National Tire & Battery NTB

This is my place when I need an oil change. I usually grab an oil change as a walk-​in and I’m always out of there in less than an hour. I’ve also used NTB for tires and exhaust repair. The staff is always friendly and the environment is clean. They are honest and get down to the problem.

Scheduled appointment online. Got there. Nobody else there customer wise. Said they were expecting me. Good start. While waiting, used the bathroom. Hasn’t been cleaned since they opened. The coffee area looks just as gross. So almost an hour later they told me they don’t have those tires in stock even though they did online. Maybe they should have looked for them before I came. Didn’t even offer a discount??? Horrible customer service. No wonder why there was nobody there.

I recently visited the NTB Store in Westlake, ohio. I had one tire that had a leak that needed to be patched. I dropped the car off and later received a call that said the tire had two punctures and it could not be repaired. The only course of action would be to replace all 4 tires. The tires only have 20k miles on them and I was NOT going to do that, so I picked up the car.
I proceeded to bring the car to another local mechanic — Guess What! — to my surprise the tire only had one puncture and it was a small screw that was easily patched. The tire is now fixed, with NO help from NTB.
This company attempted to RIP me off and I am sure they do it on a daily basis. Come in for a simple tire patch — leave with 4 new tires. What a RIP OFF.
