I was excited to go this restaurant because it was a steakhouse and I heard good things about it from others. I attended an appreciation dinner with co-workers the other night and I was fairly disappointed with the service and the food. Let’s begin with the food; we were given a choice of steak, chicken and fish. I had the steak which I ordered well done but mine came medium well which didn’t bother me too much because it was edible. Our side dishes were mashed potatoes and creamed spinach; the potatoes were delicious unlike the spinach which was horrible. Prior to receiving our entrees, it took quite a while to be served by our rude waitress Paula who made it seem like it was a chore to serve us and not her job. She had an attitude the entire night and questioned everything when we would ask her for certain things. A co-worker’s steak was cooked improperly and she had the audacity to ask her if she was sure and tell her to cut her steak to confirm. When our table would ask her for more side dishes, she would glance at the table and ensure there wouldn’t be any left prior to giving a vague«Sure, I’ll get you more!» She did not make the experience enjoyable at all due to her rudeness and poor communication skills. However, there was one individual who really made an impact on our night. His name is Frantz! He had such a great personality and humor! He put everything he had into his work and you could tell he enjoyed serving us. He was attentive and provided excellent service! I wish he was our waiter the entire night rather than just serving us the bread and water. It would have been more memorable with him. Overall, I wouldn’t mind going back but I would make sure I have a different waitress and not have the creamed spinach, lol. Ohhh the bread is to die for! :) PS. The valet is $ 8 and they do not validate. :(

Upon arrival the Hostess that greeted us made sure that we were quickly seated and at a table that matched our reservation request. Unfortunately it was sadly all downhill from there from service, to the food to the fact that when we tried to offer friendly and constructive feedback to the manager on duty before leaving and blew us off. That same evening I left a message for the GM Adam Kaytes and again the next day, as well as, speak with his assistant. He did not even care enough to call back. The Lobster Bisque was served barely warm and when sent back came back after being microwaved(same plate with dried bisque on the rim), Our steaks were sinewy, extremely tough and we actually left much of each entrée on the plates. The sides were uninteresting and small and almost worst of all the waiter was completely absent other than saying the food is coming out and some one will bring it to you. So, we had no one to speak with during the meal even though we asked and actually ended up leaving before all of our meal was brought to the table. By the way we made of point of telling our server that we had theatre tickets needed to be done by 7:40. We paid the check and reluctantly tipped the wait staff.

Went here on Saturday night prior to a show at the Kravis Center. Chose the restaurant because it is right across the street — and we were looking forward to a nice date night. They have a special menu if you are going to the Kravis, however our waiter did not provide one — I noticed it on the table of the people sitting on the next level below us. When I asked about it, he begrudgingly brought one, and held it in his hand reading us the information — making it clear he didn’t want us to order off this menu. Some points where I felt the restaurant could improve: — Brought the wine, and left empty wine glasses on a table for two — we ended up moving them to the side so someone would take them away. — Caesar Salad was bland — Waited a long time to get a second glass of wine — Food is served so hot that you have to wait at least 15 minutes to eat your entrée. I like my food hot, but this actually burns your mouth. — Conversely, the sides were almost cold — the mashed potatoes looked like something out of a box — paid a $ 2 upcharge for Brussel Sprouts that were also cold. — Dinner plates are virtually the size of an appetizer plate making it impossible to cut your meat and have a side on the same plate. I had to cut my chicken in half, putting half on my bread plate just to make room. — The best service was the bus boy who cleared away the dishes. He was personable and really did a nice job. — Dessert brought way after we had finished our expresso To summarize, food is mediocre for the price — and the service is mediocre as well. Certainly not worth the $ 175 we paid for it. Won’t be going back. That said, the place was packed, so they probably won’t miss us.

The food here was amazing. But the service was horrible. They took us 45min late for a 7:45 reservation. There was a strange intensely fragrant candle right when you walked into the dinning room. It took 15min for them to take our drink order. The dining room was freezing. It took them 20min to clear our dirty dishes. We were celebrating two birthdays and we let them know ahead of time and they didn’t bring anything at the end of dinner. All they gave us at the end of dinner for our 45min wait was one free coffee. Overall I would never ever come here again. This is the first Unilocal review I’ve ever done but I felt very strongly about the bad service at this restaurant so I felt like I had to warn others.

The happy hour specials are amazing! I love the seared tuna and the steak sandwich. Must try the calamari off their regular menu.

Upon my recommendation I took my wife and daughter to West Palm Beach R.K. and ordered the Tenderloin salad. All 3 orders, the beef was uneatable tough. Waiter coped out and said it was the end of the tenderloin. Baloney! I’ve had that salad in CA, Chicago, Detroit and Bonita Springs always was outstanding. The waiter offered no replacement, no comp, no apology, nor take it off the bill. I couldn’t believe this was Ruths Chris. With the caliber of that steakhouse, someone needs to be fired

Tonight we spent over $ 300 for a group of five. The service was very slow on refills for water. We sent the stuffed mushrooms with crab back. They did replace it with the crab cake appetizer but did not take them stuffed mushrooms of the bill. Two of our steaks had to be sent back and the shrimp dish was not hot. This restaurant was real disappointment. We would not go back.

