I’ve tried to order from this place but evidently I sound too white or something. The moment the women hear my voice they hang up on me. It’s a shame. It’s fine though Rumba Cubana has much better food and they don’t hang up on you.

The food was pretty good even though it took an hour and a half to get here by delivery considering I only live a few blocks away. When the driver got here the first time there was no knock on the door and when I called they said that I was supposed to go outside waiting for the driver in 38 degree weather. I mean wasn’t it supposed to be a delivery?! And when the driver arrived I wanted to give him a tip but he rejected and left my hand hanging which was a very rude thing to do on his part tbh. But the manager was pretty nice on the phone though.

The place is loud as it is, but without notice, they allow amateur singers to bring their loud speakers and start singing to the crowd, making it uncomfortable, super loud and annoying. When I complained about the high volume and lack of notice(I just wanted to have a sit down meal), the guy at the cash register told me that«if I was intelligent, I would have switched tables to be away from the music.» Disrespectful, horrible service and rude. I would never go back or recommend this place to anybody.

Steak and shrimp here are delicious. Fast friendly service. They have the dishes written in English on the menu with photos. Even if the server doesn’t speak English they will go out of their way to accomodate you. Ive eaten here 5 times. Had a great experience every time. Ive only eaten at lunch time. Never dinner time.

I have ate at the other location in union city, which was always packed, this seems to be a bigger location and the price was a little more expensive than the other location. Food just as good… my experience at this one, seems to be a younger crowd(my age) mid 20s when i went to eat with friends. This time around i didnt get the bandeja paisa i wasnt in the mood to eat like a champ hahaha. i still beasted and went with the steak, shrimp, chicken with rice and tostones… my friend and brother went and did the bandeja paisa because they can eat all day everyday lol

Really bad food. We ordered chicken, pork, steak and shrimp dishes. To be fair, the shrimp was okay, but the pork, chicken and steak dishes were all dry, flavorless, and over-cooked. We could not even finish our food. Also my cup of water was dirty. They were nice about it and gave us a bottle of water. Lastly, the service is slow and the restaurant was FREEZING! I had to wear a heavy winter coat so I could eat in comfort. I don’t normally rate restaurants, but this place is so bad that I had to leave this review. Save yourself time and money.

The 3 stars is for the food. The food is great and reasonably priced. I’m taking away the 2 stars because it took 2 hours before the delivery guy showed up. It’s been my experiences that the delivery service in West New York has been the worse. Ordered from a similar restaurant in the area also took over an hour and a half to be delivered. Unless it’s a Chinese restaurant don’t hold your breath waiting for the delivery– you may passed out first! To the restaurant owner — if you are going to offer a delivery service, could you please make sure you have enough resources to see it through? Thank you.

The food is pretty good but a little overpriced, you do get a good portion though. The service can be poor at times especially when you call for a delivery, you always get a new waitress that’s being train and you can hear them asking for help to place the orders. Other then that you do get ok service for a restaurant that is always busy.

My friend and I just went in there today around 1:20 and I understand it was really packed but people were coming in after us and they were getting served right away while we had to wait for more than half an hour. The food was alright, nothing more to expect from Noches. I ordered the grilled chicken with mushroom sauce and my friend had ordered her food with also a side of arepa with cheese. Halfway through our food we were full so we ended up asking for our food to go, which also took us three waitresses to ask about our takeaway. Later some lady comes up to us and says someone in the kitchen threw away our leftovers thinking it was garbage and we had just finished paying for our check. Mind you my friend didn’t touch her arepa at all so we asked them to just take that off our check. But when I heard that they threw out my food I was already upset. After twenty more mins, the same lady that told us the bad news told me that the chef was already working on a new plate for me. And at that time I was so fed up with waiting I told her I didn’t want it anymore and I just asked her to take a little off of our check. She then told me that it will take five mins and so I decided to wait. After five minutes the lady was no where to be found and I just had enough and I just walked out. She should have not told me that it was only going to take five minutes when in reality it was going to be twenty minutes. If that was the case I would have left a while ago. Never stepping foot into this place ever again. The time is just not worth it. There’s just so many ladies that walk around yet you can’t even get any of them to take your order. I don’t get how some lady thought I was asking for napkins when I was basically saying hot sauce loud and clear. And what the fuck is up with all these fuckers walking around trying to sell bootleg versions of movies and kids’ toys?! Like please get the fuck away from my face, I’m trying to eat.

