Being a hardcore fan of graphic novels and a things Japanese, I decided to take a trip to Astound because I had heard good things. I was sorely disappointed upon arrival. Nary a volume of manga was to be found. There was an excellent selection of other comics that my father took an interest in, but nothing that I enjoyed myself. Even the Japanese toy selection was nothing but big-​breasted, scantily-​clad PVC figurines from outdated hentai. However, even though my needs weren’t tended to here, I’m sure that any fan of DC comics, or any comics for that matter, will find a place here.
