I went into this place on a mission just for a cupcake. Its a nice place and the person working was very helpful even though I only got a cupcake and a drink. I got the Banana Nutella cupcake. The frosting looked very apealing and was oooohhh so yummy. It was very light and creamy and not too much Nutella. The cake was moist and light, but could have just a touch more banana flavor. All and all it was a very tasty cupcake. I would love to try another flavor and even try a Cuban sandwich when in the area again.

5 Stars for both the cupcakes and the Cuban sandwich! When I heard that Delish makes an authentic Cuban sandwich, I convinced my husband to give it a try. It had been so long since I had a good Cuban sandwich and my husband never had had one. Delish is a small shop with limited counter seating along a wall. When we got there around 4:30 p.m. on a Tuesday, we were the only customers. A friendly woman behind the counter took our order. Also, in the store was one of the owners. The place is owned by a couple, Christine I.(Moszcienski) Pena and her husband, Jesus. Jesus was in the store. He told us that he was Cuban and that he made an authentic sandwich. We had a nice chat. I told him that I was half Puerto Rican and was pleased to hear that he used pan de agua for the sandwiches. For those unfamiliar to pan de agua, it is very similar to French bread. I told him that when my family lived in Puerto Rico, there was a bakery nearby that made it fresh once a day. People would line up to buy it. Jesus told us that every time he visits Puerto Rico, he just has to buy fresh pan de agua. This was one superb Cuban sandwich! It had all the proper ingredients— roasted pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles and the option of adding mustard. We added mustard to our sandwiches. It was put together in proper proportion between 2 slices of pan de agua, then pressed until the bread had some crisp and the cheese was melted. It was hard to keep from inhaling it! While I was eating, Jesus asked me «Is that real pan de agua or what?» Oh yes! It was the real thing! My husband told me how much he liked his sandwich. The only complaint he had — and it was minor — was that the pork was a bit dried out. Still, it was a juicy sandwich. We each chose a cupcake for dessert. I chose a vanilla/vanilla one. It consists of «classic vanilla cake topped with a white chocolate vanilla bean butter cream frosting». My husband chose an orange dreamsicle one. That one consists of «classic vanilla cake topped with a white chocolate orange dreamsicle butter cream frosting». We were both wowed by the cupcakes! The cake part was light yet moist with great flavor. The frosting on the vanilla/vanilla one wasn’t overly sweet and I could taste the white chocolate and vanilla bean. The flavorings were done in such a way that one didn’t overpower the other but complimented each other beautifully. My husband just raved about the orange dreamsicle. The orange flavoring was in perfect balance with light, creamy frosting. We liked these cupcakes so much that 2 days later, we went back to buy some so that our daughter and son-in-law could try them. At that time, I tried the orange dreamsicle for myself and was oohing and aahing over every bite. My husband tried a key lime cupcake. This cupcake consisted of «french vanilla cake with a hint of lime rhine topped with a refresing key lime butter cream frosting». He liked it but said that the orange dreamsicle was his favorite as he said it seemed to have better flavoring. Our daughter had a cookies and cream cupcake which consisted of «chocolate cake topped with a white chocolate cookies and cream butter cream frosting». She just loved it — especially the fact that the cake was light in texture and the frosting wasn’t too sweet. Our son-in-law tried one that had a vanilla cake and peanut butter frosting which he really liked. All the cupcake flavors are baked and created by Christine. Each day, she offers up a dozen different flavors out of a long list of cupcakes. Not only did we have a great sandwich and superb cupcakes but it was a cheap meal. Two sandwiches, two sodas and two cupcakes cost $ 19.08. You can be sure that the next time we’re in town, we are having at least one meal here!

I heard from a friend that this place has vegan cupcakes. I never would have guessed this, even though I was asking all the cupcake bakers I encountered for such things, having a major jones for Vegan Treats in Bethlehem. They had two kinds when I visited: chocolate peanut butter and an oreo cookie, both great. I will be back. Maybe they will offer vegan Cuban food eventually. It can be done: I have a Latino vegan bookbook with vegan Cubano sandwiches and much more. Welcome to West Reading, Delish! I guess this is their second location.
