This place was fantastic, and I never would have found it without Unilocal.I polished off my kid’s gf chocolate chip pancakes — I’m gf and we had to verify with the waitress that they WEREGF because they were so fluffy and delicious! My bacon and eggs plate was so big I couldn’t finish it. Everything was amazing, fresh, generous portions, and reasonable prices. Can’t wait to come back!

Not far off of 91 in West Springfield, Mass. We were greeting right away and everyone was very friendly. Expect to have a wait, but anyplace that has good food, there will be a wait, so we waited. They had antique type of atmosphere with different types of tables and some couches for seating, very cool. They use local food and everything seemed to be very fresh. I would recommend for breakfast or lunch.

I have been here a couple of times since moving to the area. Breakfast was very good, huge omelet, with choice of bread and different sides, can get grilled potatoes or a nice cup of fruit, only about $ 10 for this. For lunch, great specials, and they feature local as much as possible. Had the meatloaf sandwich w/cranberry mayo special, one of the best I have ever had. Also has a great décor, different mis-matched chairs and tables, many looking like they are right out of Nana’s kitchen. Service was very friendly and attentive. Only negative I really have is the really small size of beverages(maybe 8 – 10 oz. plastic cup). While they do give refills, the small cup means you need one often, and when they are busy, which is most of the time, can be hard to get the server’s attention. Overall, great local place, and will be back.

First time at this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. I did not know what to expect when I ordered a meat and cheese omelet that was huge and delicious. Service was as good as the food and waitress was very pleasant. Would recommend this to anyone.

They have good food. Excellent service. The environment is lovely and I enjoyed there music play list. It was very different. I also love that they support local farms. Gluten free choice as well.

I love the mismatched tables, chairs, plates and mugs! The food is always excellent. I love soup and Cathy never disappoints. I wish I could make an omelette like her! My favorite is ham, brussel sprouts and Swiss. The meatloaf sandwich is awesome and on special often. During the week service is perfect. On the weekends that little place fills up fast, you may wait for a table or a refill on your coffee but the wait is worth it. Amy is our favorite!

This is some of the best food I’ve eaten out. It’s farm-fresh, organic, and often gluten-free or vegan. The staff is warm and welcoming and the service is fast. I get something different on the menu every time and I’m never disappointed. Cathie has a following – once you’ve eaten at the restaurant once, it’s hard not to come back for more!

I decided to order an apple pie and pumpkin pie for thanksgiving after finding business on Unilocal.I am sorry to say that these pies were the worst pies i have ever remember trying in the past. The apple pie was tasteless and the pumpkin was not even as good as one you would get in grocery store. I felt for 25 $ a pie that i was robbed.

We tried eating here for lunch and loved it! At the outset it is cash only which posed somewhat of a problem as we never happen to carry cash on us — but now we know so we’ll make sure to bring cash when we know we’re coming in the future. The décor is kitchy — different tables, mismatched chairs, mismatched plates etc. But it works in there. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The menu is fairly limited but still plenty of options. I opted for the turkey rachel which was a special of the day. I LOVED this sandwich! It was sliced turkey, homemade coleslaw(wow!), swiss cheese and dressing on country white bread. Really delicious and huge! I definitely didn’t leave hungry. The sides choices were fruit salad, side salad, coleslaw or breakfast potatoes. I opted for the potatoes and they were cooked nicely. My husband had an omelet(breakfast is served all day) and he thought it was delicious as well. We will certainly be back!

This is a fantastic brunch place! Cute and homey. I wish they were open on Sundays however! Everything is well done and omelettes are huge! I also like that they give you a generous side of bacon… so many places you order a side and you get 3 – 4 small strips. Not here! They are great!

Wow what a great breakfast. The omelette was as good as MY auntie used to make. Auntie Cathie’s was a great find for someone not from the area. Its actually a better find for those who are in the area because you can go all time, I can’t it’s to far. Everything was fresh and delicious. I’d say I’d go again but in not sure if I’d be there again, but if I am I know where my bread will be buttered, and my eggs scrambled or pancakes flipped. The staff was kind and I was amazed how crowded it was on a Wednesday. It was like a Sunday in most places. She’s doing something right. Yes really good food. Cash only.

Surprising find near-ish Baystate! Love that this restaurant incorporates(and advertises) local food into its menu. Large breakfast portions and fair prices.

This place is absolutely amazing and reminds me of a restaurant you would see on Diners, Drive In’s and Dives. They use all local ingredients and most are gluten free. The blueberry pancake was one of the best pancakes I have ever had. The service was also great. My new favorite breakfast spot.

Great breakfast place which supports your local farmers and artists. I believe all the food is gluten free. I highly enjoyed the giant fluffy pancake(short stack) I got for breakfast. All the staff was very friendly and receptive. This place reminds me of some of the cafes you would find in northern CA.

Awesome homemade food! Small menu but they get all of their ingredients from local farms and can only sell what they can get from the farms. It’s a great atmosphere with random tables and chairs giving it their own charming touch. The staff was great and attentive. I ordered the grilled meat loaf sandwich it was amazing it had their own cranberry mayo on it with a side of home made cole slaw which is the best I’ve ever had. I can finally say that I’ve found a place with excellent slaw!!! Try it you’ll love it. Everything is gluten free on their menu.

Cash only. A fun and unique place. Mismatched tables, sofas, chairs and mugs make it kitchy and charming. A very small but well done menu. Bakery goods tempting you in showcase. Attentive servers kept smiling and refilling coffee. I had the brie, apple and bacon omelette with homefries. Very good. The real show stopper was the toast was made with scrumptious homemade 9 grain bread. Do you like little jelly packs? So sorry. Lol. The jelly here is homemade. Was there a downside? The place fills up fast so it was hard not to feel guilty about lingering while people were lined up outside. With that being said, our server never rushed us and kept filling up our cups. If you look for gluten free… their whole menu can be ordered gluten free. A great place that pays attention to the details.

Discover this quiet spot in West Springfield they Unilocal. AWESOME place ! The food is all homemade. Specialising in gluten bakery. I had the black bean soup and. ½ Sandwich chicken salad on gluten free bread !! Tomato, lettuce and pickles on the side. The wait staff was friendly and was always ready to refill the coffee. When I left I took to go a gluten free Boston Crème Cupcake ! Going to eat that for Dessert tonight.

I love simple carbs. Love, love, love, love, love them! I was heartbroken when I had to go GF(gluten free). But now, I have been saved!!! Yesterday I had real french toast smothered in fresh berries and whipped cream! Hallelujah! A few days before that I had blueberry pancakes, all light and fluffy and dripping with real syrup. Yes, all you GF folks, you can have your pancake and eat it, too!!! Thank you Auntie Cathie!!!
