Original Prestos

Presto’s was recommended when I moved to area and i have says its defintely the best pizza in the area. Full on flavortown !! Friendly and helpful staff and fast delivery. Haven’t had a slice yet I haven’t liked.

Went in last night and the Manager/​Owner was very hospitable and really made me feel like a valued guest. This is the first time I’ve eaten here and he even offered me 2 zeppoles on the house. I ordered a calzone which was the biggest one I’ve had in years and even put in enough «extra» sauce.
He was taking orders and making recommendations on the menu to everyone ordering. You don’t find the amazing experience I had much these days and you could tell by the way everyone else was interacting they genuinely enjoyed everything as well. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the area.

This is now my go-​to pizza spot as a newbie in this neighborhood. Service is awesome and their pizza is crispy and soft at the same time. Love this place!

This was the only place open during the one bad winter storm we had. We were very grateful for it as our cabin fever took over. We recently just went back and I must say, the staff and the food were amazing. I’m not a pizza person but this pizza I will definitely eat over and over! Thin crisp and fresh. Margarita pizza is my favorite. We also ordered the buffalo wings and they were delicious. We will be coming back and making this our go to spot. Joseph demonstrates great hospitality the customers and a family feel. Will defiantly be back.

Favorite spot since my childhood days and their pizza is still delicious, great varieties to choose from, and of course great taste. Def recommend anyone in west New York to come by and grab a slice!

A friend of mine ordered a large primervera wow crispy and juicy fresh cheese and veggies not to much sauce or oil perfecto is presto!

We Order from this place at least once a week, often twice or more and the food is generally good/​ok and delivery is as expected during good/​bad weather. The delivery guys are always nice.

We think this place is awesome. We have been here a few times now and then — having lived in the area for a little over a year. The food is aways good and more to the point the PEOPLE are REALLY nice which makes all the difference, I think. There are numerous pizza joints in the area but when you pair good friendly service with good food and a reasonable price, you can’t beat it. If you are like us and reading this review trying to decide on a new pizza/​Italian spot — trust us, give Prestos a shot, you won’t be disappointed!

Love this spot. I order everything from the Chicken Parm sandwiches to Salads to Pies with Extra Cheese and Pepperoni pies for the family.
Good Customer Service top to bottom. The owner Joe always greets us with smile. His energy radiates through his employees.
Doesn’t matter if you’re sitting outside on the tables during a summer day or getting food delivered after a long day at the office. Prestos rocks. Hands down.

I will say that this place has a very polite, attentive staff. Since I’m gluten free, I wasn’t able to partake in the pizza. The cheese was decent. My sister and children thought it was pretty good though.
I’m turned off by the fact that I saw a fly in a display case. I them and he assured me that they didn’t actually serve the display cakes the fly was landing on. Ok 1) if that cake isn’t served, then how did the case get open for the fly to get in? 2) if a fly can get into, and land on the cake that is «for show», isn’t it likely that flies could get into the pizza is that is served and has a case that is opened far more frequently? I received no answer for this.

Very satisfied with this place. The guys are not just cute, but most professional! Was in the mood for pizza and did not know where to order. Remembered I had stopped once at that location and enjoyed the service and the pizza. Called and had courteous service. Ordered a large pie: half with cheese and half with pepperoni. Was told would arrive 40−45mins, walked my dog meanwhile. And as soon as I came home the ordered arrived. They only took 20 minutes to deliver my order!!! The guy once again was most charming and courteous. The pizza pipping hot! Came up and ate and it truly was delicious. Great sauce! Like it a bit crispier, but it was equally good. They also added extra garlic powder and pepper flakes as per my request. Not bad for a neighborhood pizza. thank you guys.

Not so great. The cost and quality does not fit with each other. I am pretty sure something can be fixed to make it better.

The worst pizza ever. Ordered from here last week. Delivery was fast (hence 2 stars) but the pizza crust was thick and chewy the cheese wasn’t fresh and sparse. We ended up adding our own cheese to make it work. Guess we’re still on the search for our fav pizza spot in North Bergen.

