We have a piano that had not been tuned in about 20 years, and Isaac did a really nice job making it sound beautiful. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and made the piano tuning a fun experience for all of us– he even played one of my parents’ favorite old tunes to make them smile. No doubt that we will be regular customers to keep our piano in good shape from now on.

I have been playing the piano for well over 15 years now. Initially the original piano tuner was a pupil of Isaac’s. After graduating high school and leaving for college, I was no longer able to play the piano at home anymore, and it went neglected for well over 10 years. When I decided to move out and bring the piano with me, I knew it was in dire need of tuning.
When I called the number of the old technician, it turned out it no longer worked. I called up Keyboard Concepts and asked if they could recommend a tuner for me, and they recommended Isaac.
When I first met him, he felt strangely familiar, and it was true! He had tuned the piano the first time around when we had purchased it so long ago. Isaac is an encyclopedia of knowledge when it comes to pianos. From just looking at serial numbers and other information, he was able to tell me what year the piano was built, among many other things.
Unlike most technicians who just do a job and present you with a bill, Isaac loves to sit and chat and explain exactly what he’s doing and why. It’s a fun thing to sit there and learn why things are the way they are. Isaac never pushes unnecessary services on you, and recommends maintenance or replacement as necessary. I was afraid after years of leaving the piano alone, it would be a grim diagnosis. The piano was definitely out of tune, and Isaac offered to tune it once, then allow the strings to relax, and retune a second time. The difference was amazing. His skill to tune a piano by ear alone is also astounding.
I’ve had him come out a few times since then to tweak things like stuck keys and a key that wouldn’t sustain and he quickly fixed them without even a sweat. He never charged me anything extra for the quick fixes.
Isaac is great guy, with a good sense of humor, and a very professional attitude. I’d recommend him to anyone with a piano and look forward to purchasing my Yamaha U1 in the future and having him tune it the second it shows up!

For the past 15-​years Isaac has tuned my ancient piano and the sound has remained crystal clear and pitch perfect.
