If you’re looking for deals, this is the place to go. Went there for much of my holiday shopping, and found most everything I needed.

This place has GREATDEALS on carpets. I just moved into a new apartment and I thought I was going to have to spend hundreds on nice carpets — not at Job Lot — $ 25 to $ 125 for some great area rugs. Other than that the store is reasonably clean, the bathrooms are descent, and the customer service was A-OK.

I was quite impressed here today. It was clean, it was bright, there was plenty of room to walk through the aisles. The best part is we found everything we stopped in for PLUS a few extras. Now, if I could just convince myself to find reasons to travel this way more often…

Not just the brightest, cleanest, most organized OSJL in the land, this locale also has two massive positives going in its favor. What favor you ask? Only the 2012 Ragingly Random Retail Rodeo Academy, which presents a trophy that looks like a bull standing on its two rear hooves, knees turned in like it has to pee. This is a real thing*: 1) An accessible, cushioned pet bed repository that doubles as a hiding spot for girlfriend scaring. Remarkably effective and guaranteed to cause slow-motion goods flailing. 2) The single most horrifying jigsaw puzzle in all the land is available for $ 3. Proof: If you need another reason to make the trip, then I’ve failed as a guide, a life coach and a father figure. — — — - *it’s not

Gotta say I LOVE JobLot… anyone who shops there must feel the same way. Before I decide I need ANYTHING I think about Job Lot first to make sure I can’t get it there first. You can get stuff here so cheap it reminds me of Spags back in its heyday. Go here for cheap kitchen tools/appliances. Its totally worth it. Not talking dishwashers, but don’t go anywhere else for a toaster over, crock pot, coffee grinder or even pots and baking pans… the CHEAPEST and of same quality you might find at target or wal mart. Also 500 threat count sheets in all kinds of colors for 40 bucks(yup) and full size bath towels for about 5 bucks. Polar soda cans also sold here are ULTRA cheap! This store can also be really disorganized, and yeah sorta dirty. especially on a rainy or snowy day… somehow mud gets tracked all over the store. Not a fan. Employees tend to be also in the high school age range. so not really knowledgeable about products or really all that nice either… Don’t even go to Christmas Tree shop before you give OSJL a try!
