Gourmet Pizza Bar

Issue I have is with delivery. The food is standard «House of Pizza» fair. No complaints there.
I ordered online through a 3^rd party ordering site, and I got all the conformations the order was received, and paid for (including tip based on a % of the total)
I made sure to work around the poor delivery blackout that they have. I received my order with a message from the delivery driver.
Driver: «Uhh. I got to talk to you.» «I don’t think I will be able to deliver here anymore.»
Me: «Oh?»
Driver: «I mean it’s 10 miles 1-​way, and for a $ 3 tip it’s not worth it»
Me: «Okay. That’s fine» *I start to walk away*
Driver: «I drive a V8 and for the distance, it’s just not worth it»
Me: (Now about 10 feet away) «Okay.» *Continue walking away*
I was not going to give him anything else after that even if I did have cash on me. I’m not going to give you a $ 10 tip on a $ 13 order. It’s bad enough the minimum is hard to meet when ordering for 1 person, it’s even worse when I’m accused of being cheap even after a 25% tip.
The best part of this is… I mapped it from the front door of my office, to the Pizza Bar, and it was exactly 4 miles. It’s not even 10 miles BOTH ways. I contacted the service I ordered from, and they have spoken with the restaurant regarding this. I have not ordered since.

I asked for my pizza to be well done it was wasn’t no big deal it still tasted good bit didn’t love my French fries were soggy when they arived served wit warm ketup eww delivery was on time 30 min but just me wished they listened to well done part :(

For lunch, we ordered four small pizzas (ten inches) and fried chicken tenders with buffalo sauce over the phone.
The order was accurate and ready rapidly for pickup.
The pizza «Athena» was extremely bland. The dough was too thick. The chicken pieces were sparse and dry. Nothing gourmet about it…

I’ve been staying at the Marriott extended stay hotel which is 2 minutes away, so for being so close I’d eat here again. But if it wasn’t so convenient I wouldn’t go back. I definitely think any chain pizza would beat this place, hands down. The pizza wasn’t horrible, but wasn’t very good either. The top was burnt, while the bottom was under cooked :(The fries were good, but any place can make fries, so that’s not saying much. The onion rings were nasty, I couldn’t even choke down more than 2. They were similar to Burger King onion rings, but worse :(I was really hoping this place was better and I could have given it a better review.

It took more than a hour for them to deliver. First, excuse was the delivery person comes at 11am & then the excuse, 3 more orders. Stay away from these guys. They are not honest.

I am not sure what these guys are thinking but there food is nasty. Don’t order the Italian sub. I made the mistake of ordering one. It comes with two different kinds of meat ham that looks and tastes like spam and a really cheap bologna /​salami (unidentifiable) the hot peppers is a relish I ordered mine toasted and it was cold. These people call themselves gourmet but their food is subpar at best. For $ 10.00 you can add a can of coke and a little bag of chips they probably bought at the grocery store. They use an apple computer setup and expect tips when you cash out, moreover you have to sign with your finger and touch the screen that everyone else has touch, it’s a petri dish. Total smoke and mirrors business. I’ll never eat their again. You’ve been warned.

We ordered a chicken parm with bacon. The bread tasted as if it was thawed from the freezer this morning. Not even high school cafeteria grade. The bacon was clearly microwavable bacon. The cutlet I would be surprised if it was USDA approved. They used pizza sauce for the tomato sauce. If there is a way you shouldn’t make a sandwich they found it multiple times. I will never go back! Oh and he asked me for a tip. I felt this was a little forward. Don’t get me wrong. I am a good tipper.

From order to delivery under 45 minutes. Rare to get a pizza that is still so hot from the oven that you need to let it cool down before you start to eat.
Chicken tenders excellent as was the barbecue sauce.
Why not 5 stars?
I expected napkins at least and possibly a knife and fork for the chicken tenders. Alas, none were provided.
I’ll reorder from them for sure. Just next time specify napkins and utensils if needed.

This is a great find for pizza slices in the area.
Two very big slices of pepperoni and a drink for 8 bucks.
about the same price as Papa Gino’s but much higher quality.
They have decent subs and they seem friendly enough.

Had issues waiting over an hour with online delivery. However when my two year old and I went to the location for lunch we had a great experience. The pizza was so good. The staff was also great with my little one and brought his slice over all cut up for him. I would not do delivery again but would definitely eat there again.

Arrived 7pm, place was empty. ordered fresh pizza and when «cooked» they couldn’t get it out of the pan. Refund!