Pizza, wings, mozz sticks to go… Effin $ 50 with tip! And waited about 20 to 25 minutes in the store watching these fools butcher the easiest order ever. Mind you the owner was standing right there next to them. He doesn’t know about food, doesn’t care or take pride in making a good meal, and should get out of the business.
Horrible! Nasty! Worst food ever and I got sick in the middle of the night. NEVER AGAIN! This was his 3^rd chance in 3 years and no more. Period. Pizza is gross. Dough is all bread, chewy, and way too oily. Ordered the white pizza and the high school idiot forgot the ricotta. Ordered an extra side of sauce and they forgot it too. Nasty soggy wings drenched in sauce. All breading, no meat. And the mozz sticks were cold by the time we got home.
It appears these numb nuts boy toys he has working don’t know how to make food. And especially don’t know how to time the food correct… as in, 5 min before pizza is ready then the other stuff is cooked. I live 2 blocks away so food should be piping hot when I get home from my 2 minute walk.
I gave 2 slices and 4 wings to the door man and valet in my building, and now I feel bad bc they may think I’m pawning off crap food to them. My friend and I both agreed it was the most disgusting take out food we’ve eaten in a long time probably ever. We threw away 3 slices And 4 wings straight into the garbage… this sums it up.
I’ve grown up in the food industry, my bread and butter for survival. I know food. I take pride in what I make and serve. It irks me when others don’t and I overpay.

Two visits — great service both times. The pizza quality was inconsistent, however. First time, we ate in on a Sat afternoon and it was amazing. Thin crispy crust, just perfection!
Last night (a Friday) we ordered pizza and wings to go. The wings were soggy and mostly breading/​skin. The sauce was spot on, on the bright side. The pizza had at least a half inch of dough. Doughy pizza, not yummy. We actually checked the menu to see if there was two different styles of pizza and maybe we had gotten a deep dish by mistake.
Well give it one more chance, in case there was a new cook or it was just an accident but I was definitely disappointed last night. :(
I’ve split the difference and given them just 3 stars.

This has to be the best pizza in NJ. MY TWO FAVORITE dishes is the eggplant parm and the Lasagna PIZZA! To die for. Its very tiny but there is outdoor seating in the summer and a few tables indoor.

Came here on a business trip and was recommended this place by the landlord at the condo we rented. Pizza was AMAZING. Had the buffalo chicken pizza with their buffalo wings. Sauce came on the side, but was equally delicious. Very crispy wings.
Went 2 days in a row and will be back before we leave!

I just ordered from there … a chicken roll… bread cheese grilled chicken simple ?? Nope … guy says 10.45 I say wow that’s a pricey chicken roll must be good … I walk down the block go in house open box and I see a extra large unshapped calzone I try to take a bite it’s chopped up chicken not grilled with tons of ricotta… plain nasty I go back I show them they say we will make you another I said no I’m not doing that again give me 2 slices n give me change he says can’t u already ate it. I took 1 bite… u couldn’t resell this anyway… Never again will I eat there n I don’t recommend any to I should have known since I had the pizza b4 n it’s sub par if I could post a picture I would… I did post the picture last one of the beige whale with sauce

I recently ordered from Prestos for the 1^st time in a long time. The owner was great. Friendly, warm and caring.
I got the prestos special pizza w alittle of everything. They were very generous w the ingredients. Maybe alittle 2 generous as the center was bogged down to where it made the pizza soggy and limp. The toppings, pepperoni, sausage, onions, artichoke, mushrooms, olives and peppers were fresh and tasty. At $ 22 for a large the price was right. The crust was alittle too doughy and the result was an abundance of well, dough. A slightly lighter amount would have allowed the crust to be crunchy and not have actually been a thich breadstick surrounding my pizza.
I also ordered their buffalo wings, which i always do when ordering for the 1^st time from an unknown restaurant. I feel this is a good gauge into what a place is going to be like. They seemed frozen, a no-​no as this is a totally inexpensive menu item to make from scratch, sauce included. They were underwhelming, and i hate it when they’re not tossed in the buffalo sauce, but rather include that on the side.
In fairness, i have stopped by in the past for a couple slices and a soda. Everytime the service has been outstanding. The slices have always been tasty and satisfying.
I only wish i could add a half star to my review based solely on the service and ownership.

Ok, so you’re on death row and your time has come. They ask you what you want for your last meal, but they stipulate it has to be pizza. In this situation I would order Presto’s Avishai Special small pie (4 good size slices): fresh mozzarella, sliced tomatoes, fresh garlic, ricotta, basil. Tastes amazing. It is a relatively simple combination, but they use good quality mozzarella and ricotta, and the garlic nocks the whole thing out of the park. Another favorite is their Puttanesca pie: tomatoes, olives, capers, artichokes, mozzarella. If you like capers, you’ll love this pie.
Overall, the negative reviews regarding delivery are spot-​on, they take FOREVER. And it does come cold sometimes. But the quality of the pizza, specifically the two I mentioned, is amazing. My man likes the Presto’s burger. I have ordered pasta more frequently than I care to admit; sometimes it was good, and sometimes it wasn’t prepared very well. I often times was able to order my own custom pasta dishes, which I always appreciated the staffs’ complying with my requests. They can be a little gruff over the phone, but if you pick up the order they are always nice in person.
