Palladio Day Spa

Thought I’d give this place another chance since the first time they did a horrible job on my pedicure, but my full set came out just as bad as my pedicure. Their customer service is horrible. They rushed to get my nails done and the nail shapes are all different on each nail. Never again. Lesson learned.

My experience at this place was not pleasant at all! The place is dirty, feels like they don’t sanitize or clean any of their instruments. Now, the workers… Mary did an AMAZING job on my toes, but there’s a lady by the name of Julie, who was rude, and gave me attitude when I pointed out that she left some black fibers in my nails (in my white nail polish) she tried telling me it’s how my nails goes. Like really? And when I asked her to fix it, she gave me attitude. Very unprofessional.

I’ve visited here a few times and each time the gel manicures/​pedicures are so sloppy and terrible. The worst part is, my manicurist, Money, was apparently the manager and having someone shadow her while she did my nails. They were sloppily chopped extremely short, I was never asked if I wanted a shape or anything, and the gel manicure is uneven, bubbly and spilling over the edges. Never again.

The best day spa I had ever been to. The girls are great. They take care of me right away. Thuy who does my nails is an incredible artist. My nails always look great and I receive compliments all the time. I don’t recommend anywhere else. I love it here.

I would have loved to email Palladio directly with my thoughts and concerns, but there is no email contact info on their webpage.
Today was my second trip to Palladio. My first trip was great. We (a girlfriend and I) were greeted kindly and quickly attended to for pedicures even though we were walk ins. We were offered an assortment of cold beverages and the tone of everyone that attended to us was kind, smiley and laughing. We LOVED our experience. Then today happened…
Sadly ONE bad apple is ruining it for these guys for me. Money, whom I understand is a manager. I made appointments for (3) pedis & Manis. We are prepping for a wedding. Our appt was for noon. I walked in at noon and tried to check us in… Money was relatively cold and only worrying about getting me to sign in (uhh… I made appointments??). I was seated and the gals that started with me were super nice. just a few minutes behind me my 1^st friend came in and was caught in route to me to sign in, again– the girls helping here were kind. My 2^nd girlfriend was running 10 minutes behind and I had instructed her to meet us in the back where we were. as she came in and walked into the back Money interrupted her and seriously BARKED at her that she need to go sign in, ignored that she was there meeting us and that we were already speaking. My girlfriend stopped mid-​sentence, turned around and followed instructions. When she sat down, Money attended to her and when at that point my girlfriend was completely turned off and decided she only wanted a basic pedicure and was only staying at that point for me– Money tried to upsell her and turned cold and immediately changed to speaking in a pissed off tone in Vietnamese. To top off the SUPER awkward remainder of the experience… an hour and 10 minutes into being there the super kind hostess finally arrived and offered us something to drink… as our fingers & toes were drying…
To all the girl that took care of my and my first friend– Hats off to you (aside from offering us a glass of water on a 100 degree day)… but to Money– you lost (3) ladies today with your sharp tone and lack of professionalism. No way. I did not make appointments for myself and my friends and plan to come in and spend what we did so that I could watch my friend be barked at and made to feel uncomfortable. We’ll find somewhere else.

Do not come here! Once I sat down for my mani/​pedi, they asked me which package I wanted & when I chose the cheapest package in the interest of time, the lady’s whole demeanor changed & she immediately started speaking in Vietnamese to her coworkers while glancing at me repeatedly. I don’t have to speak the language to know you’re talking about me, genius. Next time, maybe you should try being pleasant to your customers when you’re working for tips. Ironically enough, this woman’s name was Money. Never again.

They have great customer service, and they are very polite. I run a lot and tend to have rough feet and they pay good attention to detail on the areas of my feet that I point out need it the most.

I love this place, and let me tell you I’m super picky about my nails. When I lived in Midtown Sacramento, I bounced around from nail salon to nail salon only finding a few that made the cut. I moved to West Sacramento a year ago and found Palladio Nail Spa because it is near my house. Boy do I wish I found it when I lived in midtown, I would have been coming here the entire time. All the girls that work there are extremely nice, I have never had to wait to get my nails done, they serve you wine or water during your service and it is the ONLY nail salon I have ever found where each nail tech is just as good as the next!

I always have great service here! I’ve been here too many times to count now. They really spend a lot of time on each of their customers.
Last year, I came in with my bridal party of 7 and they accommodated everyone and gave me an extra special service.
I’ve never had a problem with this place in the 2 plus years I’ve been going.

These ladies are AMAZING! I went to go get a manicure and took my 7 week old baby thinking she was just going to sleep the whole time, nope. The girls asked to hold her and walked around the salon for 30 mins with her! very sweet ladies. And my nails look awesome!

Came to the location on 2÷10÷16 for a gel fill, then over the weekend my thumb and index finger chipped. What’s upsetting is I had given a huge tip for the hospitality and kindness (40%). The gel was so thin on my nails that I had to go back and asked them to redo. I’m sad Tina is on vacation, and the work was not satisfactory. Now I’m sitting here for 10 minutes, on my lunch waiting for them to fix them. I live in Citrus Heights, so the only time I get to get this done is on my lunch.
Gets better, I asked for the gel to be corrected and I got the gel color corrected. See pic and you be the judge.
Will need to reevaluate if I’m going to return next time.

