My wife and I live just a few blocks away from the Irish Pub and finally decided to go there for date night one evening instead of riding to Opelika like normal. I thought the place was perfect right from the start. Cold beer and tv everywhere live music on weekends and really tasty steaks. I had nachos for my appetizers and everything was great. My wife had Shepard pie which she loved. In the slowly decaying area that is Valley, Lanett, West Point, this task of rebuilding and bringing life and business back is critical and the pub is a very important part of that. It’s a one of a kind place in our little part of the world.

I was tagging along with my husband on business. Our hotel at the Hampton Inn was in the middle of no where. We didn’t have mane options so I went on Unilocal. We love Irish Pubs. Even though the last review recently wasn’t great the others were. This was such a great find it was late afternoon but the bartender was very engaging and we feel in love with the atmosphere. I should know by now always check out Unilocal, read ALL the reviews, don’t get discouraged by one bad one & many great ones, & trust the locals reviews!

Stopped in here for lunch during road trip. For our party of 10, it took more than 2 hours and food was average. Our server was very nice

A welcome addition to the revitalization of the small town of West Point. The staff is consistently friendly and the food is delish. The establishment could use the addition of another big screen TV behind the bar. A smoking ban upstairs would also be a welcome addition. Overall though, I’m a fan!

Good food, great variety of menu items, decent prices, –1 star for somewhat slow service during lunch when it wasn’t busy.

In the sprawling metropolis that is West Point, GA, it’s hard to find good places to eat. Irish Bred Pub is a cool hole-in-the-wall with pub fare that is both very decent and reasonable. There are TV’s everywhere; have a beer and watch The Game(as long as it isn’t on Sundays, apparently). Their service is always good; I enjoy it whenever I eat here. As for the menu, their sandwiches and fried stuff are always very tasty.