First time visiting this restaurant yesterday and it could have not been a better experience! I was there during happy hour and the staff was awesome. I ordered a drink of my choice and my waitress Christi was overly willing to change or modify what I had to what I needed. She offered severe times to remake the drink altogether to make it more sweeter! The prime burger was excellent! I am planning to go back very soon!

Hosted a corporate holiday party at this WPB location and absolutely loved it. Barbra was great with communication and the manager Adam, and server Mike were excellent. The food was great and all of my guests had a fabulous experience. Highly recommend the lobster mac and cheese.

Consistently a great place. I can’t believe it’s a chain, but they are always on top of their game. I love the décor, the service, and the food is outstanding. I love the location, and always go there before a show at the Kravitz Center. Good food before a good show. If I’m by myself, I just eat at the bar. I haven’t been disappointed ever, and it’s a top choice in the area for steak.

First visit to this location and without a reservation on a busy night, General Manager Adam Kaytes helped get us a table promptly. He checked up on us and other diners regularly. Excellent to have such a hands on manager. Thanks Adam.

One of the worst dining experiences ever. We couldn’t understand why at 8:00 on a Friday night, there were 21 customers in the restaurant. Now we know. Word must have traveled that the service and level of food quality have deteriorated. The server greeted us, shirt untucked, hair looking like he just woke up, trying to be gracious, but appearing completely flustered and nervous.(He had one other table in his station). He gushed about all the dishes we were contemplating, and offered to give us two more minutes to decide. He returned 17 minutes later. We shared a Harvester salad, split in two. Unfortunately, there were only about 14 leafy greens, doused in vinaigrette, and my husband was the lucky one who got the two lone pecans. My husband ordered the(salty) Prime NY Strip, kind of grisly, which arrived on a plate exactly the same size as the meat! Unable to cut the steak without it spilling over and falling onto the table, he asked for a larger plate, to which the food runner replied, «You can’t get a larger plate; that’s how Ruth’s Chris serves its steaks.» Really? I ordered the(salty) scallops, served on something green and a salty bed of corn. Corn? We shared the lobster mac and cheese, which was not«creamy» as promised, but dry, and luke warm, with tiny bits of lobster claw. Hard to mess up mac and cheese, but apparently the chef did just that. Our«1-pound, loaded» baked potato was the size of a large clementine, weighing no more than 8 – 10 ounces, and rock hard. We requested a more«well-done»(more cooked) potato, and got the same potato — with the skin charred! We couldn’t wait to get out of there. Oh, and never saw the server again; he sent someone else over to check on us. We got the bill, paid, and left — NEVER to return again. Two stars only because the steak had some taste, and the bread was hot.

Went with friends from out of town. Ordered a 12 oz. ribeye steak medium rare, which was only slightly marbalized causing lack of full flavor. Service was horrible. Delivered entress while salad plates were still on the table. During the meal the waiter did not come to the table at all to see if all was up to our liking. Had to wave to busboy to refill water goblets. When we finished our meal, the dirty dishes sat on the table for at least 15 minutes before it was finally cleared. Service certainly not up to a fine steak house standard that charges top dollar for so so steaks. Will take my business to Capital Grill

Went to Ruth’s last night to celebrate my sons swearing in as a member of the Florida Bar. As usual we expected to have a great steak dinner at Ruth’s Chris. Unfortunately, that’s not what we got. To start we had two salads and made a point of asking for extra dressing on each. They came with such a small amount of salad dressing we had to ask for additional and wait. While waiting for extra dressing, we discussed the fact that we had ordered the salads with extra dressing. Didn’t anyone pay attention? When our extra dressing came, it was so tiny an amount we couldn’t believe it, so once again we asked for a larger amount of dressing. We waited for the second time about 2 – 3 minutes. It was as if the server had to go through a chain of command to bring out more dressing? Not a great start. Service was generally good as was the actual steak, however we were served what seemed like a day old baked potato and when we asked for a fresh one, we waited for 6 – 7 minutes eating steak with no side? When the manager came out with the server to tell us it would be another few minutes we let him know that we would be done eating just steak in a few minutes, so he went inside and brought us another day old baked potato? As I looked at the second potato, it was obvious he could make no excuse for the second«OLD» potato explaining that the new potato’s just weren’t done yet. Not exactly the experience you expect from a great steakhouse? We were offered dessert(doesn’t solve the steak dinner experience going bad but a proper attempt to make things better, although one of us had dessert coming with the package dinner ordered) and when we ordered two bread puddings and asked for some vanilla ice cream with it we got a tiny little ramekin(like for melted butter you would dip lobster in) with a few teaspoons of vanilla ice cream. This was a disgrace to hospitality to even bring out that tiny little two bite serving of ice cream. I must admit that we usually go to Ruth’s in Ft. Lauderdale where the hospitality is FAR better and when they have a problem they don’t insult you with their idea of a good resolve(a tiny baby size ice cream). As for the bread pudding, it tasted a day or so old as well and as a foodie, this is not what you expect from this establishment. Someone needs to bring these folks into the real world of hospitality. If your going to try to make up for a flaw in service like bad, day old baked potato’s that are all yellow and cracking on the inside with a gluey consistency, you don’t do it by making another mistake and being a cheapskate and serving a less than kiddie size portion of ice cream and the old bread pudding. We ate the ice cream with one taste for each of us, and left the old tasting bread pudding after an unfortunate taste.(We have had great fresh bread pudding many times before at various Ruth’s, with large scoops of vanilla ice cream). I will say again that this Ruth’s is different than others we dine at frequently, however if we go to any Ruth’s again and have this type of problem, we will stick to Morton’s, or Abe and Louie’s in Boca. There are just too many options today. As a personal note to the owner or GM of the City Place Ruth’s. When things go wrong, don’t make things worse by being cheap in the way management attempts to resolve the problem. People paying this type of money for a great steak experience, are not impressed with day old cooked products and tiny little portions of anything. It’s far more costly to Ruth’s if you lose us as customers in the future!

