Pleasant Way Cleaners

I was very excited to have found organic cleaning with positive reviews so I gave it a try — brought 8 pair of pants and one shirt with coffee stain. They usually do not dry clean shirts, only laundry them for $ 1.50, but I paid $ 5.50 for the shirt and asked to dry clean it, because I knew laundering won’t get rid of a coffee stain. I came back in three days and picked up my pants, but was told that coffee stain from the shirt did not go away so they want to keep it another 3 days. This was disappointment, because I had to come back there again. Anyway I went back and was told that my shirt is ready, but stain is better now, but there the stain can still be seen. As much as I was disappointed about the poor work and lost time, this is not the biggest complaint I have (perhaps it should be!) — my biggest complaint is that my shirt had two holes on each sleeve almost symmetrical. Before posting this review I called dry cleaner to hear her explanation — she actually denied the obvious and told me to bring the short back so that she can explain in more details why it was not her fault. At this time I decided to stop my losses and just «take my business elsewhere». I am going to have another look at my dry cleaned pants and should I even notice a slight problem with them I would have to work with VISA to stop payment for the lousy job and seek repayment of damages — hope pants are ok, because I really don’t want to get involved with all this.

They get my clothes clean.
They have my clothes ready by the ticket date.
They are reasonably priced.
They’ve done minor repairs and alterations at a fine quality in a quick time frame inexpensively.
They haven’t lost or ruined any of my clothes.
There have been a handful of garments that they simply could not remove a stain or two from – though in most cases I’d have been surprised if they had.

O wow. I didn’t think this dry cleaners was on Unilocal.I’ve been going here since I moved to west orange. They are great. No complaints. If you need something done, they’ll help you out. Being organic is a plus. They’re in that small plaza where the bagel box is.

Way to go, for a Cleaners! This is an organic, no off-​gassing volatile organic compounds type dry (?) cleaners. (Whew!) Your clothes come out clean not with that I’ll pass out first scent a la PVC (polyVinyl Chloride) shower curtains or new cars.
There are many dry cleaners in West Orange but not so many organic, if there are any others out there… if you find any, let me know.
Say hi to Jin while you are there. His mother in law also tends the fabulous plants that grow by the wall and does the sewing/​alterations.
They both give fantastic advice and are very friendly, efficient and courteous.
