Stayed here overnight. Hotel was painting outer walls and all the windows are taped out. Not bad for the price. Everything was relatively clean. Staff was friendly.

we just stayed here for 22 days, we were on a long assignment for work. But you know, our experience was pretty great. the front desk staff is very helpful, there is a laundry facility on site, they even give you quarters for it, and housekeeping that cleans out the kitchen area, and the room etc once a week is more than suffice. You don’t need to pay $ 5 if you don’t want to(for mid week sprucing up) just go to the front desk, and ask for towels, etc they’ll give you an entire set… thats what I did for one of the weeks I preferred not having someone come upto my room just to make my bed — i was working from my room most of the times, and I enjoyed my privacy The hallway carpets could use an overhaul, but a studio apt with dishes, pots pans, fridge, stove, microwave for $ 65/night is a pretty good deal to me

I’ll give them two stars because their friendly front desk staff certainly tried hard. They went out of their way to cheerfully explain what the hotel offers, and they gave me a handy map of the town with a list of restaurants that deliver and other shopping spots. That was very cool, and I wish every hotel I stayed at gave such thought about what their travelers might need. BUT, with all that said, let the ranting begin: I travel for a living; I’m in a new hotel every week. I’m not too much of a hotel snob; I just ask for a clean comfy room. Alas… this one misses the mark. Hallway carpets are more stained than your 5th grade brother’s underroos. The dishtowels in the kitchen haven’t been washed since a few guests ago and have visible crusted-on food. The silverware in the drawer was dirty. There were dead ants(better than live, I suppose) in the tub. There were pubes of unknown origin on the toilet and in my bed. You have to pay $ 5 to get fresh towels or for them to straighten up, I kid you not. While I understand the philosophy of the Extended StayAmerica chain is a DIY approach to keep costs down, but I didn’t think that applied to pube-removal. Oh well, one more night and I’m outta here.