Waited 1:20 minutes for delivery. Food was ok– but it’s hard to overcome waiting so long.
Don’t order the Caesar salad. Came with balsamic dressing. Ordered buffalo wings– the buffalo sauce came of the side. I will try this place one more time.

Just got the Spicy BBQ roast beef wrap. the roast beef is dry, overcooked, and tastes a little weird. I’ve had other food from here before that was fine, but this «special» wrap was pretty disappointing

My office relocated to the office park across Rte. 9 on 11÷15÷14. There is nothing close by that offers counter service for lunch except this dump. I bought a wrap, tiny bag of chips, and 12oz can of soda for $ 10– OUCH!
The counter service was very poor and I had to wait nearly 20 minutes for my sandwich to be made. I watched as nearly 7 customers came and went with their orders fulfilled.
I asked twice if my order was up. Each time they looked at me as if I had two heads and told me to wait. When my wrap was ready they handed it to me with a look that I interpreted was «here is your order ass hole.»
I would rate the quality of my wrap Three Unilocal Stars out of five — so so.
The pizza looked good. but the reviews on Unilocal suggest I’m better off brown bagging lunch rather than give these second-​rate Gourmet Pizza Bar boobs another chance.

My company recently moved near here so thought I would give it a try as I order lunch for the company a lot. I figured I would get a BLT sub. Simple but for me says a lot. What a disappointment. For $ 8 I got a sub that had a total of 3 pieces of bacon. It had more cheese on it than bacon. For a lot less money I can go to just about anywhere else and get a substantial sandwich. Oh well, will be ordering for the company some where else!

I like the online ordering, very user friendly and convenient. I ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza which was pretty good! However I would have enjoyed more pizza sauce. My boyfriend has the Italian sub which I had some of. I thought it was good except that the bread seemed stale and wasn’t toasted. I liked the spicy relish, however my boyfriend likes traditional Italian subs and would rather not have the relish. I would still recommend however

The place is alright but not fantastic. It’s a pizza joint and nothing to write home about. Just stopped by for quick slice and apps.

as we all know… some people are over-​critical. I’ve dished out some negative reviews before but nothing for something as petty as some of things I see people critiquing these guys for… anyway.
Some days are good and some are bad. A lot of people go out of their way when it’s bad. Not as many when it is good. Today I had yet another good experience with Gourmet Pizza Bar. Over the weekend my company treated me as well as the rest of our employees to anything we wanted from the menu. We have over 18 employees at this car dealership. Gourment pizza bar handled our special order in a timely manner and did not make ANY mistakes! Kudos to them! That alone deserves merit.
Today I decided that I’d give them a shot by myself. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries for $ 7.75 and however much the bacon cost. I also ordered a 12Oz can of soda. The total was $ 12 which is just right for a gourmet sandwich (which to me is anything made outside a fastfood restaurant)
The food and french fries were excellent. I asked for them extra crispy and they came extra crispy. They were salted to perfection. Required no extra babying once I received it. I was happy to give the driver a tip as he comes here often for our deliveries so he made it here just in time.
the only very small critique I have which is a positive one is make sure you let your drivers know what they’re delivering and how to carry the delivery package.(which side up) because when I got my sandwich it was upside down and kind of fell apart in the box. NO MAJOR ISSUE for me. I dont mind putting it back together but Id also prefer not to. So for that reason 4 stars but other than that I’d say go ahead and give these guys a chance to win your business and I’m positive that if they don’t make it right the 1^st time the 2^nd time will make up for it.
Im not in any way related to these guys and work at a completely different company. I just want to make it clear that good service deserves good reviews.

This place needs a new name, because the pizza was anything but gourmet. I had a slice of cheese pizza, which typically is pretty tough to go wrong with… here, not so much. I used no less than 10 napkins to soak up excess grease. Even after that, the slice was terrible. I won’t be back.

Have you ever gone up to order something and got the feeling that you were imposing on the person on the other side of the counter? That was my experience here at the Gourmet Pizza Bar.

We decided to stop by for a bite to eat and picked this place because it is right off of the highway (495). The food was actually decent. In fact, I would have given it 3 stars had it not been for the poor customer service that I observed while I was there.
We ordered a chicken Caesar wrap and an antipasto salad. The wrap was good; fresh romaine, warm grilled chicken and fresh croutons nicely dressed. The antipasto salad would have been better with just crispy romaine instead of the mixed greens.
Owner, if you read this, put some effort into your customer service skills. I think you’ll find that it will payoff nicely!
