1 Stop Generator Shop

I would NEVER do business with these guys again! Their owner, Jon Andio lied to my face about how he did business and then screamed at me on the phone today.
I paid them over $ 18K for a backup generator in May, 2015 — it wasn’t installed and operational until September 22, 2015! I heard lots of stories from this guy about why, but the real reason is that I paid him up front as he asked.
They took forever to return calls and despite getting told UP FRONT by the county that they had placed the generator a few inches in the wrong spot and would have to move it — they ignored the big red lettered stamp on the permit and then didn’t tell anyone. The owner claims that his wife/​daughter/​assistant/​person in his office who gets blamed didn’t tell him while he was out of town.
That doesn’t explain how he could take over 90 days to finish this job!
Rather than walk me through the unit and the web setup, as he promised, he simply threw the manual with handwritten prices for the warranty on my backyard grill counter. Then I didn’t hear from him for another week.
I finally reached him today, and he started screaming at me — this guy is NOT A PROFESSIONAL. He’s upset because I PAID HIM $ 18K and want what I was promised.
They finally came to do the walk through yesterday and the installer, Jared, pointed out that a switch was turned off and that there was NO WAY it could be even been tested previously. I’m very concerned that they won’t be able or willing to honor their 1 year service warranty.
