Chapel of the Cross

Having relocated a few times, I usually have trouble finding a church to call home in a new town. So I was thrilled to find this first, just down Flanders road from the Residence Inn where we first stayed. Excellent children’s programs, and open hearted, down to earth people. I was in women’s Bible study here for months and my daughter participated in the Gem’s program scheduled at the same time. I made some great friends and connections here. Services are scriptural based, and pastor is quite humble, funny and amiable. My daughter is rather reluctant in New situations, but the games, singing, and art activities drew her in. Now she greets the children’s director with a hug every time. Don’t miss the Easter Egg Hunt, which is the best I’ve ever seen! People turn out in droves, but it’s extremely well planned and organized. Great free food, games, and activities.