Two stars because the place seemed clean enough, but nothing too good past that. Very few colors to choose from and the place where the colors are is so dark you can’t really see what you’re choosing. Pedicure was fast. Not much done, but it was ok. Manicure was rushed and poorly done. All my nails are different shapes and most are crooked. When she was done I had to ask her to refile at least 6 of them because the Polish was slopped on over the edges of the nail bed. Would not come back.

Holly did a great job! I’m from LA, and I have a regular shop there. I have problem nails, and I didn’t have to tell her anything. Whenever I’m in Sac, she’ll be a go to. I also like Golden Nails in Natomas, but Palladio is a must in West Sac.

Environment is great! Customer service is great. Every Time I come they serve me a glass of wine. I get my nails done by TOM, I always leave happy! Pays attention to detail.

Loved my toes! Basic pedicure came with a lot more then I expected! She explained everything to me (I’m new to pedicure) 2^nd one. Fist time there! and I will be back!

I’m going to be completely honest: about a month and a half ago I swore I would NEVER come back here because they charged me $ 25 for my 7 year old granddaughter’s pedi when they quoted me $ 10 when we walked in. Apparently a flower on each big her toe upped it $ 15. What lured me back? Ivy. I was going to Luxury Nails for 3 years and when my 2^nd tech left I decided to try across the street. When I called to book an appointment, I told them I was very fussy about my nails and to please book me with «the best» they had. Well they did. My girl Ivy knows exactly what I want and does just that!
I do have some complaints about Palladio though. It is way more expensive than any other nail shop I’ve been to, and they seem to be very unorganized at the front desk. They have a couple different girls that work the reception area and even though they go around and ask how much the tech is charging for the service they are providing, there is always confusion when it comes to the total when you get up front. It’s just basic lack of communication so that seems to be fixable. The price thing will probably only get worse, but I will continue to go back to get my nails done by Ivy because I know she will do an excellent job and I don’t want to keep searching for a decent tech. I guess that’s just the price of beauty! One thing though, I will go somewhere else for my pedi’s and save some money there as I don’t think there is anything special about their pedi’s that I can’t get elsewhere.

Love this place! Prepare to be pampered and feel relaxed when you come here. Katie and Money were great and in fact I haven’t found anyone I don’t like.

Busy on a Sunday morning but they had enough staff to accommodate everyone. My husband and I came in a few minutes after they opened and there were several people seated in the massage chairs already.
We chose to get the Ultra Pedicure ($ 35). We were lead to our chairs and given iced tea and water. The chairs were very comfortable and the tech’s working on us were friendly. My polish came out perfect.
Minus one star for the water temperature. So incredibly hot, nearly scalding. Please check the water temperature before having your customer dunk their feet. The paraffin wax was unusually hot as well. My last pedicure included the wax and the tech made sure to push the wax around in the bag before putting my feet in to make sure the heat was evenly distributed.
We were able to use both of our Unilocal check-in’s to get the additional $ 5 off each of our pedicures using the same tab. Ask if they can add in the tip prior to swiping your card. We felt awful, thinking that we could add in tip on the receipt and found that we couldn’t. We came back with cash after running to the ATM.
Overall solid place to get a pedicure in West Sacramento. Hoping to be back here once a month!

$ 25 gel manicure and it comes with hand/​arm hot towel massage. not all manicures come with that! They have many MANY stations and lots of workers, hardly any wait time and they do a good job. Love my new mani!

I’m extremely torn on giving them a 3 or 4 star. I always come here for anything… Massages, full sets/​fills, pedis.
Today, 7÷13÷15, I made an appointment for 4:30 pm knowing they closed at 5 hoping it wouldn’t be busy and that I could be in and out by the time they closed if not a few minutes later. I got a basic pedicure and a full acrylic set, pointed shapes nails.
Julie did my pedi and did a fantastic job, as she always does.
The man who did my acrylic full set I had never seen working on any customer, just hanging around. He was kinda nice, but also seemed mad the entire time he was doing my nails. I had to ask him 3 – 4 times to make my nails straight and even. He tried… I guess. Then while filing my nails to make them pointed like I had asked, got distracted by someone talking to him and filed the side of my nail down to where I started bleeding. He apologized but I couldn’t help but tear up a bit. He put a cotton ball and some green solution (I don’t know what it was) to help the bleeding stop. Once it did he finished his sanding, filing, etc. It was about 5:45 pm when he actually painted my nails. A whole hour? I understand with the cut, but man, I didn’t expect it to be that long! He sprayed something on my fingers, I think it was alcohol, and my cut immediately burned — as will all cuts. He didn’t seem to take into consideration how I felt about my cut. I mean that HURT! He painted them a very pretty pink that I love and then did the top coat. Once my nails were done drying I noticed there was still residue on my nails from the top coat. I understand wanting to get out of there, but if he would have taken his time I wouldn’t be so mad.
I paid $ 50 for all of this. Not bad, but because of his attitude and the lack of consideration into working on my nails, I asked to get a free design for next time. He asked Money (I’m guessing she is the manager because I asked for the manager) and she said yes. Thank you Money for caring about your customers at least a little bit.
I love this place — it’s very relaxing and usually not busy, but today was the worst experience I’ve ever had there. :(