Forgettable disappointing meal(but it was on my company’s dime so it’s all good). Steak was small/paper thin and was overcooked. They need to account for the fact that the steak will continue to cook on the sizzling hot plate.

Never disappoints!!! I absolutely love Ruth’s Chris wherever I go! Food is always superb! Steak is AAA! Made friends with one of the girls there and we were there for a long time talking about the culture we both share! Always feel like home when I’m at Ruth’s Chris! They always ensure their customers are satisfied. Our waiter was great, took great care of us. The managed even stopped by to make sure everything was good! Love love love Ruth’s Chris whether it’s Hawaii, Miami, Palm Beach, NJ etc

Hands down the best dining experience I’ve ever had. Their cuts are top notch & prepared perfectly. Even the sides were expertly crafted. The last bite is as enjoyable as the first. Service is exceptional. The location, décor & ambiance all add to the memorable experience. Is it expensive? Yes, but sometimes you have to ‘treat yoself’. If you had the money to go here frequently, then I’m sure your private chef could create something as good w/o having to leave the compound. If you’re in the City Place area, this is where you go for dinner to make it the perfect night out.

Not one of my favorite steakhouse, but attended a business dinner there last night. Valet parking is pricey at $ 8 with no option for validation. Overall experience was good. Ambience: quite a big place wit a good size bar area. Great for any type of get together. Didnt see a lot of kids though. Quite happening around the the 6−7pm. May be due to the happy hour specials. Service: overall was decent. There was one front receptionist that didnt know our group existed and almost turned away our guest. Was told she was«new». I got there almost 45min early and was graciously shown to our area and service began. No one helped me with the AV in the room but i figured it out. Food service was decent overall. There was a long lag between salad and main entrée. Not sure if it was intentional, but just didnt flow too well. Otherwise, overall, decent service for our party of 14. Food: there were stuff mushrooms and sear tuna for appetizers. Mushrooms were ok, but the tuna was pretty darn good. A little spicy flavor and cooked perfectly. Only choices for our group dinner was filet, stuffed chicken, and salmon. I opted for the filet(med rare plus) and it was cooked decently. Would have much rather preferred rib eye though… flavors were ok. People asked for steak sauce, if that says anything… the sides were pretty plain with mushrooms, cream spinach, and mas potatoes. The cream of spinach was not the best and on the bland side. Potatoes were basic. Dessert was a small cheesecake that i passed on. Overall a decent experience. I can blame Ruth’s for not offering a rib eye… i still prefer Fleming’s over Ruth’s.

Good service and french onion soup but so overpriced. I know people love this steakhouse but I’ve had better at local mom and pop places and places like Texas Roadhouse and even Outback. Yes, yes, I have. Just thought the chef used way too much butter on everything, like he was overcompensating for serving not very good, overpriced food. The group I was with liked it so that is all that mattered since it was a bachelorette party. I am glad everyone had fun. I could barely eat my petite filet since it was cooked wrong and I had to send it back and it came out still wrong. Medium Well is a slight pink center, not red, and the steak I got was still mooing. I had to throw it away which is horrifying to me and a sin but we were going out after and I had no place to stow it… so it ended up going in the trash. I still feel bad about that but I feel worse about the prices and quality here. Sorry, I wanted to LOVE this place.

Exzellente Steaks, bei 1800 Fahrenheit angebraten und auf 500 Fahrenheit heißen Tellern serviert. Besser kann man Steaks nicht servieren. Service was outstanding. Unfortunately high prices, easy to spend 45 to 50 bucks just for the meat with no sides. Der Laden ist sein Geld allerdings wert! Kleiderordnung leger, aber eher schick: keine Shorts & Turnschuhe.
