Lord’s & Lady’s Hair Salons

I came into Lord’s & Lady’s for a color correction. I told the lady on the phone that I had faded blue hair and I needed to go back to a more natural shade for work. She said it wouldn’t be a problem and told me to come the next day. I got there and the stylist first words were «I don’t know what we can do with your hair» and basically made me believe there was no hope on it. I explained that I had a job interview and I was ok with doing anything to it (even go black if needed). After a strand test with bleach and 40 minutes she brought other stylist to give advice. One of them was particularly rude and told me I was «dishonest» on the phone and that, it would be impossible to bring me to a natural shade. Basically telling me that all they can do is a brown color after bleaching it all. I was shocked but since it already started I let the stylist bleach my hair (it took 2 hours and it was an extremely slow process). After half bleaching my hair to about 6 different shades of white and blue she told me that I had to come another day. I paid $ 200 for bleach and a incredibly uneven and crazy hair color.
No, I won’t come back here.

Great salon and staff. Sarah is amazing, she did a balayage for me and I couldn’t be happier. I get complimented on my hair all the time. Emily never disappoints for waxing either. Definitely highly recommended, they will take great care of you.

I had my first haircut here yesterday, with Irma Escobar. I have long curly hair and have had many awful haircuts in my life so I am always nervous when trying a new salon. Irma knows curly hair! She listened to what I wanted, asked good questions, and offered feedback and we came to a solid understanding before the wash. She then started with dry hair to give herself a guideline for once my hair was wet. Once we were well underway, we made some conversation but her priority was focusing on her work — which I SO appreciate! She gave me a fantastic cut with great layers. When she asked if I wanted a blowout I hesitated — I don’t usually like my hair straight and neither does my husband. I agreed though because it was cold and I didn’t want to air dry. Irma did it beautifully — I loved it and so did my husband (the first time he has ever liked me with straight hair in ten years). I am definitely coming back to her.
As for the salon itself, I had never gone even though I love nearby, as I found the name a bit off putting. After reading the reviews, I gave it a chance and am glad I did. It’s a classy place with excellent customer service from the moment you enter until you walk out.

If you are looking for celebrity hair, and to walk out of a salon feeling fabulous, go to alana, she’s literally the best, and I mean best stylist around. Alana has been my stylist for the last few years, and i have never been happier with my cut and color, and to boot she’s extremely friendly and easy to talk to. You will not be disappointed!

I have been going to see Lorraine Quinn for facials over the past several years. Simply put she is the best. Lorraine takes the time to examine your skin and customizes the facial to fit your particular need. It’s not always the same either– depending on the condition of your skin, time of year, etc.
One area that she is particularly strong in is giving facial massage. I always go away feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and feeling great! I have gone to several
aestheticians and Lorraine is among the very best. I highly recommend her.

Really, truly great for haircuts, and totally worth the $ 45 (though prices will increase based on the stylist’s level). I got lots of compliments and plan on returning for French bayalage highlights. You feel like a princess getting a hand massage and being served tea/​coffee while your hair is being did. The atmosphere is friendly and everyone who works here seems to have high fashion, stand-​out hair styles.

I just had a marvelous mini facial by a wonderful esthetician Lorraine Q. If that was a mini facial, I can’t wait to try a full facial! Lorraine rid me of my milia, massaged my hands and feet, and expertly applied different creams and salves to my face. I came out of the experience glowing… inwardly and outwardly. If you want a thorough, masterly, delightful facial — mini or full — ask for Lorraine Q!

I couldn’t agree more with all the positive feedback about Lorianne. She is very good at what she does. She takes the time to listen to what you want. I have been coming to Lorianne for a few years now. I am very picky when it comes to my eyebrows. I will not let anyone but Lorianne touch them. If she goes on vacation, my eyebrows do too, even if they start looking like caterpillars on my face :). I honestly should give the other services she offers a try soon.

Had my first haircut done yesterday, great attention to details. I would say maybe too much, need to know when to stop. Overall I was satisfied.

I am one of those rare females who dreads getting her hair cut. I have had a few too may bad experiences at the salon, so will sometimes go a year or more between visits. I called this salon this morning, and they were able to fit me in early this afternoon with Erica. For $ 55 I got a wash, cut and blow dry. Erica was very professional and gave me one of my favorite hair cuts ever. I have never had success with layers for my thick straight blonde hair, but it came out great! I will be using her services in the spring for highlights prior to my wedding. Highly recommended!

I loved everything about this place. When I went in to learn more about the available services and pricing, the girls at reception were very open and honest and helped me pick out my Facial and Eyebrow wax. I also got a deal because I was placed with a new lady, Emily. She was wonderful. The Facial was much more than a facial: I got a facial, a hand massage, a foot massage, and a scalp massage. It was unbelievable and I did not want to leave. I will definitely be back to pamper myself with her amazing hands again.

