bowl of its own. It was a large generous portion. The rice had a nice flavor, but it was a bit confusing as to why it, as a side dish, was presented in a portion size that was more like a main entrée. But, overall, it was an enjoyable meal.

Good coney island, a lil pricey. Great omelets, I enjoy the western myself. Lunch is well enough, I dont go here for dinner

Good job, fresh salad. They need to offer a mini tho, the small is too much. Soup always good.

Service wasn’t the best. I think my waitress was new. The patty melt was eh. A thin frozen burger with some grilled onions, cheese. Lacked flavor and substance. The cream potato soup was good. The 4 star of the meal — the l George omelet!!! Sooooooo yummy. Got it to go. Had it for 3 breakfasts. It was so good! The bad, they stuffed it in a small to go container with my hashbrowns and it leaked through the bag. bad because it was huge, I got a small sampling of hashbrowns. There are many good things on the menu– just have to find them!

Was at Garden City Hospital to visit someone at stopped here to get food since it’s only a mile away from the hospital. I got the lunch special which was a Gyro & Fries for $ 5.95. The sandwich has a good flavor but there was so much sauce and onions on it that I had to dump half of it off in order to eat it. I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again but if I were visiting someone at the hospital, it has decent coney island food that you can get fast.

Good food and good prices. Great coney’s and great breakfast. Excellent service. Very kid friendly. Wait staff have always gone out of their way to meet the needs of the little, needy ones, which is greatly appreciated. Even when they get really busy, food and service has always been good.

I had Chicken noodle soup here. It was just ok. Very few noodles in it and salty. I asked for a slice of bread to go with it. Would you believe when my bill came, I was charged $ 1.39 for bread. Outrageous! I told them about it at the cash register and girl just smiled and said that’s what we charge

Huge omelette. Big hash browns. Son liked the steak pita. Fast service. Otherwise a typical coney island. I’m usually a member of the ‘clean plate award’, but not here. Couldn’t finish the omelette.

I have never had bad food here. I almost always get breakfast, and the omelettes are HUGE and delicious. They don’t come with hash browns, and that’s fine — the omelette is so big by itself the hash browns aren’t necessary. My husband tends to get their Rueben Daddy sandwich. It’s HUGE, and stacked with a lot of meat and cheese and sauerkraut. The only thing I don’t like are their french fries, but I’m not a fan of fries anyway so that’s not a big deal. Great place to eat!

I eat my lunch here workdays more often than not. It’s a great place for a quick lunch no matter how full it gets, which it can completely fill-up at noon that’s why I eat @ 11:30. Service is great and friendly. Usually get omelette’s but the sandwiches are great also,
