Cock-A-Doodle-Doo Petting Zoo

Having Cock-A-Doodle-Doo’s petting zoo at my daughter’s 7^th birthday party worked out beautifully! First, it was a lovely surprise for all the kiddos (including birthday girl) to get to cuddle the little critters! There was a large age range at the party, but everyone commented how they had a super time! Surprisingly, there was not a clear favorite animal! …some preferred the piglet, while others the little bunnies, and at least one preferred the cow! I think my husband preferred the ducklings. My daughter still remembers the goats’ names!
Second, the entertainment really took a load of work off of my hands. Rodger was very easy to work with and showed up exactly as scheduled despite his long journey to get to my house. And, all the animals’ pens were clean and fresh! For the first part of Rodger’s party time there I finished up a few things in the kitchen. Then I went outside to enjoy!
Next year I will ask them to stay longer and perhaps I will splurge for face painting or a climbing wall.

Very unprofessional, unethical and unreliable! My husband spoke with Candance Sunday afternoon to check if she would be available to bring her ponies for my daughter’s birthday party; we gave her the day and time and she said that she would be able to do it. My husband called the next day in the morning to reserve our day and time and spoke to her daughter who confirmed that the time and day that we wanted was available so he made a reservation. I paid the deposit Monday night, my husband called Tuesday morning to make sure they had received the deposit and to double check that everything was fine. The daughter confirmed our day and time and said to call back a few days before the party to give them directions. Wednesday morning we get an e-​mail from Candance cancelling! Her excuse, she has a big event that day that requires all her ponies! Give me a break! She cancelled because a bigger event was offered to her after we had already confirmed our day and time 3 times and paid our deposit! This company is a joke, unethical, unreliable and unprofessional!

I wanted to back up Candace’s comment because yes, she did contact me as mentioned in the email. Haven’t taken advantage of her offer so I can’t actually comment on the quality of the show or other service.