Welcome Emily to Lord’s and Lady’s! I went for my first waxing today with Emily and she was so Friendly, Thorough and Professional. I will definitely request Emily again she is a great addition to the LL Team.

Wonderful salon have been going there for several years. All the stylists, assistants and receptionists are so kind and professional. Very welcoming atmosphere and always supporting the community!

Love this salon! I have been going here since I was a kid. Winnie does such a nice job with my color. She makes it look so natural. I always feel and look great when I leave. Chadia takes great care of me and gives the best shampoos and hand massages. They are all so nice and the Manager is so attentive.

Jackie P is a great hair stylist. She is competent and takes the time to listen to my wishes. Her attention to detail is to be commended. She is a wonderful asset to Lords and Ladies. The management should feel great pride that she represents the Lords and Ladies name. I have the feeling when she is working on my hair I am the only person that matters. I certainly hope that she is rewarded when she spends extraordinary amounts of time on a process for a client.

Lords & Ladies always provides great customer service. I have been a client for many years and had services with many stylists. Never disappointed from check in to check out always a positive experience!

I have been going to this salon off and on for over a year now. The first time I had gotten my hair done was a bad experience, due to a new stylist (who I had experienced at an old salon, so I knew he was awful once I saw him and was on high alert), but from then on things got better.
I started seeing Erin, who was very sweet. She listened to how I wanted to get my hair done and let me play with color. She did my hair about three or four times before things started going downhill. She claimed she loved how my hair came out, wanted pictures to show off, gave me her personal e-​mail to properly request appointments since the receptionists seemed to log them incorrectly… but after a while, every time I tried making an appointment it got more and more impossible. Every time I called I almost immediately got transferred to the general manager. Having worked in a call center, I began to think my account was flagged as being a problem case. Besides that first time (which I thought was solved/​behind me), everything was fine… or so I thought.
The last time I tried making an appointment with Erin in November, I got, «Oh, Erin is cutting down her hours. She won’t have availability until January.» I thought, weird, but she must be booked solid. Maybe she was moving or working somewhere else, etc. I had a hard time making an appointment with her back in July, so this wasn’t necessarily new. So I made an appointment with Jackie, another stylist who was apparently great with coloring. Told the manager I wanted an ombré.
When I get there, Jackie had no idea I wanted an ombré and immediately started panicking/​giving me grief about it. Apparently there’s a system, a two-​appointment process which involves a consultation, etc. She almost turned me away. At the end of the five hour appointment she even told me that she didn’t know if it was going to come out good at all and was relieved. That didn’t make me feel good, but all’s well that ends well.
However, during Jackie’s previous panicking, she brought me to the computer to try and see if Erin logged a hair color shade she used in the past that we were trying to remember/​pick out.
I wound up seeing something I shouldn’t have seen, which was: «DO NOT BOOK WITH ERIN UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE» in all caps at the top of my record.
I was immediately shocked, wondering if I had done something to offend her. I thought about our past experiences and nothing stood out. We always had pleasant, mindless chatter. Each time I went there I dropped about $ 320, so you’d think I was good business for her with all of the coloring I had done. I’d rather be told up front that «no, this hairstylist does not want to work with you anymore» than be dragged along and lied to. Somehow I had unwarranted drama at the hair stylist? For that much money? No freaking way.
That immediately set a sour tone to my appointment. I tried to explain to Jackie that I wasn’t high maintenance and that something must have been misunderstood based on that message, that I had no idea where that hostility came from. I didn’t want her to get the wrong impression that I would cause her trouble. I’m usually a «grin and bear it» kind of person, but when it comes to my hair I can’t just ignore the problem, which is what happened the first time. I’m not sure what happened.
Nothing against Jackie, because she did do a wonderful job. Even Erin did a wonderful job in the past. But to be treated like that, as a full grown adult in a professional setting? To feel so awkward when you’re the one who is the paying customer? You must be kidding.
At the end of the appointment, Jackie said she would take me on as her client gladly «if I chose to come back.»
Yeah, I think the answer to that is clear.

Recently moved to the area and Lords and Lady’s was recommended. It’s a little more expensive than Dellaria’s where I used to go but worth every penny. The environment, reception, customer service, over all experience and of course hair cut were incredible. A chain with spa feel! So happy to have found it… And Niño my stylist!

Every member of my family has had a horrendous experience here.
My first was when I got my makeup done for junior prom and left looking like a greasy drag queen.
I’ve also had my hair cut there, WITHOUT a blow-​dry, and been charged the same price as a cut and dry… $ 60 to leave looking like a wet dog.
Also, the people at reception are very snobby and rude.
I despise this place and recommend going to Dellaria’s instead.

Went for my first time last week and will be back! I got my eyebrows waxed and really like how they came out.
The lady (I forget her name) was thoroughly knowledgeable. I was nervous that she would over do it and it would take forever for any mistakes to grow back in, but she was very conservative about how much hair she pulled out and didn’t over shape them at all. She just cleaned them up and they look so natural.
