Best ices for the money. Excellent selection and service. Always a fun place to celebrate special occasions or anything at all! Go-you’ll love it.

Ralph’s being open is always a sign of warmer months on the horizon, except for this year it seems! I stopped in a couple of days ago & was excited to have my favorite combination of graham cracker & jelly ring! Yay Ralph’s!

Not to impressed with this Ralph’s. Have lived near it for about 16 years… never anything good… Skip this place!

I came here last night to pick up some Italian ices and I can tell it’s was a slow evening(just 1 customer ahead of me). There were 3 girls behind the counter. One was eating a sandwich, one was wiping a counter top and the other one was helping the customer before me. 2 minutes later, I’m still standing in line waiting for someone to take my order. Then a man walked in and skipped the line. The girl who was eating her sandwich approached the counter to take the man’s order. I thought it was very rude and unprofessional to be treated like that. I walked away feeling disappointed.

If you are looking for a light but satisfying dessert, you can’t beat Ralph’s for Italian ices. While there are many Ralph’s Italian Ice stores in Long Island, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island, and New Jersey, I frequent this Ralph’s in Westbury, NY. They serve regular Italian ices, cream ices, and ice cream as well! The regular ices are water based ices and typically contain flavors derived from fruits and chocolate. For water-based ices, I like the tangy Lemon ice, sweet and refreshing Homeydew ice, and the sweet cherry ice. Unlike the Italian ices you typically find in the supermarket, the fact that a majority of the fruit based ices containing real chunks of fruit adds to the particular ice’s authenticity in my opinion, such as real chunks of Honeydew in the Honeydew ice. As opposed to the water based ices which do not contain dairy, the cream based ices contain a touch of cream. Many types of cream ices are available as well and I happen to like the chocolatey Jelly Ring ice with real jelly rings in it, the tart Key Lime ice with lime zest, and the sweet and refreshing Piña Colada ice. For something more than an ice, I recommend the Twister, which is your choice of Italian ice sandwiched between two layers of creamy soft serve ice cream. Considering the quality and portion sizes, the prices are reasonable at about $ 3.75 with tax for a medium ice with 3 generous scoops. If you want to sweeten the deal for your ice, coupons are typically mailed out in the Clipper magazines and Valpaks. The service is also friendly as well! For Italian ices, you can’t beat Ralph’s in my humble opinion!

It seems like Ralph’s has saturated the italian ice market on Long Island. While this place has some good italian ices, I’m still partial to the lemon ice from the Lemon Ice King of Corona. My uncle owns a store in New York that used to get their ices from the Lemon Ice King, and I think these are far superior to any of the flavors from Ralph’s. Unfortunately I can’t have either one, since most people in southern California don’t know what italian ice or have never tried real italian ice because the only kind you can get is from the freezer aisle at the grocery store =[

I’d go here when I was in high school. Instead of lunch, it’d be ices.
