We have been very dissatisfied with a Serta luxury pillow top mattress we bought from City
Furniture. We had several guests sleep on this mattress which is a Queen size and they
All complained that it was sinking in the middle. We called Serta. They had someone come out to inspect it and measure it. They found nothing wrong. We still had complaints. We are getting a run around with their customer service. We want to get rid of this horrible mattress
ASAP. We cannot wait any longer. I would not recommend buying any Serta mattresses. It is the worst.

Tho I have only to deal with this company thru a warrantee, I must say that the Iseries honoree sold to me by City furniture was not a new one… and they insist that new mattresses are allowed to have a ⁷⁄₈ inch sag right where a person would sleep in a king size bed. I called City furniture weeks after delivery, they refused to do anything about it as they said it was a warrantee issue, but thats another review. This mattress offers little support, and sags, horribly uncomfortable.
When accepting delivery from a store, be sure to look across the mattress while on your knee. you must get your eye level down to the surface of the mattress; taught to me by the inspector from serta, who agreed that I did not have a new mattress. The inspector also place a string with two weights on both ends across the mattress which showed the visible 7/8“sag. The sag needed to be 1 ½ inches for replacement. The inspector also found a sag in the box spring of 1/​8″, pretty incredible for a new mattress.

I’m am quite disappointed in the honesty of the Serta «guarantee».
After finally jumping through hoops to book an expert to review the damaged mattress, the expert agreed that the mattress is faulty due to bad sagging, I get (what looks like) a standard letter in the mail to let me know they found a reason not to honor their guarantee.
They found sweat marks on the mattress caused by my son when he had a fever.
This is Florida, and people do wake up a little sweaty every now and again, so anyone in Florida doesn’t stand a chance of getting the Serta replacement guarantee. The mattress has a «10 Year Guarantee», and it only lasted 4&½. Serta Mattress company should do the right thing… Sell the mattress and let people know ahead of time that it comes with the standard letter of denial.
I am so disappointed.
