Fortune Smoke Shop

Good smoke shop with a big walk in humidor. I like their selection of cigars and their prices are a bit less than some other smoke shops around the area.
One thing I like to do is shop in peace and not have someone breathing down back like my experience here but that wont prevent me from coming back due to their prices and selection.

Fortune Smoke Shop is close to Roosevelt Field Shopping Mall and a bunch of restaurants on Old Country Road.
While it does not have the luster of say, Nat Sherman, or other nice smoke shops in the city, Fortune has a spacious, clean, walk-​in humidor and a knowledgeable worker inside. If you are looking to purchase a cigar for the first time I’m sure he would make you feel right at home (even though you are not).
The lotto/​convenience portion has two other gentlemen working. The lotto guy is funny and likes to make jokes about the winning numbers and is easy to get along with, unlike most places you walk into and the utter look of depression and ennui on some of the workers faces is just depressing.
The other guy who works at the register where the candy and newspapers and things are is friendly also.

Fortune Smoke Shop is one of my favorite places to frequent, mainly because of two of the men who work here. One of the men is a middle aged Indian man who likes to make jokes whenever he can about your lottery winnings or the winning numbers and he is not afraid to push you into buying more tickets. The older man who I believe to be his father can be just as comical making jokes along with his son making you feel right at home.
They have a nicely sized walk-​in humidor with a nice selection of cigars. The old man will make sure to help you with any assistance needed while perusing the cigars.
I would suggest Fortune if you are in the area and have that craving that only lotto and a nice cigar can satisfy.
