Went here to see Yanni with a friend. It is a good venue for a concert. Not much else to say. Staff were helpful and friendly. Drinks and snacks a little pricey but for a concert venue, not too bad. Though 4.75 for a bottle of water was a bit much.

Love this Place! We are big time fans of Dave Matthews Band and come here every year to see them and have great times rain or shine! Last year rain… rain…mud…and rain! They have tons of parking and we take advantage of that cause we are some of the crazy peope you see out there with beer, grills, food, and kiddy pools(yes I said kiddy pool go big or go home!) camping out like it’s Super Bowl. So it;s great to be able to park and setup as early as 11 am and the staff and police are always sweet and funny! The stadium itself is nice and they do have the lawn in the back. I don’t do the lawn just cause i want to be as close as possible and when it rains it does get quite muddy! Lots of food trucks and bars also. My only issue is with the bathrooms… it’s always a cluster in the ladies room so expanding would be great! See you again this July WPB… until then!

Great venue and great sound for concerts. We actually attended for oddball comedy fest and there were so many vendors and different varieties of food set up. I would not recommend this venue during the heat of summer and probably not even the fall because it’s still quite warm here in Florida during that time. However that being said, I can’t think of a better venue for perfect winter and cool spring weather… this place would be perfect for a concert. There are various seating options from a little pricier which allows you to sit under an overhang roof to out in the yard for cheaper tickets where you can spread out of blanket.

It reminds me of Meriweather Post Pavilion in Maryland a lot. Larger though. I only sit under cover and the seating is good I guess. Always tough to get seats up front for some reason, but one thing I do like if you have a group of four to six is VIP seating which is about midway back from the stage and you have wait staff for drinks. Go early because traffic builds up. Good parking.

I have been coming here for years. It has gone by several names over the years such as Cruzan Amphitheater, Coral Sky Amphitheater, and now Perfect Vodka Amphitheater. Over the years I have seen lots shows here from DMB to Zac Brown Band. It’s a good venue and I have seen shows on both the lawn and seats. I suggest seats, probably because inam getting older, don’t my ass to be wet, and sometimes the people on the lawn tend to piss me off. The layout is basically the same as most of the amphitheaters that you will or have been to. Nice place as far as the big venues go, but I prefer club gigs and small rooms.

Freaking awesome time. everyone is courteous and really made our experience great! Better then ever before. I know they have changed names a ton of times but I had a great time here with the new name. we recommend concerts here…

I am a big fan of the amphitheater. I brag about it to all that its one of the best venues in town, if not the best. I have been here for many different concerts, festivals and now a comedy festival and it’s been great every-time. One of the first times was years ago for a Mark Anthony concert. It was far cheaper to see him at the amphitheater than at the airlines arena in Miami. And it paid off, so to speak. Everyone was able to stand the whole time and salsa pretty good there. As with the many follow up shows including a few Dave Mathews shows, the acoustics are really great. I have been to other great shows, but the recent one just the other day was for the Amy Schumer odd ball tour. It was a large group of comedians, and everyone had a blast. Parking, great. Sound, awesome. Concession lines, damn good. Save a few bucks, and come here for a show.

Was pleasantly surprised by this place. It’s one of those large, multistage venues where large concerts, festivals, etc. are hosted. Came here for a comedy fest in early October and wasn’t disappointed. As is typical for an event with thousands of people, you will see all types of people at such events. I came to see Amy Schumer and Aziz Ansari and arrived around 8 pm for the show. The doors for this particular event opened around 5 pm for the smaller stages/opening acts, but basically that’s so they can sell you more beer at $ 9 a pop. Not only was I not able to make it up from Lauderdale at that hour, I wasn’t interested in being there for that long, listening to local comics that probably suck, or spending $ 200 on drinks and then having to Über home because of subsequent intoxication. There were more people in Lawn seating then in the main area-honestly that’s the best way to go about a show like this. We bought our tickets late and they still weren’t as cheap as I had hoped. I can’t imagine what they were charging for the front seats for the people that were close enough to get on stage. All in all, you’ll pay more to not get smoked on(pot and otherwise) and not to get beer bottles thrown on you(this nearly caused a fistfight near us). But then again, such is the nature of excessive outdoor drinking. I love the festival-esque atmosphere here. It has a Margaritaville-like flair to it as well. There were a lot of surfboard type décor pieces around as well. Security wasn’t a massive pain in the ass either, which was nice, but then again we got in way late. Getting out of the parking lot(if you waited until the end of the show like we did) WAS a pain. The parking that was free at least. You can choose to pay $ 20 or $ 40 for priority parking which is closer to the venue which means less walking and less time waiting in line getting out. I wasn’t about to drop that to PARK but I was getting annoyed sitting still forever. I will totally come back here for subsequent events-it’s a hike for those of us in BroCo but a cool place to come see a concert or show.

