Atmosphere is interesting, but the food is mediocre at best. For the prices you are paying, one would expect a higher quality of food. They try, but they aren’t hitting the mark. ASTRONOMICAL prices for what is being served. If you are looking to spend that much money, I would recommend another restaurant where the quality matches. Although the food was sub par, the service was great. Our server was very nice and attentive.

Great food, ambience and service ! 5 star chef that plates beautiful and tasty dishes. Like dining in a contemporary art museum.

DONOTGOTOTHISRESTAURANT!!! I went here with my family about two months ago and parked with their valet. We came out after spending a fortune on a mediocre dinner and the valet had damaged my brand new Tesla! Emko is not taking any responsibility for their valet company at all! So I guess if you eat there and get sick from their food they will deny that it was their food? My damage is $ 2300 and they don’t seem to care one bit! DON’T EATATTHISRESTAURANT!!! We had EMKO valet guys park our new Tesla and they damaged it for a tune of $ 2300.00! A very expensive not so great meat! The restaurant owner and valet company told us «too bad… too sad»! They don’t give a darn! We will tell everyone we know not to spend their hard earned money there!

Great place for an outdoor event — awesome outdoor art everywhere you look. Service team bent over backwards and was incredibly wonderful with everyone.

Definitely worth checking out. This a cool place with a unique concept for this area. Within this space there are art galleries, a restaurant, a coffee bar, bakery, gourmet market and juice bar. We’ve only visited the restaurant, a couple of times, and it is very good. The dishes were innovative and the food was very flavorful. We’ve had several different dishes and all of them were delicious. Their pasta was home made and cooked perfectly. The pierogi were rich and the crab was a perfect light contrast, couldn’t get enough of this dish. The wine list is decent, with some good choices of wines by the glass. Overall a great experience. I must say though, the website is a bit cryptic and it would be helpful if they could add the restaurant’s menu to it so people can check it out.

We had a terrible experience here tonight. The service was atrocious. We had to ask for water numerous times and then we still had to wait. The food all came out at once(an hour after we ordered it.) We asked to speak to a manager to voice our complaints but it did nothing. The worst part was the owner just stood in a corner in a baseball hat and did not even approach any of the tables. While the space was cool and the food good, the experience was so terrible we will never be back.

I’m slowly making my way through the menu that’s plated like art and tastes like it too. I never give all 5 stars but I’ve been coming here since the opening and it has never disappointed. The atmosphere is a mix of black box and gallery from a sophisticated art scene that is constantly morphing and evolving. From the drinks, to the food, to the unique art installations, Emko is the complete package.

My 1st5 I have ever given. The passion behind the restoration alone is well worth the experience. Our party of 4 all raved about their entrees. Wine list impressed those in our group who know about those things and their selection was very pleasing. It was a very quiet evening on an off-season Monday night. They are still spooling up but when the season kicks into high gear Jereve will be The Place to be. Hope to see more art galleries join this new Dixie Highway ensemble.

I almost never give a 5-star rating with just one visit, but the entire Emko/Jereve experience was so sublimely perfect, there was no other option. Let’s start with the ambiance. The main dining area connects to the entrance through a small art installation and lounge. This night featured some very cool floral arrangements. The space is a feast for the eyes, from industrial/abstract light fixtures and benches to rustic wooden tables. The old Ragtops space has undergone a complete transformation. The juxtaposition of old pecky cypress ceiling and corbels(original) above with modern installations below captivated me throughout the meal. I also want their entire playlist. Our evening began with cocktails. My potion was a potent, spicy mix of Mezcal, ancho chilis, and pineapple. Next, fried oysters artfully displayed in shells with a delicate aioli in each. The main course, spinach pierogi with crab. The presentation of this dish was spectacular. Dessert was epic: a key lime tart with a crown of meringue and a little graham cracker-dusted scoop of strawberry tarragon sorbet. I wanted to go back to the kitchen and hold hostages until they gave me all the sorbet to take home. We enjoyed a stroll through the little marketplace and outdoor sculpture garden. The outdoor seating looked amazing and will likely draw big crowds come season. This place is the perfect addition to Flamingo Park and the burgeoning art district on Dixie. I will be crossing the days off my calendar until my next return, which will likely be tomorrow morning to sample the«Untitled» coffee bar. X. Here I come!

A ridiculously pretentious rip-off: calls itself«a culinary studio»…puleeze. Said only 6:30&8:30 seatings & no 7:30 availability. Our party of 4 arrived 7:30 when place was 1⁄3 full & it remained 1⁄3 for the night. Clueless waiter recommended wine«special of the day» & I stupidly didn’t ask price(which he shd have given) which was $ 125. Soft shell crab special($ 32) had ONE crab. $ 385 for 4 w tip. They’ve put a ton of $$ into a former garage & are trying to recoup it with New York City pricing of overly complicated dishes.

I’m floored every time I visit this restaurant. The evening their is an experience not only in taste but visually, as well. The design is excellent, the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and the menu is top notch. I’ve tasted most of the menu, and everything is great. The wine list is awesome with many good, moderately priced bottles. I don’t have one critique. I’m so happy this is in my backyard.

I know this is a soft open until all the kinks can be corrected for the beginning of season so I’ll be kind with this review. On the upside, Fun, unique, artsy, ambiance. A great place to hang out for«social hour». The staff are eager to please and seem really proud of the establishment. The place tries to mimic the artsy miami vibe through the décor and menu So now here is the Downside. The coffee from the coffee bar was tepid and lacking flavor. The wine by the glass selection was poorly described. Should have been carefully selected to ensure that the patrons will enjoy the wine at any price levels. For goodness sake, you can buy a palatable bottle at Publix for $ 6.99. They can afford to give better tasting wines at $ 8 a glass. The food was a bit fussy and pretentious. Some dishes were better than others. The portions are small but beautifully presented. Perhaps trying to compete with Buccan. The cheese and charcuterie plate was great. And the baguette was the best I’ve had in the area. I will be back for social hour since the wine by the glass is half priced, just to see how they progressed. Can’t wait for the bakery to open

A five star environment, with interesting very esoteric food. If rabbit and wild mushrooms are your passion, then you’ll be in heaven. The menu is too limited for most tastes. They’ve spend a s**tload of money on décor and ambiance. The cuisine is creative, but with very few choices, and no daily specials. I’ve been there twice, and had the same dish both times, as there were few options that interested me. I probably won’t go again for another few months. Good luck, but expand the menu

I have to say… the place is cool. Its like a big unique spot you would find in Brooklyn NY. The menu isn’t extensive, but you will want to try every item on it! This is going to be my new spot.

I was excited to attend the grand opening this evening of the much anticipated«EMKO», and much to my dismay the food was minuscule and very overpriced. Our waiter was not attentive at all, and our entire table ordered the soup and no spoons were provided. I frequent restaurants like Table 26, Le Rendezvous, etc., and they are much more welcoming, attentive, and serve delicious cuisine. If you want to spend your dinner time eating small portions for an exuberant price, then EMKO is the place for you. I won’t ever return to this restaurant.

If you’re curious, adventurous and creatively inclined, this is the spot for you! Experience something new and delicious with every bite. Aesthetically pleasing from the walls to the lighting and most importantly to the plating. Service is top notch with extremely knowledgable staff members. You won’t be disappointed and you will always be pleasantly surprised!
