Close to us and always great specials and menu changes with every season. Fresh, local options and great location. Whether the bar, outdoor summer seating or by a fireplace you are sure to enjoy the canal. We always get the great lobster mac and cheese(gluten free) or the pork chop with Brussel sprout hash. Make sure to try a drink in a mason jar too like the dark and stormy monsoon which comes with an extra shot of rum floated on top of the ginger beer concoction. We continually leave happy and full on great food & drink. Try to Call ahead just to play it safe as it usually gets busy but not 100% necessary.

Waited over an hour after calling ahead and told 20 minutes. Was not given good service and no real apology for the wait and confusion. Won’t be back.

I’ve been here a few times, and the atmosphere is fantastic. We love sitting out on the patio on the water. The service has always been pleasant, but the food has always been okay(nothing amazing). On our last visit I decided to try a couple of dishes I hadn’t tried before. We got the griddled cornbread and honey butter appetizer, which is delicious, and I ordered the grilled fish tacos entrée. I have to say, as flavorful as the tacos were, I REALLY resent paying $ 16 for two small tacos which had about 1oz of fish combined… and they don’t even come with a side. They’re tasty, but NOT an entrée size and not anywhere near worth $ 16.

Our experience today was very disappointing. Although the grilled corn bread and the steak sandwich were good. The fish sandwich was soggy and the fish tacos were lacking the fish. Also heard the hostess tell an employee that they had to come to work even though she apparently had an intestinal problem and wanted to call out which I believe is against health depth guidelines!

Pros: Bridge-a-Rita Cons: beer on tap is inconsistent and watered down. Presentation and plating is a hot mess. Not very appetizing Silverware dirty. Service is slowwwwwww. Arrived at 7:30. Seated at 8:20. Apps at 9-ish. Still waiting for dinner and its 9:30. Place is empty. Won’t be returning.

I want to like this place, I really do. The concept is great – accessible, local, sustainably sourced food. If only the execution were better. I’ve been here 3 or 4 times, and while none of my experiences were horrible, I’ve been consistently underwhelmed.(Why did I go back so many times, you ask? Well, partly at the request of dining companions, and partly because I really did want to give this place a chance.) But my last visit was the final straw, I think. My husband and I had dinner at Bridge on a not-busy night. Our server was visibly uninterested in providing any level of service. My entrée, which was on special that night, was sloppily presented and bland. It was a fish(maybe halibut? can’t remember, this was a couple months ago) grilled and served with greens and rice. It’s the type of meal I make frequently at home, but I make it better, which makes me reluctant to shell out $ 20 or so for an inferior version. There was no attention to detail or making it look appetizing whatsoever. My husband had the steak sandwich, which was fine, but nothing special. On any given night, maybe you’ll have a better experience, but I haven’t been impressed.

Bridge is always a great spot for a nice dinner. The menu could be a bit more creative to lift it to a 5-star restaurant, but overall it’s good.

This place is awesome! Friendly staff, great ambiance, and best of all, delicious food! We has the black pearl organic salmon, NY steak, gumbo, and clam chowder. ALL of it was incredible! The wedge salad was also good; and the corn bread is to die for! We loved this place so much that we are going back tomorrow for brunch!

Ambiance was sub par, however the bar was nice. The food was decent, nothing to brag about. Overall an average experience.

Before or after tourist season this is the most beautiful and romantic space. Excellent and varied drink menu and appetizers that were tasty and had local products featured will have me returning and hoping the Bridge can hang around longer than Three Little Fish. A beautiful river walk and view make this a must.

I am not exactly sure why we have not visited this place before but am definitely glad we gave it a go today. The atmosphere is great to include the water views and immaculately clean dining area. The bar area, we couldn’t go because we came with three littles, was very cozy with a fire going in the chimney. I was a bit put off by the older crowd who also insisted the music(not loud at all) be turned down which was annoying that they(the waiter) abided immediately. So… it got awkwardly quiet very quickly. Long story short, we will be back. Great food(swordfish BLT, fried chicken sandwich, and choice of homemade chips/fries/sweet potato fries).

This is a really nice restaurant in a great setting! The menu has a lot of variety to it and there is an extensive drink selection. The fish tacos were very good and had a lot of flavor. They also have very good vegetarian dishes and soups too. It’s also worth mentioning that this place is good for kids as we had our toddler with us and the waitstaff were very patient and friendly. The fact that it’s right downtown and easy to get to makes it a very easy place to recommend.

My wife and I came for lunch today. The room was stone cold, they have to turn the heat on an hour before opening. Service was just ok. I don’t like being nickled and dimed, I got the burger and was prepared ok(I can do better) burger $ 12 for the burger the $ 1 for a slice of cheese and another $ 1 for onion. To be honest 5 guys makes a better burger.

I’m having my rehearsal dinner here this fall. The event menu is OUTSTANDING, and the staff is more than friendly. True story, at the end of the day I went to a place around the corner for a beer. One of the girls sitting at the bar recognized me from earlier in the day at Bridge, and she bought me my drink as a thank you. Your staff is even nice to customers AFTER work, haha. Cheers!

Absolutely disgusting customer service. We came with a gift card and they told us the gift card had significantly less on it than it does. We have been calling for days to resolve the issue, but the management speaks over us on the phone and insists we tried to skip out on the check. Don’t go to this horrific place. Update: Luke, one of the head managers, resolved this issue. I am appreciative of him, and we look forward to visiting again.

This place is great. Excellent ambiance, excellent food, and service! The clam chowder was extraordinary and everything was fresh and tasty. Didn’t pick up the salt or pepper once! The menu selections were unique and Classic at the same time with all of your favorites in a new and exciting way. I’d definitely come back here.

My Fiancé and I went there for a wedding and everything was perfect, the bride and groom made an excellent choice! We started with an hour cocktail party in the lounge which is a beautiful room. Hardwood all around and a nice view of the river. Dinner was served upstairs which was just as beautiful, spacious and comfortable for a large group. The menu choices were extensive for a private part, I can’t remember exactly what was on the menu since I don’t eat meat but I can say that everyone was raving about their meal with everything served looking delicious, well prepared and well presented. They accommodated me with Pasta Primavera which was wonderful and just the way it shoud be, fresh vegetables sauteed in olive oil, garlic and Parmesan cheese served over pasta. It was fantastic! It’s worth stopping on your way home from the beach or on your way home from the casino if you live in RI. Skip what they offer at Foxwoods, this is just as good or better then anything they have to offer.

This restaurant has great choices with generous portions at reasonable prices. The pictures I posted plus others I never took pictures of. such as the Halibut special and Ribeye Steak are VG!!! You won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait to get back and try some others I’ve seen. Doing on the river patio is great. Because of the live band playing, inside dining can be a bit loud and intrusive but did enjoy seeing the band play in the bar area later. This restaurant has it all. My only one complaint is that because it’s always packed, you may wait some time for the dinner, understandably, so get an appetizer to hold you over. But you will enjoy It all!!!

This is one of my favorite places in Westerly. We were here a couple time recently. Loved the corned beef hash and eggs. The pancakes are realllyyyy good. We also stopped in for dinner another time. I liked my fried chicken sandwich, cole slaw, and the hummus plate. My friend and I also love the chicken naanwich here. The food and service here are always good and I really like the atmosphere and view of the river.