Been to 2 events here. ** 9⁄6 — The Lady Antebellum concert, lawn seats.($ 20) **10/2 — The Oddball Comedy Tour, actual seats.($ 60 +) Both times, super hot & humid. The lawn seats were way better since you could move around, bring your own comfortable chairs and things. It rained but it is expected so we brought umbrellas and ponchos. No biggie. The actual seats inside are super small, hard and way too close together. The actual area stinks so bad, like a locker room. There is no ventilation at all. Now, I’m stuck with stinky, loud, rude people and can’t do anything about it. Another thing, the people are so ridiculously drunk at the venue, it is so annoying, it is worst than a club at 2am. I will never be back here.

For an amphitheater in South Florida it isn’t SO bad! Parking will cost $ 20 – 40 cash(if the event offers premium parking which is closer to the entrance, pre-purchase it, the event I attended had premium parking for $ 20 but I didn’t pre-purchase it & ended up paying $ 20 to park a little further) depending on the event(not paved, dirt road style. Make sure you don’t wash your car prior to parking) There is free parking on the Fair Grounds off the main road(Southern Blvd) but it’s a walks away. Upon walking in there are bars & food vendors readily available. Price of drinks varies from $ 4.75 for water or soda to $ 14 – 16 for single or double shot drinks without tip(limit 2 alcoholic drinks per person/drinks with several alcohols are not served such as the Long Island). They take credit cards & cash, so choosing your poison isn’t such a hard decisions. You can opt to pregame in the parking lot but no food/drinks/bags/cameras(depending on the event) can be brought inside the venue. Bathrooms are located at the entrance, in the VIP bars & on the opposite side of the amphitheater(unlike a previous review stating they only had porta-potties) They’re fairly clean with staff on hand to clean up if it gets too dirty & provide additional toilet paper if need be. The bathrooms are VERY hot & humid but again it’s an outdoor venue. Seating in the amphitheater is pretty decent, plastic chairs(some have cup holders) the closer you are to the stage the less breeze there is to keep you cool so bring a small fan if you like(I sat 2nd row to the Oddball Fest & was sweating like a prostitute in church) Lawn area is huge but seating is on a first come first serve basis, so show up early for a good spot. I had a great experience for the comedy show & in 2011 for Warped tour. Dressing up isn’t highly recommended specially high heels, this is a place you dress comfortable, drink, eat & have a good time.(If you’re a trouble maker, be careful. They won’t hesitate to escort you out of the event)

So I’ve been to this venue for many shows, starting with Britney Spears when I was 7 years old to today with my love of country music. There’s the good and the bad… The good: –Tailgating! Great place to do some tailgating, get your drinks on, and have a good time before the show. No one really bothers you either — Free? Parking: all the shows I’ve been to have had free regular parking on the fairgrounds(a little bit of a walk but really not bad at all), with the option of paying for«VIP» parking — Good seats all around: even if you get lawn tickets(my personal fave due to being able to dance around and stuff) there’s a pretty good view — Great sound: self explanatory The bad: — Ridiculous prices for food & drinks inside. Make sure to do your eating and drinking before entering. $ 14 for a beer — LOL — MUD! If you come here anytime when it has rained in the past few days and you have lawn seats, get ready to get your feet muddy and grassy and gross. Lawn chairs(vs towels/blankets) would be best for these types of days. And watch your step… I’ve seen tons of people slip and get their entire bodies dirty. — The bathrooms: just gross. Oh and they run out of toilet paper all the time. Improvements could definitely be made, but it’s always a good time nonetheless.

Open air theatre with lawn seating as well as assigned seat options. Food trucks and bar concessions, they’ll even rent you the lawn chairs if you didn’t bring your own. Great prices too! Love this place! Great variety of world renowned artists in their lineup!

Love, love this place. It was our first time here and we were pleasantly surprised with the intimate feeling of the amphitheater. Although we sat in the seat under the tent the grass seating is awesome. Bring your low lawn chairs and umbrella just in case. Tickets are totally reasonable. You’ll spend more money on beer and food then you will the price of concert tickets. We had a blast!

Wonderful venue, but ridiculous alcohol policy. I am 34 years old, but I don’t currently have a driver’s license. The signs on all of the beer and alcohol stands say that a US Passport is a valid form of ID, but they refused to accept mine, even when I offered several other forms of identification with my name on them. I found this to be utterly ridiculous. I don’t get carded much anymore, and consider it a compliment when I do, but I thought they were actually joking with me when they refused to serve me with the most valid form of identification anyone could carry. I have no problem presenting an ID, but I DO have a problem with being refused service when I am well over the legal drinking age. Furthermore, you can’t post that it’s an acceptable form of identification right on the stand then refuse it. I love going to concerts and have gone to many at this venue, but I’ll no longer return. I’ll go somewhere where I will be served without a problem. You probably lost 50.00 from me last night in beer sales.

