Dentistry For Children of West Essex

Awesome first visit for my toddler. I think I was more nervous about the appointment than her but everything went so smoothly. When we walked in we felt welcomed — her name was written on the board — and all the staff was friendly. Dr Eytel was wonderful with my daughter. He was gentle and explained everything to her.
Most parents that I talk to rave about this practice… now I know why.

The dentist was so lovely but unfortunately she left… and she frankly was the only reason I returned after my first two visits. They came to my sons preschool and got us in with a free first visit coupon. They were very nice to start. Again, the dentist and her assistant were very nice. The hygienists were hit or miss. Sometimes they didn’t really seem to like kids. But the lady in charge of billing and appointments was so mean and nasty that Each time, I never wanted to return. And once the dentist left, I did not go back. The billing lady was humiliating. She refused to make follow-​up appointments until bills (from the same day) were paid in full prior to my leaving the premises. If I made a partial payment, an appointment could not be made until I sent in the rest. I understand if they have a policy but I always paid my bills and her demeanor was so awful that she made the entire experience a bad one. The whole office and my children were subjected to her loud demands of me, and it was unnecessary. I always paid my bills, although it sometimes took more than one installment. But I can sleep at night knowing I always did the right thing. The practice lost two patients because of her unnecessary and unkind behavior. I’m sure I’m not alone.