In Secaucus for a few nights, I needed to get to a Staples in North Bergen before it closed at 9. I made it in time and then wanted to get some dinner. I Unilocal’d from my iPhone and was sent to two different Italian places that were either on vacation or «For Rent»! I started driving around Union City until I hit Bergenline Ave, where there was lots of activity, even in a summer rainstorm! I saw lots of small places to eat but wasn’t excited by any of them, until I came across Noches de Columbia. It was open, there were people inside, and it looked clean. I parked then went inside and grabbed a table. A large menu quickly appeared with pictures of all their items and I went right for the Grilled Tilapia with vegetables,($ 10!). I watched lots of large plates of great looking food getting delivered to the other tables so I was anxiously awaiting my dish and it didn’t disappoint! It came out like fajitas and took a few minutes to cool down. It was delish! Perfectly grilled fish with broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots. Lots of limes on the side. It needed nothing. I read lots of reviews about their breakfasts, which I look forward to try next time I’m here. Muy bueno!

This place is amazing. Typical colombian food done right. Big in quality and quantity. All for a really low price; we were shocked at how inexpensive food is here. The only one bad thing this place has is that since it’s so popular it’s always packed so wait time for a table takes quite a while but it’ll be so worth it. Our group of 6 ordered a mixed platter and everyone was satisfied. The drinks they serve like their margaritas topped with coronas are about $ 17-$ 21 dollars if I remember correctly but they are HUMONGOUS. So worth it. Loved the live music as there was a man playing the accordion and singing vallenatos when we showed up. Not sure if it’s a recurrent feature. Would recommend to anyone in the area. Our waitress was beyond attentive! She was given a well deserved big tip.

Great food, Fast service, Large portions, and Cheap! I lived right on 57th for a few years, and always went to Noches with my GF1 – 2 times a week. Believe me, we didn’t just go because it was conveniently located within a few feet from my apt door. In my opinion, this is the best restaurant on Bergenline. I’m living in Cali now and was sitting in Noches within 2 hours of landing in NJ. Go to spot.

The issue here is part food, mostly service. So the food is as normal as most other«tipica colombia» food I’ve had on the east coast, cornmeal empanadas, bland little arepas, unnecessarily huge plates of greasy french fries with rice and some meat entrée. I was thoroughly annoyed that you had to walk in, seat yourself, the majority of workers spoke little to zero english and therefore kept ignoring us. We had to get up and flag people down several times. They couldn’t explain anything we just had to point to what we wanted. It’s bustling, it’s big plates of quick fresh food. There were alot of extras on the plate that I just didn’t get. Salad, plantains, french fries, arepa, avocado, sausage all on one plate, i was slightly overwhelmed. The locals seemed to love it so there you have it. I was impressed by the bakery portion as the baked goods kept coming out of the oven and smelled wonderful.

Nice staff, large plates of food with reasonable price, fast service. Noches de Colombia is a great place for Latin American food. And compare to other restaurants in this area, a lot of them accept only cash, Noches de Colombia accepts credit card, which to me is a plus.

Is this place for real? The monstrous creation called«Bandeja Paisa» just shut me up very fast. Would I do it all over again? Yes I would. Things just got crazy. This plate is packed tight and at times overflowing with plantains, mountains of rice and beans, steak with eggs, chorizo, biscuits, half an avocado and of course a whole slab of intact chicharron blanketing the plate. I’m working each section but nothing is going away. It is never ending. For $ 15, which is a deal in my mind, this overflowing concoction can be yours. Clean establishment, quick service and most items on the menu being around the $ 7 mark is always a plus for me.
