It’s still a pretty nice facility. There are two rinks. One with stadium style seating, the other with bleacher style seating. Both ice surfaces are well maintained. In the summer months they melt one of the surfaces and have roller and floor hockey leagues. There are concessions, arcade games and a hockey/ice based sports shop inside where you can have your skates sharpened in addition to purchasing sporting goods. Parking is ample, especially with the addition of the adjacent parking deck. They have all sorts of hockey leagues for multiple age groups as well as skating lessons and«open» skates for the public, all for reasonable prices. The ice can be rented, but be prepared to get an off time in the middle of the night, as most of the prime times are snatched up by regular leagues and groups. Unfortunately, the NJ Devils no longer practice here. Those practices used to be free and open to the public, but now they’ve moved on to Newark and the Prudential Center.

Nice clean facility with plenty of room to skate or sit in the bleachers. Some decent food options and a small arcade are on premises. There is plenty of parking and it is conveniently located next to Turtle Back Zoo.

I honestly don’t know what can not be hosted at this venue. I went to this arena(ice rink) for wrestling tournaments(over 3 years) and for my brother’s graduation and my high school graduation will also be hosted here on this upcoming Thursday. I like how spacious the arena is, the numerous food options, and the arcade as well. Everything just flows well and is accessible which makes the Cody Arena a terrific place to host numerous events. The only thing that you would want to leave the house with is a jacket because it is an «ice rink», so do not expect it to be warm inside.
