AVOID AVOID, AVOID they never showed up for a scheduled appointment, put the wrong door on when they finally showed up a day later, 3 days later I call for a follow up and I get called names by the owner.

I scheduled an appoint for 9:30 to 11:30 this morning. No one showed or called. I called and could tell I was talking to a call center. After 5 minutes on hold I was told that the appointment had been rescheduled. Without telling me. The time it was rescheduled for did not work for me. I asked for a manager to call me. Several hours later a tech called to say he was on the way. Again I asked for a manager to call me and that was 3 hours ago.
If you read the other reviews even a good review said they were late and didn’t call.
I had heard good things so would have been willing to give them a chance, but I guess they didn’t want my business.

Called and got a next day appointment. The technician Andrew was a a couple hours out of the appointment window, but I called he apologized for running late and said he was on his way. He was very professional and had great advice on how to prevent further problems with the garage door. I would definitely use them again.

As previously reported by another reviewer — AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! I have been waiting 7 hours for them and still nothing. Finally called them and they apologized. I am not interested in having to wait that long for a service. If that does not bother you then by all means go ahead and call them.

I have never ever written a review for any business or service. But this company’s work is bad. They don’t arrive on time. The quality of work is subpar to say the least. If Unilocal had negative ratings that is what I would give this company. Please avoid.

Excellent service and my new go to company for garage door service! You can see my review from yesterday of the company that I used to use. Sorry if it duplicates what I wrote yesterday, but wanted to tell the whole story in this review.
When my garage door wouldn’t open, I began by calling Broten who had installed a brand new garage door opener for me back in February of 2014 and who had been fixing my garage door since 2003. Despite the fact that it was only a year and a half old, there was no warranty and I was told that the service would be performed as if I was any other customer. The service man from the old company came out quickly and correctly diagnosed that it was a broken spring. But he had decided immediately that he was not going to fix it today and was willing to say whatever it took for me to give him permission to leave. He started by telling me that I needed to sign a waiver that would protect them from liability if they damaged my car. When I reluctantly agreed to sign it, he then said that he could not fix it until Monday as he needed another person to help him. I told him that was fine and even though I would not be able to access my car or bicycle for the rest of the weekend, to go ahead and order them to come back out. After telling him this, he then said that if I asked him to place the order that he would have to charge me $ 105 now for the service visit, but if I called a different company to come fix it that they would not charge me.
So that is exactly what I did, I called Precision. There was only 1 review on Unilocal but they had more than 90 reviews that showed on Google and they were 5 star across the board. My repair man Bobby was extremely professional, courteous and punctual. He saw the broken spring and he did not even discuss a waiver but instead quoted me the price and got to work. He replaced the spring and had it done in less than an hour and stayed with me to make sure that the door was working properly. I am sure that he had better things to do on the weekend too, but instead of telling me to call a different company, he went to work and got the job done. From here on out, my only call will be to Precision and I would recommend to everyone to call Precision first if you want your problem fixed right!
