Nail Spa

I am literally obsessed with this place. There’s just one trick to make sure your experience here is good… Make sure Connie does your nails. She literally is the best thing that’s ever happened to me when it comes to nails. The other people are pretty horrible at nails but Connie knows what she’s doing. I live in Aurora and will drive all the way to Westchester just for this place. So cheap and so good!

New to the neighborhood and thought I would try this place out. I don’t understand how this place is still in business. I went in for a no chip and pedicure. Thank God I got the pedicure first. I would not let them touch my fingers. The technician I had completed my pedicure in 10 mins and it looked like a 4 year old had painted my toes. It was TERRIBLE. Wow. By the way, they have three pedicure chairs and it is a bit dirty. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to this dump.

See Eliz C review below. I am «mom”/retired nail tech. We have been going to a shop in downtown LaGrange but I was short of time and thought I would see if there has been a change. NOPE! Still nasty dirty, even worse. they seem to no longer sanitize their tools. Yuck! I brought my own polish so I knew that was good. The girl did an okay job and put on 3 coats of color. which I like. It’s good for a quick local mani but if you want pedi, no chip or anything else… look elsewhere!

I started going to this place in 2005 to get my legs waxed because I was young and my mom didn’t want me to shave. The personnel at the time did a great job and I felt comfortable. My mother used to be a nail tech so she is vary particular on how her nails are done. Really, we went there as a treat and a spur of the moment trip. Needless to say when the Nail Spa changed its management and personnel, things got worse.
First of all, my mom and I recently went to get our nails done, We both got nicked by cuticle cutter and we were bleeding. A month later, I went in to get my legs waxed and needless to say it was the worst job. She left the wax on too long on my left kneecap and I noticed the pain. It wasn’t a normal rip, it was a slow rip and it felt like they were ripping my skin off. Also, there was a visible patch of hair left and they weren’t going to do it until I mention it was there. They seem to know it because they seem to have an expression of «Oh darn!» while chattering in Chinese. If I didn’t say anything, they wouldn’t of done it. I paid $ 45.00 for a full leg wax to notice she not only missed several spots I couldn’t see at the time, she actually bruised and left a 5 inch burn mark on the skin of my left knee cap. I could of saved money and pain and just shaved my own legs!
My mother and I have been customers for seven years and now we’ve decided to never go there again for a «treat» or a «spur of the moment trip.»
Don’t go to this place now. It’s not worth your time or your money!

Big fan of the cheap prices. The nail polish selection has grown quite a bit since the last time I was in. They carry OPI and I saw a few Finger Paints-​which I am a major fan of both.
I will say my friend and I experienced super happy cuticle cutting nail techs. I will give them another shot because overall I have always had a pretty good experience.

I wish they had zero stars. I went here on a Sunday because not many shops are open. I wish I would’ve waited because it was a waist of money. They have about 40 nail polishes to choose from so I just choose french tips. I got a fill in on my regular nails usually a nail shop file and buffs until you cant see the old line. all they did was file real quick, buff real quick and partially apply acrylic. I could still see the old line from before on each nail and when I asked he why they looked like that her answer was they look fine. I wanted to tell her just paint them for the cover up but since I rarely wear colored polish and they had nothing I liked, I couldn’t take that route out. She used the white design brush to paint the tip on which looks horrible because my nails are long but the tips dont cover up the length in nail. 2 days later the white was turning brown. Needless to say, no matter how bad I need my nails done, Ill never return.

Went to this place because i recieved a coupon in the valupak. «buy one get one free pedicure» So my mom and I went the place isnt the cleanest and they dont speak very good english. And i suggest if your going to come bring your own polish their selection sucks and is very old and dried out.
My toes were decent but the mani i got was HORRIBLE. I had to tell the woman to paint them over because she legit got the paint all over my fingers, i cannot believe she was actually going to let me walk out of the door with them looking like that.
So whatever she fixed them they still looked like shit but what do you expect i paid $ 24 bucks for a mani and a pedi. So yeah i prob wont be back there anytime soon…
BUT i might try getting a full set which is only $ 15 bucks Mon-​Thurs before 3 i saw them doing a girls and they didnt look bad. cuz you serously cannot beat that price, worth a try.