It’s a toss up between which is worse about this venue(and most TM operated amphitheaters) — outdated curfew(no concert will go past 11p) or the in-the-middle-of-nowhere location. But if you want to see a mainstream act in WPB, this may be your only option for most of the year(aside from Sunfest). They do the typical gouging for parking, but strangely there is another lot on the South FL Fairgrounds that does not charge at all. It is only ½ block from the paid lot but this is not mentioned by the venue for obvious reasons. Seek it out. The seats are in good condition & the sound system/layout is adequate. The weather can be horrendous out on the elevated lawn(extreme heat & downpours), so I’d recommend paying a bit extra for a seat in the covered sections. That being said, the GA lawn is large & provides a decent view of the stage but you may be drawn to the large TV monitors attached to the edge of the roof. If you have kiddos, there is a section up front that doesn’t permit alcohol.

Cruzan has a large stadium seating area with a large inclined lawn area which wraps around the stage. BUT, the sound is totally impressive. There is directed parking which opens 3 hours before the show starts. You can bring in tote bags and backpacks but they will be searched. Also some people in our party were searched. You can bring in 1 closed water bottle per person and 1 gallon size bag of food. You can not bring in any alcohol. We tailgated before the show in the parking lot so we had food and drinks there before we went inside. The Journey concert was amazing. The sound could not be better, the lighting was brilliant and the TV broadcast was professional and clear. The only issue is getting out of the parking lot as there is not direct lanes to exit. It’s best to wait until the crazy traffic empties because cars are driving in every direction to find an exit.

I’ve been to Cruzan(though they just changed the name back to Coral Sky) numerous times. I’ve had seats all over, and I like the venue. Buying tickets here is a risky venture. I don’t generally spend the money for the up close tickets, though a few years ago I did for Rib Roundup and it was amazing being front and center. I say it is risky because we live in south Florida, and unpredictable rain is a given. I often buy the lawn seats here(more than once I have found them on Groupon for $ 20) and I find them to be pretty good. Bring in your own chair, and as long as you come in when the venue opens you can get a seat near the front of the lawn and have just as good a view as those who paid for seats farther back in the amphitheater. I have been lucky and always missed the rain sitting in the lawn. However, this past weekend I was there for my third Rib Roundup concert in a row. I bought decent seats in what I thought was a covered area; however, the South Florida rain was blowing everywhere, so the cover didn’t help all that much, luckily it cleared up as the night went on. They also have VIP seating in little ‘booths” in the center of the amphitheater where waitress service is offered. I looked up the pricing for those for those for the particular event I was at and it wasn’t bad, it’s more the tab you will run up with the waitress that will be the main expense I assume. I find the staff here to be well organized, though annoying at times. They are very particular about closing off sections so that only those with seats in the immediate area can walk through; however, the way things are setup this often results in your have to walk circles around the venue to get to the bathrooms or concessions when there was obviously a direct path you just weren’t allowed to take. I can see both sides of this, but when it is raining I wish they would have a little more leeway to let you walk in covered areas. Food and drink wise things here are pretty over priced, as one would expect at a concert venue, but you are allowed to bring in one sealed water bottle of your own, and food in a clear bag, so buying something inside isn’t necessarily a must. Rib Roundup however is a day long event, so despite eating before we went in and bringing in my own water, I found I need food hours later. I was very pleased to find that they have upgraded their options beyond hamburgers, hot dogs, and chicken fingers. I was able to get a portobello burger with arugula! They also allow food trucks to park within during certain events so you aren’t always limited to the concession stands. I have had experiences where the credit card machine have been touch and go, so it is probably best to have a little cash on you.

I am a total fan of any venue that mixes music with beer and food! I have been here about 4 times now, and I have loved the atmosphere in every show I’ve been to. The people that work there are very nice, and always smiling, which is phenomenal given the fact they have to deal with all kinds of people all day. I really love the open lawn in the back because you can just bring your blankets and enjoy some good music while breathing fresh air. The ambiance is very laid back, and the sound system they have is great! I have been to other arenas like the American Airlines in Miami, and their audio is just awful, but here whatever they are doing is certainly working. Even though this place is like 1 hour away from my house, I will keep coming back because they always have good shows, food and drinks! Let’s keep rocking out!!!

Here for a festival that has music on the main stage and in the side parking area with lots of food trucks. The music quality is fantastic and really good sight lines from any of the seated area. Beware, it is all outside, but all seats are covered. Lawn is fun if you want to lay out in the sun and chill. Plenty of food and drinks/beers options. I’ve come here for years and always have a good time. Only complaint is limited number of bathrooms, especially if the band skews to female fans. :)

Love this venue. Its big, loud, packed and always fun. There are covered seats and then a lawn where you can take lawn chairs and blankets(this is the fun part). I’ve been to numerous concerts here and have always had a great time. Its super fun to get there early and tailgate before the show, also to chill in the parking lot and eat some food after(theres going to be traffic leaving anyways). The only thing that sucks(just like any show in miami) the beer is SO overpriced and there’s not usually a great selection. But oh well, beggars can’t be choosers and a cold beer is necessary when watching your favorite bands play. I will continue to come here over and over again.
