I am in the process of restoring my 1965 Corvette. Part of the restoration was the bumpers. This proved to be a real problem for me. The bumpers on the car were original and had a couple of rust through holes in them(one we could see and several we could not). I took them to other plating companies and was told they were trash and I needed to replace because they weren’t worth restoring. So I started to look for replacements. I found out that new(restoration ANDGM authorized) replacements were not only made overseas, BUT were of lesser metal. I bit the bullet and ordered them as a last resort. If it want for the lack of stock EVERYWHERE, i would not have found Palm Beach plating. I was lamenting my situation with the shop owner restoring the body of my car and he told me of Palm Beach Plating saying that he has never used them, but that I should at least give them a try. I am glad I did. Not only did the owner thoroughly inspect the bumpers with me, he told me that it was no problem repairing the holes and he could refurbish them for about half of the cost of replacing them with cheaper metal after market ones. I was given a six week completion date due to the work load he currently had and he was actually finished early! He kept me updated on the progress and was very professional. These bumpers look better than new. They are show quality AND they are the original bumpers to the car. Thank you Patrick. I will certainly let everyone I know that your and your crews workmanship and finished product is second to none. Thanks again for helping restore my car.
