Nick was a great server and dealt with our handicapped crew so sweetly. However I am concerned about some changes in RE I perceive. I have posted a private message to RE and I hope that management (that has been strangely absent for some time I notice) will take into consideration

Nice little local bar. Cheap Beer with nice bartenders. Great Tacos on Wednesday night and Dawn makes the best Chicken Wings!!!

Ok, West Capitol Ave is gnarly and rife with those on the «stroll», but don’t let that deter you from visiting this spot for a libation or friendly game of pool.
Oldman digs dive bars and he wanted me to take him to any dive bar in my old hood’. I explained that I never frequented dive bars in West Sac, because they kind of scare me.
This is the only one I could think of that wouldn’t make me nervous, or give me the hep. I kid.
I do have a soft spot for this place as my cousin used to own this bar, many moons ago. I have fond memories of hopping up on a barstool and ordering screwdrivers (of course I was served just straight orange juice), and taking breaks outside to puff on candy cigarettes and watch the «strollers», while my other cousin attended to the cool in-​ground safe and banking duties. Oh, the good ol’ days (how did we survive to tell these tales of second-​hand smoke, riding in open truck beds, and biking sans helmet?).
The inside has changed quite a bit from when I was a kid. There’s a little stage, and several pool tables. And, according to one of the bar patrons — pool games are free on Sundays. The kitchen is still there, and apparently food still seems to be served sometimes. The bartender was friendly and the few folks there seemed to all know each other. Wasn’t scary at all. And, I let the Oldman come close to beating me in our very competitive game of billiards.

Went here hoping to get some dinner. Not that kind of place.

Went here for a concert tonight and it was amazing!!! I

I came here with a friend and it was around almost 11 pm, pretty dead for a Monday. Bartenders were really friendly and talkative. I asked if they can make me a virgin strawberry daiquiri and they whipped one up without a problem. Very festive and decorated on the inside. First bar I’ve been to in West Sacramento!

I love walking in a place and everyone is happy to see u ! And i am happy to see them, customers and all the bartenders. This neighborhood bar has great service. You get a nice ice cold frosty glass of beer with a coaster !!! The bar is very clean, great jukebox and great food!!! This is our favorite neighborhood bar now. The bartenders are all about taking care of all the customers. Oh almost forgot great pool tables!!!

Ok — like the bar — large, roomy, plenty of space at the bar and otherwise. good music on the box, decent felt on the pool tables. however I was a bit frustrated with the bartender who struggled with English. I could barley understand her as her accent was so thick and I had to repeat myself several times to order a drink. She did not understand what I meant when I said I wanted my whiskey «neat» and proceeded to pour it over ice, then tried to strain it when I objected. no no no! Other than than the English as a second language issue we would most likely go back.

this place is great!!! very friendly bartenders. a great place to get something to drink and have fun with friends they also have pool tables. you have gotta trying their hott chicken wings it is really spicy and delicious. i would have to say the best in sacramento, compared to other places. also the philly cheese steak sandwich is great as well. give them a try!!! i will certainly be going back.
