Meeker’s Florist

I needed an out of season flower and called a couple of florists. One told me they were out of season so they could not get it at all. The other florist, Meekers, went out of their way to find the flower I needed. When it came in, it was not perfect but they did their best to make it very pretty. They did not even charge me for the corsage since they got the flower from their distributor for free. They still had to go to all the trouble of making a wristlet corsage, so I could only thank them very much for their efforts and all the work they did to help me. This is how to run a business!

Sandy was professional and sweet, with a storefront to match. We met on a Saturday afternoon after making an appointment for a wedding consultation. Sandy was super professional, rattling off various options and asking pertinent questions. She clearly pays attention to details and making everything perfect. That said, I would have liked to see more of Sandy’s work herself. We got a gauge of what was available based on looking at FTD catalogs (but not examples of her previous work). The catalogs are organized and easy to flip through, but didn’t give me an idea of her skills. Her website, while pretty, focuses more on arrangements and wreaths rather than weddings. I really liked Sandy’s attention to detail and cozy location, but considering the lower offers we received at other locations, we chose to pass for our wedding flowers.

Received a beautiful arrangement today for my birthday. Received a call from the shop to confirm that I got it.
