This location is great, I have shop at several Sephora including out of the state and I have to say that the staff at this location is very knowledgeable about their products.

Since I live in an area where there not any Sephora’s close by, I try to visit one when I am in a town where this is one. So I was excited to visit the Sephora in Cityplace. I had neither a horrible nor a great experience. Here are what I experienced: Pro’s: — Big space: while not a huge store, there is plenty of room to walk around and look at all the products — Samples: there was a facial cleanser I wanted to try and when I asked if they had samples, the lady she could make me one and put some of the product in a container for me to try. Con’s: Customer service: When I went in, there was hardly any customers in the store, 5 people tops. There were at least 8 employees. Out of these 8 employees, only 2 were doing something productive. There was a clump of 4 or so employees complaining and ignoring customers. I made eye contact with one of them when thinking about going up and asking a question. After I turned back, I vaguely heard someone say, «let me know if you need anything» but I have no idea if that was directed at me or not. When I did go up to one of them to ask for a sample, the lady was nice, which I definitely appreciated. I just wish the friendliness started before I had to physically come up to them because it felt like I was bothering them. Cleanliness: like most makeup stores, some of the displays were messed up and need attending to. Overall, it’s a nice enough store that just has some improvements to make. I recommend this store if you are in the area.

I have been to other Sephoras all over the country, but this one was the best because of a talented make-up artist named Gigi. When I walked in, simply to buy an Estee Lauder lipstick they ran out of at Macy’s, she instantly came up to me to find something much better. Then she offered to give me a real makeover, helping me find the most flattering foundation, blush and eyeshadow. She spent an hour trying different products on me, allowing me to select the option that worked best, and I walked out looking like Sophia Vergara, or at least as much like Sophia Vergara as I am capable of. Most of all, she was caring, kind and genuinely trying to bring out the best of my features. I cannot recommend Gigi highly enough. She didn’t push any products on me, but I bought what I really liked, and I am very happy with the results.

The staff was very rude and unhelpful. This was my first trip to the Cityplace Sephora and it will be my last. I will go back to the one in the PGA mall where the staff is incredible or go to Ulta from now on.

This Sephora is OK. They actually pay attention to you and help you figure out what is best. That is what I like about this location. The only problem with this place is that it doesn’t seem that the employees are make up artist or have extensive knowledge of make up application or products. They are more like salesgirls, and that is okay sometimes. They can tell you exactly what it does, but I can read that on the label. One thing I wish is that the workers at least dressed themselves up and did their make up to appear as people that cared about beauty, skin, and make up like MAC does. The couple of times I visited Sephora and asked the salesgirls about the best product they ALWAYS sent me to the most expensive product. The most expensive product doesn’t always mean BEST product. I don’t know if they get commission or have quotas. Their recommendations have always been a FAIL. What I do now is research the reviews online then see what they have to say before making a purchase. On my last visit I was actually making a return. FYI, SEPHORAHASTHEBESTRETURNPOLICYEVER! If it doesn’t say what it should do and you just aren’t satisfied you can return it. For that, I will be a customer for life! You cannot lose. The only person that I have encountered that has genuine knowledge of make up is their manager. I cannot remember her name, but you cannot miss her. She is a pretty African American girl with make up that is ONPOINT! She knows her stuff! And she won’t try to make you buy the most expensive products. She will show you to the best products. She will also show you how to put it on and recommend products that will help and not try to up-sell you. One thing I was sad to see about this store is that they don’t carry Deva Curl products. I guess it is a small store, therefore, they can’t carry every brand. But they do have Bumble Bee and about 4 others. **If you want to get a full face make up done you have to spend $ 50** could be worth it if you are in need or restocking some of your make up or starting new. If you want the full Sephora experience you should visit the Palm Beach Gardens location.

Seriously another one star — ugh, I hate writing these, so I shall not go into too much detail: Staff are appallingly rude, unhelpful and totally ignorant. Makeup is smeared all over, clean up stations are not stocked, guy at fragrance counter loathed being asked for a sample because he might actually have to do some work — just a terrible experience. Also waited at the counter for 20 minutes and was told 3 times«I’ll be right with you», only to have an employee check out someone else right in front of me. I understand you sealed the deal, but I has embarrasingly been stood there for 15 minutes already. I’ll never use this location again. Their online service is a million times better anyway.

This branch of Sephora is fabulous and even has free WiFi. The reps are friendly and most of their items seem well-stocked. Also, it’s in a great location, next to Macy’s.

In the middle of Sephora, this location allows you to browse around and try on as many samples as you would like. I had a couple questions about specific products, and the staff knew about them all. The only blackhead strips they had were the $ 15 ones though.

Not the best, not the worst. Lea is such a sweetheart. So informative about the products. I prefer this Sephora to the one in The Gardens Mall. Frustrating to know that some Sephora’s carry certain products that others don’t. Safe location. Small yet tidy layout.

Let me start by saying this, I’ve been to a lot of Sephoras and I am sad to report that this one is my least favorite. The downside is that the space isn’t to big so the options are very limited, the upside is that it is located in a nice outdoor mall, so there are lots of other shops to see, and places to eat and even a theater right across from it. Service was pretty scarce too. But oh well, it beats having asking if they can help you every time you touch ANYTHING!
