We came here for mothers day at 1pm and waited 20 minutes until they just gave us our drinks, then after 15 more minutes they finally gave us the breads, after 1.5 hours with no bread or salad or water we finally received our dish, we were ready to get up and leave, very bad customer service. I’d rather go to wendys or taco bell instead

We’ve been to this Bertucci’s a few times over the years when passing through Springfield and in need of a quick bite. The location is convenient and the staff is friendly, the complimentary rolls and flavored oil are a hit, and the unlimited salad at lunch is alright(yes, you do want another bowl, and if you didn’t like the dressing on the first batch, you can and should request a different one!), but the other food is only so-so. The pizza is alright, but this trip we made the mistake of trying their 7.99 lunch special again and regretted it. Basically, corporate doesn’t know how to design a sandwich, and although rosemary focaccia may sound like a fine way to build a lunch, it is too thick(and dry) to effectively hold fixings, even if they didn’t haphazardly pile on a(small) processed piece of chicken, too many loose chopped up tomatoes and various greenery and dressings. Your side is either soup(they should leave off the cheese or at least ask first!) or an undistinguished cold pasta salad. Our advice: skip both and just order a regular pizza to share!

So this is my second time coming and reviewing and all I want to say it’s so much better. I got fresh bread rolls and oil. The pizza was amazing the bersheta pizza is to die for and the staff is absolutely amazing. Also don’t forget to try the Cesar salad it’s amazing

Their food is a little above average and the wait for them is a little hefty. Their service was excellent though

We usually are Olive Garden fans but we had already tried calabras and really disliked it so last night for date night we decided to try bertuccis and wow I don’t regret it! The food was amazing garlic knots fried mozzarella pizza was out of this world. I didn’t give it the 5 stars because the sausage soup it was awful and also because we informed our waitress it was our first time visiting and she wasn’t really much help. But that wouldn’t stop me on going again to have some lasagna.

We had a great experience here for dinner this weekend. Our waiter was on the ball and never missed a beat. Food came out fast and hot. Always filled up our water glasses and brought us more rolls and garlic oil without us asking. A great waiter makes a an better experience. We had farmhouse salad with a pizza and it was tasty. You can buy $ 100 worth of gift cards for $ 85 at Costco and then if you watch for restaurant specials it’s worth the price. Would go here over Olive Garden.

As always, lunch is quick, hot and delicious. I ordered the Rosemary Chicken and it was juicy. The sandwich was seasoned well. Will order this one again.

My family and I came here on a busy thurs night(one of the painting things were going on) and we were able to be seated quickly. The kitchen was backed up a bit, but the service was still great. All the managers and wait staff were running around, helping each other out, checking on us, etc. I didn’t feel like we were forgotten in the shuffle. I appreciated the managers taking the time to come around and talk to us. The food was really good and they comp’d dessert for the wait. I’ll have to come back more often.

After a midday shopping trip & spirited discussion over Olive Garden, Bertuccis or Carrabas, we decided on Bertuccis. Before I get into the nitty gritty, let me just say the warm rolls with olive oil dipping sauce are to die for. I entered carb heaven! And the salad with Italian dressing is a very tasty start though overwhelmingly iceberg. My girls went with spaghetti & meatballs and a pepperoni calzone. Both pronounced them«good» & took home half. My husband went with the sporkie flatbread which he said was«ok». I’m still trying to interpret his statement that he could get better at home. Should I be insulted or pleased? I went with the chicken milanese focaccia with sausage soup. The soup had a nice tomato based broth with ground sausage & rice. Very tasty. The sandwich had such potential with a fried chicken cutlet, arugula, fresh tomato & lemon vinaigrette… but alas was served cold. Serve this warm & all the flavors will awaken & meld together. Our server was very attentive, keeping up on drinks & water etc. Bertuccis, like all chains with me, will never be a destination. If I’m in the area & pressed for time, then I’d stop in again.

I won’t lie their margarita pizza is one of my favorites! I love the rolls and dip as well. This place never disappoints me and it fulfills my pizza cravings. Last time I visited our waitress helped me pick out a wine and its now one of my favorite wines! Thank you!

To be fair, we didn’t eat here so I can’t comment on that. This review applies only to my experience at the bar. My husband and I went here one might to grab a drink before going to dinner elsewhere. The experience was not awesome. I asked what the Sam’s seasonal was on tap and it was still the summer(this was in October). Even though I wanted an Oktoberfest, I got the summer because I didn’t like anything else they had on tap. The beer had a funny taste. It seemed like the tap was probably dirty or it was just really old beer! The bar is also small and was full of people who were drinking by themselves. It made me a little sad.

My mom and I come here all the time and get a personal pizza together. Usually the pizza is good but today was AMAZING!!! I went in and told the manager and David the chef how wonderful it was!!! We got the verde pizza and it was to die for! It’s defiantly our new favorite! Thanks Bertuccis!!!

Not very authentic Italian. More like a step above Olive Garden. The waitress kinda warned me that the sauce was watery in the dish I was gonna order(Chicken Domani) so I quickly switched to my back up choice(Baked Tortellini and Chicken Gratinati). The food was ok. You get warm rolls but salad costs extra.

Manager served cold coffee, but Emily noticed and made a fresh one. She was very pleasant and started friendly conversation with me as I was having lunch alone at the bar. Her hospitality would be the main reason I would return.

Food’s never been a disappointment. The best waitress there is this lady named Laurie L. I think she’s got a pretty sweet gift to serve & multi-task the way she does. If you can, try to ask for her & you’ll be taken care of. She never gives attitude about stuff. Great food plus great customer service equals a satisfactory experience! :-)

I love Bertucci’s. I’m on the road a LOT and visit this chain for lunch often. THIS location I have visited only two times. The first time was for lunch and the server wasn’t very good. He kept getting our drinks mixed up and the wait time was terrible. I am ashamed to say that I forgot to leave the tip… but we were late. The second visit was worse. We didn’t get our bread and oil, or drinks for about twenty five minutes. Finally the bread came after our salads and a minute or so before the meals. I don’t think I will visit this location again but I definitely will visit Bertucci’s other locations.

West Springfield’s Riverdale Rd is going for a theme; chain Italian restaurants. Bertucci’s, Olive Garden, and Carrabba’s are clumped together. Bertucci’s was there first, and continues to be busy on weekends. Enough said. The food is good, the service is friendly. They change the menu often enough to keep it interesting. We’ve had a birthday party there, and they were great!

Although I’m a fan of locally-owned places, I do love the food and service at Bertucci’s in West Springfield. The food is tasty — a few favorites include the 30th Birthday Eggplant Napoleone, Baked Tortellini & Chicken Gratinati, Rigatoni Abruzzi, and the brick oven pizzas. Another reviewer mentioned that the wine is overpriced, but I don’t agree. While it’s certainly not as cheap as you can buy it at home, it’s nowhere near as jacked up as many restaurants. This is definitely a chain restaurant worth visiting again.
